I just had Tommy Dreamer (bootleg, obviously) challenge Randy Savage for the World title because he won a battle royal on my big year end show. I figured this would be a nice midcard win for Savage to pad his stats, and it worked out for the show because the main event was heavily hyped World Tag Team Title match...and Dreamer won.
He's my current champion (no successful defenses yet), but I nearly broke my entire Legends fed in a WWWF breaking off from the NWA type thing over it.
The dice are funny sometimes.
