Looks like it was a good Impact this week. Guns beat TMDK and continue to look amazing. Then they challenge BC for the tag titles at Rebellion in an Ultimate X match. That should be amazing. Trey thought he would avoid an opponent at the PPV by interrupting the match between Bailey and Gresham but instead gets both of them. Only bad thing about that is the rubber match was not a clean victory. Santino is going to get back in the ring at Rebellion. I guess for nostalgia that is not too bad. Jody Threat looked a bit sloppy but also looked like a bad ass. Darren McCarty got the win after a stunner. That was pretty cool. Hardcore War at Rebellion might be a decent match. Alisha helping her husband was not a shocker contrary to what Impact might try to lead us to believe. I am guessing she was the driver of the car that hit PCO. Meh. Impact is doing the best they can to make Maclin vs KUSHIDA for the Impact World title at Rebellion seem big. In the past they have done good turning lemons into lemonade so I am thinking they will do a decent story with the match and what follows. In the end I see Alexander returning and getting the title back.

El Reverso in the Impact Zone. Cool name. The Laredo Kid returned. Still feel like Black Taurus and Rich Swann are being underused way too much. Usual, predictable leadup to the Rebellion PPV. A nice moment for Mickie James as she gives up the title belt. I think they did it that way as they were not sure she would have to until they had finished their tapings. If so, they did it in a smart way. Rebellion should be pretty good. We will have a new World and KO champion for sure. The World Champion will be a first time, at least in Impact, and the KO will be a former champ.

Forgot to mention the other day, Rosemary was trying to get back into the Shadow Realm and was stopped. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it if when she got in, she came across Bunny and brought her back to the Impact Zone.

I wonder if WWE and Impact have some kind of loose agreement on certain talent or if Impact just is willing to sign flexible contracts with some talent. I am going off Chelsea Green and Mia Yim. Green came back for about a year and a half then returned to WWE. Mia did the same but for 6 months exactly. It would be smart for WWE as they can write someone off for awhile, have them stay sharp with a top company and then bring the talent back as a "surprise" when the writers have something for them.

Another fun Impact. Things that stood out to me was Impact must be starting to make a bit of money or getting back their prestige as The Army of Violence that jumped Sami was 15 men strong instead of the usual 3 or 4 random guys that are used in a beat down. Impressive. Also impressive was having Trinity/Naomi end the show with her appearance and having mic time. Impact is definitely the place for woman wrestlers to shine on, not a big stage, but a good sized one. I just find it amusing they said Trinity makes her Impact debut and as any long time fan knows there was already a Trinity. I do look forward to what this Trinity does and how Impact uses her. Lastly, while it will not happen I would be over the moon if Sabin won the X division title and Shelly won the World title. MCMG having both the top single titles would be too...well it would be sweet. Even if just short runs. At the least I do hope Shelly gets to finally have a run with the World title. If it was me I think I would give it to him, then let Kazarian have a run with it before Maclin wins it back and holds it till Josh returns.

I decided to resubscribe to Impact Plus and watched last week's show and it was pretty good, that ladies opening match I liked and the Good Hands are interesting. I was watching when Maclin started in Impact and now I'm liking him, overall I'm glad I'm watching again...

COURTNEY RUSH is in the Impact Zone!!!!
A few months back, maybe even a year or more I was thinking it would be cool to see her. Thought it would give her a fresh look to change things up. I did not think it would happen as Rosemary is so damn good. But it DID happen. She is back. Just sucks the crowd was not very good. She deserved better than that. If I had been there I would have been so excited that with the crowd as quiet as they are I could have been in the nose bleed seats and you would have heard me. I wish Impact/Anthem could have ponied up the money and got the rights to play Bon Jovi's Bad Medicine, at least for just her return, as that would have made it more bad ass. By the way, if anyone saw it or the clip on Twitter and/or on the Impact web site did you notice a little nod to a classic movie she did? I thought that was cool. For me, the only thing that could have been as great as Rush coming out of the Shadow Realm would have been Bunny aka Allie.
The rest of the show seemed pretty good too as they head into Under Siege tonight. I am interested in who Sami and Rich's mystery partner could be. My guess is either Willie Mack of Jake Crist. Also it looks like MAAAAAYBE they put the World title on PCO. I doubt it but would not be shocked if they do.

You were right about Crist being the mystery partner!

And I am damn happy about it! Not that I was right but that he is back in the Impact Zone and on TV. Where he belongs.
How about this weeks show? Bully is back and I willed that into existence. I was thinking recently that I had not seen him and wondered what he was up to and if he was still with Impact. Question answered. Alex Shelly is going against all odds at Against All Odds to challenge for the World title. Can he win it? YEP! Man, he is so damn cool. He can make a one word answer seem bad ass. It would make sense for him to win and then face Bully. There is SO MUCH history between the Guns and Bully that is just makes sense. We are coming off a historic run by Josh that only ended due to injury. So, a short run of title changes is not the worst thing. Josh returning to face Bully for the title would be an epic matchup as well.

That's a good call about Shelley! I think he's earned the right to be World champion! Anywhere! Hope they pull the trigger!
Impact continues to give us great content every week. Maclin is doing well as the champ so it is a toss up between him & Shelley! Great booking going forward!
I think Impact is in my top 3 favorites to watch.
