I wasn't familiar with Alex Zayne. I'll have to check him out. From the looks of things, he and Ace Austin share the same barber though.

What would you guys like to see in July for Gcon weekend? In the chance of the wrestling show actually happening that weekend, then something Freelance/Chicago wrestling themed would be cool. Atticus Cogar, Effy, Kylie Rae, Shane Sabre, Kobe Durst, GPA. If not, Tag teams would be cool. Also depending on who's signed... an Indie Death Match set would be great! Feels like we don't have a huge amount of death match guys and guys like Alex Colon, Eric Ryan & RSP could use some death match-ier updates. I think it's been a year since an ROH release, right? There's been a good amount of change there & after a terrible 2019 it looked like ROH may rebound in 2020 before everything shutdown. I know online signings happen but I'm sure in person may be easier to convince the wrestlers sometimes. But in the incredibly unlikely scenario these all get signed, a "Black Wednesday 2020" set with Hawkins, Ryder, The Revival, EC3, Drake Maverick, Anderson, Gallows, Rusev & Eric Young would be great! The long awaited new Chikara set? 😀 NWA set with a Billy Corgan owner card! We've got Mexico, UK & Canada... how about Japan? Or lastly my personal pick... one that would include Puf, Kevin Blackwood, Daniel Garcia, Dr Daniel C Rockingham, Philly Collins, Marino Tenaglia, Weird Body, World Wide, Derek Director & Eddie Only. |

I don't know if this is still the case in what promoters would currently want the most, but on the poll from late last year, tag teams finished in 2nd place to Best of Mexico: filsingergames.proboards.com/thread/20319/best-indies?page=2Based on the signings I know about, tag teams would make a great set because (in addition to the previously announced Aussie Open who came very close to winning the poll they were in last year) some of the best tag teams of the Indys are already signed and there has not been a tag team specific set released before for the Indy cards. I also really want another ROH set even though by the end of May we will have already sort of gotten about 1/2 a ROH set anyway with Flamita, Rey Horus, the recently announced Alex Zayne, and 1 more name getting announced soon. There are some great women signed up too, so I think a women's set would also work. |
