MHardcore school is still kinda-sorta going on with the district trying to set up remote learning things and the like but no one is actually going into the school but, yeah. It's pretty much done. My kids have been doing distance learning since Tuesday. For my daughter its not a huge difference from regular middle school since they do so much work on their chrome book anyway. It has been more of a challenge for my 3rd grade son though. I fully expect for the rest of the school year to be done remotely. I work for Marriott, which is getting killed financially, and most of the staff is furloughed. I still will be working, but at reduced pay and days. Going to be a long spring...

My wife and I are both very blessed that we can do our jobs remotely. I know we're very fortunate.

My SO teaches Law & Ethics at a high school here in CT and she was recently told that they may not set foot back in the building for the rest of the school year. It's crazy stuff. Stay safe and healthy. I would assume the school year is over. I’m hoping there’s NFL football this year. My Bills are finally stacked! I'm gonna be pissed if we don't get some MLB action this year. I was really looking forward to a good year for the Twins!

The thought of anyone working right now at reduced pay is absolutely ridiculous. You should be getting more. Broken System. Places like GameStop (essential?) & Hobby Lobby (staying open because Jesus spoke to the owners wife) don’t want to give their workers more pay but don’t mind putting them on the frontlines. Ps F Braun Strowman that giant meat head. Everyone isn’t 6’4” and built like a Super Hero. Indy wrestlers looking out for each other and asking people to buy their friends shirts is such a horrible thing. Not like they put their bodies on the line for us or anything. Now more than ever. He would understand if he put in the grind and didn’t just get hired cuz he gave VM a chubby when he saw his lats.

I work for Hilton at a Hampton Inn and lucky for me we already run a skeleton crew and my owner/GM doesn't want to work the desk so still getting the hours. It's been dead. Our arrivals for next four days are 1 or less.

I work in retail (Petrol/Gas station) and have been classed as a key workers . Fire / ambulance / police fuel up here . Looks like NO time off for us . Which I am glad about , hopefully still getting money in the bank .
Seriously would it matter if we got our cards late ? Okay I have done some griping about not getting cards on time , in the past . But when lives at risk , is it that important ? (Don't answer that . Maybe Moolah or Vampiro would like to kick some ass as well)

I have been working through this... I work on various machines such as Servers, computers, power servers, and self service kiosks... I have complained about working as I dont want to get exposed but am glad I am working. During the weekends, I have been staying at home as much as possible except to get food for the week. I am going stir crazy...playing COTG (really moving though son's fed...by end of next week will be in Civil War era... awesome time in the GWF), painting Games Workshop figures, reading, and watching the boob tube...buuut really want to go out. Which is weird as I am a homebody usually. This morning I woke up to a sore throat and an elevated temperature. I am hoping that my throat hurts due to not wearing sleep apnea machine last night.

Hang tight Old Skewl I hope you get to feeling better man! I work in retail so I'm in the frontlines here up north, though were at reduced hours and get to wear gloves and masks when dealing with customers at till. If the sets are delayed hey I'm cool with that as we all have a bigger dilemma at hand. But I will say this, any distraction we can get is a big help and when that white envelope comes in the mail I know I'm always super excited to get lost in the GWF/LOW world Stay safe everyone!

Be safe everyone! Take care of yourself Old Skewl!
My roommate works for Home Depot and they're classified as essential and their response as a company has been amazing.

Old Skewl hope it's just a cold. I got nailed by a cold the day of the California shut down. I'm essential too. Water treatment operator. I called in sick one day, when I went back in I had to send in a picture of my thermometer to prove I didn't have a fever. Our shifts were extended to twelve hours and we split staffed so only see one dude the whole day. So busy I haven't been able to play. Come home, eat, high five my wife, go to sleep. Repeat. So when flushing your toilet or taking a shower, silently thank your local water and sewer guys.
