Death Knight defeats Spike clean?! HOLY SNAP! About what I said when I saw it happen. I thought for sure that Spike would roll past him with ease but the simulation proved me wrong. Then what happened at the finals on night 6 blew that upset away by a long shot.

New Galaxian Pro Wrestling Special Report 2.1.88 - Hello everyone and welcome to the special report. Our very first tour is in the books and boy did it ever live up to the hype that was Invasion Attack. While only 1 championship changed hands on this night. The new faces of the NGPW roster shined very bright on the new stage. We now focus on our next tour which will run from February 8th to the 14th. The tour will start this time at the Cassini Auditorium on February 8th and 9th before heading to the Phobos Sundome on the 10th and 11th. Then finishing up with the 12th and 13th at the Olympus Mons Acropolis and the final night at Deimos Intergalactic Arena on February 14th. We have a brand new GWF Interplanetary Champion in Killer Queen. Killer Queen who was formally one half of the tag team High Society, finally tasted his first piece of gold in the promotion. Pulsar put up one heck of a fight in defending his championship but it looks like he may never recover the glory of his first run as his last two runs have only lasted 1 match as champion. Killer Queen will now be able to sit back and relax as champion and watch the tournament unfold to see who will face him at New Beginnings for the title. Here is a look at the tournament bracket... #1 Contenders Tournament - GWF Interplanetary Championship - First Round Matches Reptillo vs Omega Splatter vs Pit Viper Spike vs Death Knight Pulsar - First Round Bye One of the newest tag teams to enter the NGPW made it all the way to the championship match. The Bomb Squad, Comprised of Commander Sam and Adam Blast when on an amazing run to the championship match. One that included what many believe is an upset when they defeated The Gladiators of Aethra in the finals to clinch the championship match. The only problem is they ran into a well seasoned team in the Greek Gods. Actagon and Proteus were able to make quick work of the bomb squad and retain the titles at Invasion Attack. Can the Bomb Squad repeat there path to glory or will another team rise up to take them down? Here is how the bracket looks for this tournament... #1 Contenders Tournament - GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championships - First Round Matches Gladiators of Aethra vs Society of Death Norse Gods vs Beauty and The Beast Animal Pack vs Neptunian Space Croppers Titan Powers vs Henchmen Bomb Squad - Bye in Finals. Thantos will no doubt go down in the history books of NGPW as the greatest GWF Galaxian Champion of this era. Thantos has held the top prize in this company on three different occasions for a total of 255 days now. The other 4 men who have held the GWF title combined have only held the title for 150 days. This tells you how incredible, wither you like him or not, That Thantos is in the ring as a wrestler. The tournament will be a tough one as always for the men involved to make it to the championship match. If Invasion Attack showed us anything though it was that you never know who will show up in that match. Here is a look at the bracket for the tournament... #1 Contenders Tournament - GWF Galaxian Championship - First Round Matches Invincible Krakan vs Exo-King Star Warrior vs Wolf Mesmer vs Bishop Hell Massif - First Round Bye There you have it. We are set to start the road to New Beginnings. Stay tuned right here on the official NGPW Thread for all the latest information and results from this exciting tour.

Great run by Killer Queen - one of my favourites of the golden era - to claim the IP strap... And the Gamemaster is holding strong at the top... 2088 kicked off with a potent bang!

Great run by Killer Queen - one of my favourites of the golden era - to claim the IP strap... And the Gamemaster is holding strong at the top... 2088 kicked off with a potent bang! I'm waiting for Bishop Hell to get to the championship match. I have a feeling he is going to be the biggest challenge to the title this year. Killer queen rocking the IP strap after a year of failed Tag Team Titles chances is a great story line in and of itself. I really enjoyed his ride. Bomb Squad upsetting the Gladiators to make it to the finals I believe was bigger then Death Knight beating Spike. I hope New Beginnings keeps the momentum going.
