Had one of those matches that we have all had, but very few will always stand out in your mind as far as the detail like this. Using Shane Douglas w/Francine vs. Abdullah the Butcher from Legends Expansion Pack IV.
Abdullah would dominate the match, getting a couple of cover attempts and about 5 total Add 1's between Foreign Object and the Karate Thrust to the Throat.........but never rolling the Meat Cleaver finisher. Before you knew it Shane had 7 Tokens.......yes 7 tokens accumulated in just a couple of minutes of play. After going back and forth a bit on Level 2, finally Shane gets a break on a reversal........gets the level 3 offense. Hits the BELLY TO BELLY (+1)..........Abdullah still with no tokens............snake eyes. What a match as Shane Douglas stole a match that he had almost no chance of winning. Funny thing was, I could really see that match playing out like that in real life.
Any great legends matches to share from the newest color expansions, would love to hear about them.

I love matches where one wrestler has all the offence only for the other to steal victory with one move. I cannot think of having one for ages though I have had one-move-and-it's-over matches.

I have lots of classics as part of the Legends Tournament but I always go back to my 2012 tournament for one of my all-time favourites. The finals were between Andre the Giant, the top seed, and Nick Bockwinkel, the number six seed. Andre had been nearly upset by Bryan Danielson in the first round and Bockwinkel had to overcome a determine challenge from Cowboy Bob Orton who had come out of nowhere to reach the semi-finals.
"These two battled to a one hour draw back in the day that was positively received by fans and critics alike now they battled for LOW supremacy. Bockwinkel goes into the ropes early and is able to stun Andre with a leg block on the rebound. A series of kick to the ribs gives Bockwinkel the advantage but Andre grabs Bockwinkel in a bear hug. Bockwinkel escapes (R12/P3). Andre takes the match to the oustide and scores with a body slam at ringside then greets Heenan with a head butt that sprawls the Brian onto the arena floor. Andre goes to the floor one too many times and Bockwinkel gains the upper hand. Back in the ring a piledriver rocks the fans and Andre rolls to the floor. Bockwinkel comes outside but Andre gains the upper hand. Andre controls the action in the ring but cannot get Bockwinkel in a pinning position. Bockwinkel is able to avoid an elbow drop and goes after Andre’s legs with a figure four leglock (ch). Andre once again bails to the floor. Bockwinkel follows the Giant out and then trade blows around the ring. Andre tosses Bockwinkel back into the ring as Heenan shakes out the cob webs. Andre then tosses Bockwinkel to the floor and runs his head into the ringside rails. Bockwinkel is busted open and the referee warns the Giant. Andre mounts the corner with a bloody Bockwinkel dazed in the ring. Heenan is yelling at ringside and Giant is momentarily distracted. It is all Bockwinkel needs as he falls into the ropes causing the Giant to fall from the top rope to the mat twisting his leg/knee in the process. The fans are reeling. Andre is in obvious pain. Heenan is screaming “the knee, the knee!” Bockwinkel acts quickly and applies a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Andre cannot reach the ropes despite his size and submits (R2/P2) (Snake eyes!). Nick Bockwinkel wins the 64 man tournament!"
The match had a little bit of everything. Blood, manager action, back and forth action and a snake eyes finish. It represented for me at the time everything that makes this game so great.

Have had many tournaments over the years, only to have the Final be a dud, quick match, etc. Thanks for sharing, that was awesome!
