New Galaxian Pro Wrestling Special Report Jan. 1, 2087 - The return of pro wrestling has begun across the galaxy. New Promotions have begun to take shape but one in particular has gotten the most attention out of all of them. A promotion that has one sole governing body that will make up the dates, venues, events and rules for everything that happen in the promotion. The governing body is being called "The COTG" or Champions of the Galaxy. This board of officials bought out the old GWF Wrestling promotion, including its talent, championship belts and home venue and have since rebranded the promotion to fit what the company values are in being "Champions of the Galaxy. The name is this new promotion is called "New Galaxian Pro Wrestling" or "NGPW". In an unprecedented move, COTG has decided not to change the names of any of the championship belts but instead start a new history. One where the belts have no history to them in terms of who has held them in the past. While most of the roster that was bought in the sale have decided to retire or move to different roles. A new crop of talent has emerged to fill those voids in an attempt to bring history and impact back to the title belts that hold so dearly in their minds as the top championships in wrestling though out the galaxy. We have been told that there will only be 2 singles championships and 1 tag team championships that will be fought for in the inaugural year that the company will be doing shows in. Those belts are the GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championships, The GWF Interplanetary Championship and the GWF Galaxian Championship. We have been told that tonight's first event being held at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena on the planet Deimos will hold the opening round of the tournament to crown their first GWF Champion. A term in which they will be known as "Generation" champions making the belts seem even more important then they originally were to the wrestlers carrying them. The first tour in January will be known as the "Road to Galaxian Kingdom" with the ending of the tour being the "Galaxian Kingdom" Supercard where all three champions will be crowned on that night. This tour will be a 4 night celebration of the beginning of this new promotion history where fans will get to see the birth of it all. We have been told that there will be a special announement at the Galaxian Kingdom Supercard about the next tour and how it will uniquely play a role in the shaping of upcoming events over the following two months of touring that the company has planned. Quick Update:
So before I start posting the updates I thought I would put up a quick thing on how I am going to do this fed. I am going to use the sim engine on the Cotgonline.com site for everything. One time push to get the result of the match no matter who wins or loses.
Number one contenders will be determined in single elimination tournaments that will be held each month with the exception of February and I will post that in a special report on how that happens. I have already had some big upsets in doing this and have figured out ways to include the special matches into it. Next post starts the tournament results and wait til you see this.

New Galaxian Pro Wrestling SPECIAL REPORT 1.15.2087 - The NGPW is now in full swing after the events that happened at Galaxian Kingdom. We now have our very first generation champions in the companies history. The NGPW crew is now set for the next upcoming set of shows to be held at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena. The set of shows will be called the "Road to New Beginnings" and finish with the New Beginnings Super Card. This time the tournament to crown the number one contenders for both the singles and tag team championships will be done just a little bit differently. As you saw in our last update here, we showed you what both the singles and tag team rankings were after the Galaxian Kingdom event took place. These rankings are what will be used to set up the "New Beginnings" tournaments. While both singles tournaments will be run the same way, its the tag team tournament that will be a little bit different. We start with the tournament to see who will face off with Commander Sam at New Beginnings. With 7 men in this tournament, it means that one person will receive a bye into the semi-finals. By reaching the finals of the previous tournament, Death Knight has been given the by into the semi-finals. The person to face off with the fresh Death Knight will be the winner of their match in the quickest amount of time. The three remaining matches that will be fought on Night 2 of the Road to New Beginnings are as follows: #1 Contenders Tournament - GWF Interplanetary Championship - 1st Round Pulsar vs Mutant Ghengis Khan vs Executioner Omega vs Pit Viper The Tag Team Tournament will be done differently as well. The tag team tournament will be a Step Ladder Tournament Style based off the ranking. So on the opening night of the Road to New Beginnings we will see The Greek Gods face off with The Neptunian Space Croppers with the winner of that heading to Night 4 to face off with the High Society. The winner of that match will be crowned the number one contenders and face off with the champions at New Beginnings. #1 Contenders Tournament - GWF Tag Team Championships The Greek Gods vs The Neptunian Space Croppers The High Society vs TBD Finally let's talk about the tournament to crown a new number one contender for the GWF Championship. The same way that Death Knight received his bye into the semi-finals of the Interplanetary tournament. Lord Nexus will get the automatic bye into the semi-finals of this tournament due to being in the finals of the last tournament. This does make for some very exciting first round match ups in this tournament.
