Coming soon!
Format:
8 teams of 2 will compete for the EWL Cup. The season will alternate between singles and tag matches... 2 points for each singles win, and 3 for tag team wins. The wrestlers will fight each person in their division, and 3 wrestlers in the opposite one, based on the standings at the time of those cards. Each tag team card will have each team fighting twice, so that each team fights all the others, plus 3 others based on the standings.
Teams: NWA Bronx Beatdown (Eddie Kingston/Homicide) Happy Fun Time (Colt Cabana/Chuck Taylor) The Darkness (Tyler Black/Brodie Lee) House of Truth (Roderick Strong/Michael Elgin) Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) Inner Circle (Chris Jericho/AJ Styles) Light My Fire(John Morrison/Alex Shelley) New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg Jesse James/Billy Gunn)

Week 1 (singles Round 1)
BRODIE LEE* def. Chuck Taylor**** (Big Boot)
JOHN MORRISON def. Road Dogg*** (Moonlight Drive)
RODERICK STRONG* def. Homicide***** (Strong Hold) (Match of the night)
CHRIS JERICHO def. Matt Jackson* (Judas Effect)

MICHAEL ELGIN def. Nick Jackson* (Spinning Sit-out PowerBomb)
EDDIE KINGSTON def. Alex Shelley* (Backfist to the Future)
TYLER BLACK* def. Billy Gunn* (Phoenix Splash)
Notes:
- Brodie Lee demanded he be addressed as 'The Exalted One'
- Road Dogg changed his usual in-ring patter to call this 'The Last Ride of the New Age Outlaws'. Rumors in the back stated that Billy Gunn was extremely reluctant to get back into the ring without his son.
- AJ Styles was wearing his Bullet Club gear, despite having joined Jericho's Inner Circle

Week 2 (singles week 2)

HOMICIDE def. John Morrison** (Countout)

Notes:
-Tyler Black sent Brodie Lee's masked minions to the back before his match, refusing their help.
-After being a quiet observer last week, Truth Martini got involved in both his men's matches to ensure victory.
-The crowd turned hard on Road Dogg when after Matt Jackson offered his hand, he attacked him.

Week 3 (Tag)
INNER CIRCLE def. Happy Fun Time**** (Walls of Jericho)
HOUSE OF TRUTH def. NWA Bronx Beatdown***** (DQ)
LIGHT MY FIRE* def. The Darkness* (Moonlight Drive)
NEW AGE OUTLAWS***** def. Young Bucks***** (DDT) best match - 1st half
INNER CIRCLE***** def. The Darkness** (Judas Effect)
HAPPY FUN TIME**** def. Light My Fire** (Cabanarama)
YOUNG BUCKS def. NWA Bronx Beatdown** (More Bang for Your Buck)
HOUSE OF TRUTH**** def. New Age Outlaws***** (Flying Headbutt)
Notes:
-Tyler Black really is chafing at 'The Exalted Ones' antics, not sure the team can co-exist through the season.
- Light My Fire was surprisingly effective.. Alex Shelley is just a consummate tag team wrestler.
- The New Age Outlaws got thrown in here as a lark, because I love me some Road Dogg promos (even when they're fake ones that only happen in the broadcast in my head).. but they're really good, even with Road Dogg's super boring move set. Why do guys that are great on the mic always have boring moves? (I also looking at you, Roddy Piper) I may just have to keep'em around... we'll see what happens.
- OTOH, the Young Bucks (even with me upgrading the cards some) are just not. I'm using the ones from the RoH intro set. (which are slightly better the the original Legends of the Future ones). Are the ones in the 'Celebration of Honor' set better? (that one isn't high on my list, but could get higher)
-AJ Styles is still ill at ease with Jack Hager around, but winning cures alot of things.
Standings after Week 3: NWA Bronx Beatdown failed in the tag matches, leaving the Inner Circle and The House of Truth the clear front runners. Good workrate has put the Outlaws in 3rd, but that seems unlikely to hold. Everyone else is just in the pack.
House of Truth 16 pts (6-0, 2 bonus) Inner Circle 14 pts (6-0) New Age Outlaws 10 pts (3-3 3 bonus) NWA Bronx Beatdown 5 pts (2-4 1 bonus) Happy Fun Time 5 pts (2-4) Light My Fire 5 pts (2-4) Young Bucks 5 pts (1-5 2 bonus) The Darkness 4 pts (2-4)

They’ve won a lot of matches for me, but they aren’t so unbeatable (coughRoadWarriorscough)* that I sort of know the outcome of the match before I roll it. * Just kidding about the Road Warriors. Mostly. Once I get around to introducing teams like the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and the Midnight Express, I hope the field contracts a little.

