I bet the old cards would look good printed on the new paper.

A good amount of the B&W cards are available online if you choose to play that way. Not every card that was printed are available but most are.

This maybe a dumb question, and not meant to be offensive ... how can anything be out of stock, can’t you just reprint more?quote] Perhaps it might not be cost effective to print more of the black and white LOW sets with the transition to color for LOW? This seems like the logical reason. I don't think FG is looking to create an artificially short supply or anything like that. I'm certain things are reprinted as long as there is enough demand for them to be reprinted. But B&W sets are being phased out so presumably if they sell out, they don't look to print more.

Sorry to hijack your thread djw68 ... my recommendation would be is come up with your concept first and then pick up sets. Decide first if you want to do one fed or if you want to do territories. I would use the handy dandy "find a wrestler" feature to see if their are any B&W cards you really want as part of your fed. If there is none, I would pick up the color set starter as its printed on real good quality paper but I would see if their is any thing you really want in your fed.

This is the case, as the focus now is on the color cards, but even there not all color sets will be reprinted, although that is on the indie end of things, more so than Legends or GWF. In addition our original printer passed away a while ago and those proofs were lost with him, so reprinting is just not all that easy even if it was cost effective.

Thats actually good to know because I don't want to one day have an indy set here and there that I don't have and can't get. I could easily see that driving me up the wall some day. Better get on the Chikara stuff i guess....
