I was able to watch this weeks episode last night. Really good once again. Next card looks great and that is before the recent bomb of a surprise dropped. It was great seeing Jazz in the ring again. The story lines, both serious and goofy, are moving along nicely. I am so happy to see Cody Deaner start to be written seriously. Him being pissed at EY should lead to some wild action.

Anyone else watching Final Resolution tonight?
This is the lineup:
The show airs at 8 PM ET on Impact Plus, as well as on FITE TV.
Impact World Championship: Rich Swann (c) vs. Chris Bey
Knockouts Championship: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Rosemary
X-Division Championship: “Defeat Rohit” Challenge
Old School Rules: Tommy Dreamer vs. Larry D
Havok & Nevaeh vs. The Sea Stars
Tenille Dashwood & Kaleb (With A K) vs. Alisha & Eddie Edwards
Karl Anderson vs. Ethan Page (w/Josh Alexander)
Eric Young vs. Rhino
Hernandez vs. Fallah Bahh (w/Kiera Hogan as the guest referee and Tasha Steelz as the guest announcer)
I am going to start watching this show at 5 and then I think at 7 I will switch to tonight's airing of the NJPW Super J Cup 2020 (this afternoon I am also watching this week's edition of ROH) and then go back to watch whatever was left of Final Resolution after I made the switch to the Super J Cup. Chris Bey is actually on both shows.
Speaking of Chris Bey, I saw he posted on Facebook tonight that his match against Impact World Champion Rich Swann is only the 2nd time that two African American men have competed against each other in a match for their fed's version of the world championship with The Rock vs Booker T at Summerslam being the only other time. I was not aware of that.

Won't be watching, but certainly interested in the card. Guess I'll catch the highlights on their YouTube channel!

Pretty decent card. Hoping for someone surprising for the Rohit challenge. Nice to see The Sea Stars are getting more air time as opposed to a one and done in the tournament.

Yeah, lol earlier in the day I rolled out (and later posted results on the board for) some matches for my CVW fed while watching ROH. I have this two-screen arrangement set up for teaching at home during the week (thankfully I kept the screen from the last desktop I owned years ago) but it also works well for other things too such as watching two wrestling shows at once. Today I am watching Red Zone on one screen while doing work (creating review games and grading my final semester assignment for AP World History) on my laptop. Even when we return to the classroom, I am keeping this two-screen setup at home.

Final Resolution was pretty good last night. Didn't set the world on fire but considering the price it was worth it lol. I thought we would see Manik earlier but they did the Suicide/Crazzy Steve thing instead which was smart. Having Manik wins is best as not Rohit can complain and work to get his title back. The BC "reunion" and tease was fun but it of course will not result in anything. It looks more and more like Ethan Page is on his way out of Impact. That sucks because along with no more The North we lost the Deaners last night. A once strong tag division is getting weaker. Need to bring in a team or two. I love Rosemary but she seems to be just there last year or so. Good match but of course she was not going to win. Hit Red Wedding so should have won but distractions. I see not putting gold on her but she needs a good feud in 2021. Something like she had against Jade and Su Yung. Kiera as ref and Tasha as ring announcer/time keeper was entertaining. I hope they do that again sometime. Lets them get air time and to shine without needing a match.

Finally saw last weeks show, the last new one of 2020. Holy shit was it good. Loved seeing my Motor City Machine Guns showing their attitude. It all lead to the set up for the main event at Hard To Kill ppv. Rich Swann and the MCMG vs Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers. Hell yea that is gonna be...tooooooooo sweeeeeeeeeeet. If BC is doing a sorta reforming in Impact it might be time for Aces and 8s to reform. But this time instead of taking over Impact it will be to save Impact.
Great KO action and continuing of story lines. Only issue I have as I've said before it seems like they are tearing apart some tag teams. From the Deaners to Triple XL to The North (which might be out of their hands if Page doesn't resign) and now putting a possible issue in Hogan and Steelz life as they are headed toward winning the KO Tag Titles. Hopefully things work out all around although Deaners are done with Cody joining up with Eric Young. Speaking of EY but for some reason he reminds me of Woody Harrelson in War for the Planet of Apes. Seeing Karate Man was cool. AEW Dixie (Tony Khan) is doing a good job of being a heel. Just time someone points that while down now TNA/Impact used to regularly draw over 1M on little Spike and AEW hasn't hit it let on TNT or if they have it has been a LONG time since they did. Maybe someone should also tell him the Jags are not very good.