Week 4 AJ STYLES def. Tyler Black** (Styles Clashx3) ** Match of the night
ROAD DOGG def. Brodie Lee* (Pump Handle Slam)
CHRIS JERICHO def. Roderick Strong* (Walls of Jericho)
ALEX SHELLEY*** def. Colt Cabana (DQ)
BILLY GUNN def. Michael Elgin (Missed flying headbutt)
EDDIE KINGSTON def. Nick Jackson*** (Sliding D)
JOHN MORRISON def. Chuck Taylor***** (CO)
----- Week 5 (CHALLENGE WEEK)
HOMICIDE def. AJ Styles (Piledriver) CHRIS JERICHO def. Eddie Kingston (DQ)
TYLER BLACK** def. Road Dogg** (Phoenix Splash) BRODIE LEE** def. Billy Gunn (Big Boot)
RODERICK STRONG*** def. Alex Shelley*** (Gibson Driver) MICHAEL ELGIN* def. John Morrison* (Deadlift Powerbomb)
COLT CABANA***** def. Matt Jackson* (DQ) NICK JACKSON***** def. Chuck Taylor (450 Splash)
Notes: -The match between old friends Alex Shelley and Roderick Strong was awesome.. one for the ages.
-The Darkness perhaps hit a low point with Mr. Brodie losing a singles match to Road Dogg, but they came back strong for challenge week... if the two can work together, they may be able to get somewhere.
-the NWA team has the same issue... they've done will, but failed last tag team card, they'll have to improve there to be a factor.
-The Bucks finally got a win, but really took a beating to do it...they have seemed outclassed so far in their attempts to fight solo
- AJ continues to refuse to wear Inner Circle gear, and had a bit of an argument with Jericho after his loss (the 1st one the team sustained). Questions they can stay on the same page long enough to stay ahead of the much more unified House of Truth abound.
Standings through Week 5:
Inner Circle 21 Points (9-1) House of Truth 20 points (8-2) New Age Outlaws 14 Points (5-5) NWA Bronx Beatdown 11 points (5-5) Light My Fire 10 points (4-6) The Darkness 9 points (4-6) Happy Fun Time 7 points (3-7) Young Bucks 7 Points (2-8)

Week 6 (Tag with Challenge Round)
LIGHT MY FIRE** def. New Age Outlaws* (Moonlight Drive)
YOUNG BUCKS******* def. Inner Circle********* (backfired interference) - MATCH OF THE ROUND
HOUSE OF TRUTH* def. The Darkness**** (Sick Kick)
HAPPY FUN TIME def. NWA Bronx Beatdown (DQ)
HOUSE OF TRUTH def. Inner Circle** (Spinning Sitout Powerbomb)
HAPPY FUN TIME*** def. Young Bucks***** (Awful Waffle x2)
LIGHT MY FIRE def. The Darkness (DQ)
NEW Bronx Beatdown** def. New Age Outlaws (DQ)
Notes:
-The Bucks have shifted into a higher gear... outting out to amazing matches, and winning one of them.. they'll need to carry through the momentum to keep out of the basement though.
-Tough week for the Inner Circle... AJ Styles seems to have had enough of JEricho... having a botched save by Jake Hager cost them a match didn't help as the House of Truth takes over the top spot.
-Homicide has gone to his ghetto fork more and more often, resulting in another loss, but a win in the 2nd match, as he was able to toss it to Road Dogg and draw the DQ win.
Standings Through Week 6:
House of Truth 26 points (10-2) Inner Circle 22 Points (9-3) Light My Fire 16 Points (6-6) NWA Bronx Beatdown 14 Points (6-6) New Age Outlaws 14 Points (5-7) Happy Fun Time 14 Points (5-7) Young Bucks 12 Points (3-9) The Darknesss 9 Points (4-8)
