New Galaxian Pro Wrestling SPECIAL REPORT 2.20.88 - Its that time a year again folks. Time for the second annual New Galaxian Cup event. This years New Galaxian Cup will take place from February 29th - March 6th and will feature the same format as it did last year with the losing wrestlers from the championship matches at New Beginning receiving a bye into the semi-finals of the tournament. The only man difference this year from last year is that Thantos will not be defending his cup title as he is the current GWF Galaxian Champion. This leaves the event wide open for anyone to make history of their own at the start of the year. Also just like last year, The winner of the New Galaxian Cup will gain a shot at the GWF Galaxian Champion on the final night of the tournament at Deimos Intergalactic Arena. We know last year that Thantos ran the table in winning the New Galaxian Cup but could not come away with the GWF Championship that night. Questions have been brought up that since there really is not a strong favorite right now to win the tournament. What would happen if someone from the Interplanetary Roster not only won the cup but was able to upset Thantos at the end of the night? COTG Board of Directors along with Commission Carter and the NGPW Board held a meeting and said if such a thing were to happen. That wrestler would become a permanent part of the GWF Championship Roster and the wrestler with the worst record on that roster would take the place on the GWF Interplanetary Championship Roster. Thantos continues his record setting pace as GWF Galaxian Champion. If Thantos can successfully defend the GWF Championship at New Galaxian Cup, He will set the record for most successful defenses in one reign with 5 straight. It's no surprise that alot of people believe it will take someone incredibly special to stop his run as champion. His current reign will sit at 94 days held (second longest for him) when he defends the title on March 6th at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena. Invincible Krakan will look to continue his start to the year as he will be waiting in the semi-finals after getting the bye in. Here is how the first round of the GWF Championship Roster bracket will look like.. New Galaxian Cup - GWF Galaxian Championship Roster - First Round Matches Exo-King vs Star Warrior Bishop Hell vs Mesmer Wolf vs Massif Invincible Krakan - First Round Bye Killer Queen made his first successful title defense at New Beginnings defeating Pit Viper. The former tag team partner of Vanity seems to be settling well into his new singles roles as he has yet to lose a match in 2088. Magazines across the galaxy did say before the year kicked off that they believed Killer Queen would have a good year being on his own but no one believed he would have the start to the year he is currently having right now. While Pit Viper receives the bye into the semi-finals, He will look to make history of his own in this tournament. Pit Viper won the Interplanetary Roster bracket last year only to fall to Thantos in the Cup finals match. Could he make it back to the finals for the second year in a row only to win this year? Lets find out as we look at the GWF Interplanetary Roster brackets.. New Galaxian Cup - GWF Interplanetary Championship Roster - First Round Matches Omega vs Splatter Spike vs Reptillo Pulsar vs Death Knight Pit Viper - First Round Bye The tag team division is alive and well in 2088. The new batch of talent that was added to the roster this year has proven to be a tough go for two of the three original teams from 2087. The only team right now not having a rough go are the current tag team champions themselves, The Greek Gods. The Greek Gods actually have a chance at making history as well at New Galaxian Cup this year. They were the defending champions in the championship match last year and retained over the Neptunian Space Croppers. Can the Greek Gods become the first team to retain their titles on the same event a year apart or will another team come in a spoil the party? Here is how the GWF Tag Team Tournament will set up... New Galaxian Cup - GWF Galaxian Tag Team Championship Roster - First Round Matches Gladiators of Aethra vs Society of Death Beauty and The Beast vs N.S.C. Animal Pack vs Henchmen Titan Power vs Bomb Squad Norse Gods - Bye into the Finals. So what are you guesses as to who will face off in the finals of the New Galaxian Cup Tournament? Do you believe whoever wins the cup will win the belt as well? Keep an eye right here on the official NGPW Message Board as we keep you up to date on the results of the New Galaxian Cup 2088 event.

Yeah but funny thing was and by looking at the states as well, Wolf got frustrated by having 3 tokens to 0 for Massif. I am hoping for a strong showing from Bishop Hell, Spike and Splatter in this tournament. Thanks for the feedback and follow boss.
