TNA is going to be in Spartanburg, SC this weekend. Not sure if it is an Impact taping but if it is they kind of ruined one of the matches. Actually it might be slightly ruined either way. On Friday they are advertising ABC vs The Hardys. Then on Saturday it is The System vs ABC and Hardys. So, it looks like The System will get involved in the match Friday. Just not sure if during or after. It will be to set up Saturday I am sure.

Tomorrow night Jordynne Grace will team with a mystery partner from NXT against Rosemary and Wendy Choo. I mention this not because of the mystery partner, which will be cool I am sure even if I am not too aware of who she is, but because of the team of Rosemary and Choo. It is obvious that the working relationship between TNA and NXT has been beneficial to TNA. Getting their talent more exposure by being on a major network with NXT. Although the way the fans reacted most of the wrestlers were already known by the NXT fans. Heck, having NXT talent on TNA helped as well I am sure. But what is NXT getting out of it. Some fresh matchups for sure. Maybe seeing how outside talent can mesh with the NXT way of doing things to see if WWE needs to spend as much time getting outside talent trained for NXT as they currently do. But this tag team is something that can help NXT. From what I have read Wendy Choo has been going thru some character changes before getting to this point. It can take time for a wrestler to find their character. See Kane as a great example. Since they are going for a dark character there are few people in this business better than Rosemary to help Choo develop her character. If both ladies are able to work together, which I am guessing they can, Wendy Choo should come out of this with a better developed character and some ideas for down the line to help her be better in NXT and further on if she gets called up to the main roster. If she does, this relationship between TNA and NXT might last for awhile.

I'm currently watching this week's episode of Impact on my TNA+ account.
I want to watch this year's Bound for Glory but it is taking place on October 25th which is Nevada Day a state holiday here in Nevada and I am spending that day (a Friday of a 3-day weekend) in California as I have a ticket to go to California Adventures.
Depending on what time I get done at California Adventures (I have a Lightning Pass ticket,) I am not adverse to getting some beers and watching Bound for Glory (Triller allows you to start at the beginning of the show even if the original airing is still in progress) at my hotel room in Anaheim. I can even watch the replay later that night or the next day as long as I can avoid spoilers.

I have not been following as closely the last couple weeks, a pair of hurricanes will do that, but I just checked the matches so far and it has the potential to be a very good PPV. Some really good matchups IMHO and a lot of talented wrestlers that can go. Long as they are healthy, are given the proper amount of time and have a good match laid out it should be a blast. Whenever you watch it.

The last Impact before BFG was pretty good and helped set things up nicely. But there was one spot that they should be embarrassed over. Josh Alexander and The Northern Armory went to zip tie Steve Maclin to the ropes. All they did was zip tie his hands together and hand them dropped over the middle rope. They all acted like he was helpless but he could have pulled his arms up over the rope and stood in the ring or even moved around. Yes, his hands were behind his back but they made it seem worse than it was. It looked goofy to me. Beyond that, I am looking forward to seeing what happens tonight. I wonder if there will be a big surprise. At the least I expect something from John Layfield. If it involves a story line that happens in TNA and at least one other wrestling promotion it might be interesting.

Alexander vs Gresham was decent, but a couple of mistakes in there and Gresham seemed to have been knocked a little silly for a moment after he slipped on the ropes! Layfield said something along the lines of he has stuff coming the other day, so I think it's very unlikely he doesn't surface tonight.

I wonder if Zachary Wentz will be getting a push soon. In the Gauntlet match he eliminated 3 wrestlers, and it appears he was the only one to be eliminated by more than one person.

I also find it interesting that Frankie, who is the special referee in the World title match, won the Call Your Shot. If the special referee ends up winning the World title, I am suing TNA for ripping off my idea from my PAW fed lol

I am currently watching Bound for Glory, but not live as I got home from California and then got a couple hours of sleep. I just got done watching Mike Bailey defend the X Division Championship against Vikingo in the opening match. It is good to see Vikingo back.
I think this was the first time Vikingo has been pinned in the US? There was a time previously when AAA would not allow Vikingo to lose by pinfall in the US which is why he was in a triple threat in the First Round at BOLA. I guess AAA is no longer worried about it since Vikingo had to vacate the AAA Mega Championship.

the main event is about to start (again currentky watching the replay) but TNA showed a graphic for next week's Impact on Halloween which said New X-Division Champion Vikingo will be in action on that episode of Impact?
but I watxed Vikingo lose to X-Division Champion Mike Bailey on tonight's show, I wonder if the initial plan was for Vikingo to go over which is why that graphic incorrectly saying he is the new X-Divison Champion was used?
