So I'm hopeful that it looks like I'll be hanging up the phone on my previous career field (debt collections) of 13 years and getting a job as a city carrier assistant at the city post office. It's closer to home and I feel like a more secure future at the moment.
I always kind of liked the idea of becoming a mailman. I like sorting things and I get a job where I can be a little more active and get steps in. Starting from the bottom for the first time in 20 years seems strange but I have high hopes ...

I once worked in the mailing industry for a vendor called Pitney Bowes (for whom I delivered mail and computers around the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington.) I liked it and I was there for a couple of years before moving to Las Vegas in 1999 to go to graduate school. I hope you get the job!
