I am looking forward to the WarGames sets. 2091 has my all time favorite early era superstar - Justice! He was an absolute beast in my fed and the first surprise GWF champion after guys like Star Warrior, Thantos and Wolf dominated the belt for the first few years. |

Once 91 comes out, I plan on getting 88-91 and rerunning my favorite year in the GWF.

Seeing a proper skinny Ursa Major would be great. But Astro Turk And black hole Bart are perfect. I don't see anyone being able capture the very essence of what makes them so bad, and by bad I mean awesome, how Chuck was able to pull off. I would be happy with the colorized version from the website. But hey maybe the new guy can pull it off. I'm very skeptical though.

My hope is that ALL the black & white sets are colorized. Same. However, I really prefer the new art as well. I like the idea of re-imagining. |

I just ordered the original color set and the 2088 invasion set, can’t wait for them to come in.
I wasn’t sure how I would like the color cards and then I ordered the 2125 Legends set as well as 2126 and 2127 and thought they looked awesome, can’t wait for the 2 sets I just ordered.
I hope they redo all the sets in color, I would buy them even tho I have all the black and white ones.

As an returning player who has not purchased any sets in a long time (though I did dip back into the 2125 color set when it was released) it is really cool having the newer color cards for the classic characters. I was going to roll through some of the older sets strictly for nostalgia so I was on the fence but glad I gave them a shot. The nicer cardstock and color art are a definite quality of life upgrade. My older cards are still in pretty good shape considering their age, but after using the modern cards its nice to have the option for older fed with the newer "upgrades".
Now I have to get my classic fed rolling. I have 2087-2089 ready to go!
