Was thinking of pairing him up with RVD and calling them Top Guns, then remembered there was already a Top Guns team in the late 80's.

Wen I used black and white cards for my Rebel Wrestling fed, I paired him with Tracy Smothers as Southern Rockers. They later decided to go their separate ways, and Marty formed Can-Am Glam Rockers with J.D. Michaels managed by April Hunter. They briefly won the World Tag Team titles. Now that I'm using color cards, he teams with Jim Brunzell as Midnight Flyers.

They are both from Georgia so I was trying to think of something Georgia-relevant. Georgia Rockers, Peach State Rockers, Southern Rockers, etc. I like the Brunzell combo even better.

We think alike as I also team Marty Jannetty with Jim Brunzell and I have enjoyed using them as a tag team, but I call them the Midnight Bees (combination of Jannetty's Midnight Rockers and Brunzell's Killer Bees.) I think I am going to keep them together until we get color cards for the Killer Bees.

I was going to team Brunzell and Jannetty as Midnight Flight to make a rhyme out of their name. Similar to Midnight Flyers. Brunzell has teamed with Red Lyons as the Can Am Flyers but that team has not contended for the gold as expected so when Lyons moves on was going to pair Jannetty once he loses the cruiser title.

I really like the sound of Midnight Flight. I use Midnight Flyers for two reasons: Jannetty was in Midnight Rockers, and Brunzell was in High Flyers. Also, Midnight Flyer is the name of two great classic rock songs. One by The Eagles, and one by a band called Trapeze. I use the Trapeze song as their entrance music.

We definitely had the same creative thought process of teaming Jannetty with Brunzell and then combining the different tag team names. We both used Midnight for Jannetty from the Midnight Rockers and for Brunzell you used Flyers from the High Flyers while for Brunzell I used Bees from the Killer Bees. How have Jannetty and Brunzell done while teaming together for you?

I'm in 2130 in my GWF FED and seeing as Star Warrior II is partner-less that year and challenged by numerous individuals, Marty seemed like a good fit with him since both are rumored to like the night life. So the 'Party Patrol' was born, and they are about .500 as a tag team and are getting the fans behind them! At the very least, it is making some of my undercard more interesting and fun.
