Gonna try something that I tried like 10 years ago on another board: wrestling as a team-sport. Each team will have a max of 7 wrestlers (5 starters, 2 "bench") and they'll wrestle in ten man tags across a season with the post-season being an 8 team playoff.
BREAKING: New Professional Wrestling League Announced
NEW YORK CITY -- Today, several of the most promiment promoters and matchmakers in the professional wrestling world converged on the Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden to announce a new endeavor: a league of wrestling 'teams' set up across the United States with a format not unlike your favorite team sport. The league, titled the National Wrestling League, will begin in October and run with a 30 week season. There were sixteen teams announced, with the owners and general managers all appearing and speaking before the press today. A draft, which will go for five rounds and allow each team to draft their "starters", will take place next week (Writer's Note: I'll probably post it tonight or tomorrow), but the locations of the teams and the league's first year schedule were announced today.
