How Overmaster and Buster became feud of 2135.

I've gone back and forth about how I felt about Sudden Death 2135 and the Crime Stoppers storyline but one thing remained the same - I couldn't stand Buster. The idea of him sent me into a rage that I haven't felt since the days of Greg Valentine being an official roster member. His child like existence was just not doing it for me so there was only one thing to do - I killed him...or rather Overmaster did. On the first card of Crime Stoppers vs. Gladiators matches Overmaster did the deed, yeeting the salamander into the ringside pole ending his time in the GWF, or so I thought. GODSEND was amused by Overmaster's actions and brought Buster back, this time with a Rocket-like (Raccoon not Johnny) attitude and mouth. This infuriated Overmaster who did the deed again this time by repeating DOMINANCE over and over. GODSEND, now annoyed brought Buster back, this time with a Rocky mentality (the ball and outfit reminded me of the original film). This led to Buster trying to box Overmaster ending with the same fate as before. It became almost a game for Overmaster and has infuriated GODSEND that he refuses to stop re-animating Buster. At this point Buster has about 6 personalities (his original, Rocket, stubborn teen, Rocky, I'm getting too old for this, and a combo of all) that I roll for before matches with Crime Stoppers. Overmaster has been "fighting" with Buster for the majority of the year in some shape or form and has turned into one of my hottest storylines. It just goes to show that even the characters you don't really see anything in can surprise you if you let them. Thanks for reading.

I thought I replied to this but apparently the boards ate my post. Weird. I love this idea and I do it all the time with characters I find boring/drab. The Ultimate Fighters had a Bushwhackers gimmick to spice them up. Dark Menace ran for UFSP President. My favorite might have been Hardcore Plethador who just went around challenging everyone to special matches often with disastrous results. I think this is exactly what's meant by 'It's Your Fed Promoter!'

Great stuff. I also dig your comment "The idea of him sent me into a rage that I haven't felt since the days of Greg Valentine being an official roster member". Valentine in the GWF I just never got. Didn't like reality crossing over with the GWF universe.

Always cool to see other promoters ideas for these wrestlers ect, I actually kind of like Buster though he's not in my federation anymore.
