I have to say I was alittle surprised that Massif won on his first try. I really thought the simulator would sku thing more toward Warrior but was very happy to be stunned in seeing that Massif won. Also surprised to see the Gladiators lose the titles in their first defense but I bet they regain them quickly. I got to see some great upsets in this last tournament.

New Galaxian Pro Wrestling Special Report 3.7.2087 - The New Galaxian Cup brought us pleanty of surprises. Thantos was able to come away as the inaugural New Galaxian Cup winner but failed to defeat Massif for the GWF Galaxian Championship. We now start our next event at the Deimos InterGalactic Arena entitled "Destruction" This event will take place from March 12th to March 15th and will feature the usual tournament format in crowning new number one contenders for the championships on March 15th. As we said earlier, Massif became the first man to successfully retain the GWF Galaxian Championship in his first title defense. While Thantos put up a really good fight, He was no match for the Mountain of a man known as Massif. Thantos does get a bit of a breather in the fact that he does get the first round bye into the semi-finals, But so far neither person on the GWF Championship roster who has had the first round bye has made it out of the semi-final round. Could Thantos change that and possibly challenge again for the second event in a row for the title? Lets see how the GWF Galaxian Championship Tournament is laid out as of right now. GWF Championship Bracket - First Round Matches Invincible Krakan vs Comrade Terror Wolf vs Exo-King Star Warrior vs Lord Nexus Now alot of people are amazed at the first round match up pitting Star Warrior and Lord Nexus after the first ever Last Man Standing match in company history. While Star Warrior came out on top in the contest. Many believe that Lord Nexus will be the one to come out on top in this encounter. We will have to wait and see just how this new chapter turns out. Pit Viper almost made history of his own at New Galaxian Cup. He became the first wrestler to wrestle 3 times in one night. He first won the finals of the Interplanetary Bracket defeating Mutant. Then faced off with Thantos in the finals of the New Galaxian Cup tournament but was over powered by Thantos in the loss. Exhaustion has to have set in by then as he would also lose to Commander Sam in his bid to become the 2nd Generation champion of that belt. While Pit Viper will recieve the bye into the semi-finals. The real person to watch out for is Mutant. Mutant had the bye round in the last tournament and made it back to the finals before losing to Pit Viper. Can Mutant make his way back to the finals for a third straight tournament? Here is how the first round of the GWF Interplanetary Championship Tournament looks. GWF Interplanetary Championship Roster - First Round Matches Pulsar vs Ghengis Khan Omega vs Executioner Death Knight vs Mutant And there you have it. A look at the first round matches as the road to Destruction begins on Wednesday Night, March 12th and will finish on Saturday Night March 15th, All events held at the Deimos InterGalactic Arena. Who do you think will challenge for the championships at the end of this new tournament?
