The year is 2364.  Interplanetary war within the Milky Way has left the galaxy in ruins, a once thriving federation of planets is now reduced to dystopia.  Under water and under debris, the peoples of the planet Earth find themselves trying to dig their way out.  In once what was known as the 'New England' region of the United States of Avalon, the WASTELAND as it is now referred to by its inhabitants, seems to be hanging on.  Will they survive ...

HELLO and welcome to my MONSTERS ERA federation page.  This will mark the third era for LAW (LEGENDS for the legends of Wrestling era federation and CHAMPIONS for the champions of the galaxy era federation), and will host a mix of the more hardcore, monster or wrestlers I didn't know where else fit.  Think CENTRA but set in a Dystopian future in the current timeline.  There will be four basic factions representing the "tribes" or settlements of this era (one of which is a corporate military organization ran by a Colby descendant named Cordelia Priscilla Colby)

So in addition to the Women's and Tag Team titles, this federation will also feature the Wasteland Heavyweight Championship (the top prize continuing the history from the World and Galaxian titles), the Intertribal Championship and the returning Heavy Metal Championship!

I hope to book the first card shortly but wanted to post this first.  CROWNING GLORY III (Legends Era had I and Champions Era got II), will be the premiere card and I am leaning toward doing five impossible tournaments to crown the first ever MONSTERS ERA champions.  Now I have to think who to give the shots to ...

I'm considering playing this one "live" so to speak and actually posting results in here since I kind of want to play this here and there while I am catching up with Legends & Champions. So stay tuned, if I get a moment tonight or Thursday, I'd like to crown some champions and give everyone an inside look at the LAW MONSTERS ERA!!

CROWNING GLORY III
The show begins with a historical video package detailing the history of the legends of Avalon wrestling federation. As the package concludes we fade to black before air raid sirens blare. The camera opens and reveals a packed renovated Madison Square Garden. “Ladies and gentlemen, our world has come a long way in almost three hundred years” a voice rings out from ringside. “We’ve reached out to the stars only to come crashing back down to Earth.” The camera zooms in revealing a familiar dressed figure but the voice seems slightly different, it’s Qualitar! “Despite our differences, man, woman, alien … whatever the hell you are” pointing to Death’s Head at ringside. The crowd roars, three parts laughter one part anger. “Tonight though we come back together as professional wrestling makes its return to AVALON!!!”

[NOTE: for those that don’t know, my federation takes place in an alternate timeline where a British explorer discovers the Americas first and names the continent Avalon after the King Arthur stories he grew up as a kid. When I rebooted my fed a second time in 2008 after my Grandfather past, I used the idea as we both loved history and legends like King Arthur. The MONSTERS ERA of LAW takes place in the year 2364 after a brutal intergalactic war that has left the galaxy in ruins. Planetary travel is obsolete and most of the planet Earth is either under water or under debris. The southeastern states are totally under water and the area around Washington D.C. is a radioactive wasteland. Most of the events in this federation will take place in what was once known as the New England region of the US. Avalon is now made up of four tribes/groups that are located in the former northeastern part of Canada and the former US states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and the northern parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. ]

The crowd goes nuts as we get read for the first title tournament. Qualitar makes his way to the announcers booth where he is joined by his color analyst Mangus, the destroyer of humans!

MATCH #02: Actagon easily handled Sami Callihan (+2)

LAW MONSTERS ERA 2364, CHAPTER IV
PREVIOUSLY ON ... "The war is over.  You're in the future now" a voice says as someone eyes slowly open (Colossus).  The sounds of machinery sound closer than they should be.  "We saved you" a voice says but the tone gives away there not so sure that's a good thing.  Cut to New New York City, a beautiful middle age woman stands on a balcony as soldiers bearing the CPC logo stand at attention.  She turns to her right where Janus stands proudly, the first champion of this new era.  Next to him stands the time travelling Actagon holding the Heavy Metal title.  The woman, Cordelia Colby mutters under her breath "bread and circuses" and smiles.

(NOTE: This federation is a little more extreme, there are no DQ's unless someone interferes.  There are count outs.  This federation is made up of four super factions or Vectors.  It's less of a team concept but more of a I would rather lose to someone in my vector than losing the title to another one.  Ill post the current vector factions after this.  For those unfamiliar with my style, I run sort of an NWA Power style fed.  The year is broken into ten chapters, each chapter consisting of four SHOWDOWN house shows that will feature every superstar and then a super card event.  I also play with the variant rule "to be the man you got to beat the man" which is to get a title shot you have to beat the champion first.  This has done wonders to strengthen my title history IMO, and has created a lot less flash title changes)

CARD #016: SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN
- The show kicked off with a great match between SOLDIER OF FORTUNE & VIGILANTE taking on FIRE & SOLDIER ANT.  The colony had the upper hand but watched it slip away as the Mercenaries rallied to win.
- The LAW Heavy Metal champion was out next, ACTAGON easily handled STALKER
- In the surprise of the night, TENDRON was able to outsmart VECTOR ONE
- MURDOK showed little effort in his win over the GREEN ANT
- The Main Event saw HUNGER the LAW Women's Champion defend against Guillotina in what turned out to be a shorter match than expected

CARD #017: SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN
- The opening contest saw the CONTESSA defeat SERPENTINE
- In what turned out to be a brawl through the arena, MASADA rallied and defeated the GUARDSMAN
- WHIPLASH crushed SAMI CALLIHAN
- In the match of the night, COLOSSUS was able to fend off DEATH'S HEAD
- The Main Event saw a very close match, but the LAW Tag Team Champions were too strong and RANKOR & VENTROSS stopped NIKOLAI & THRILLER

CARD #018: SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN
- The show began with Qualitar backstage talking to the SPACE MONKEY!  "You have a big match tonight against the Doomsday Creature, what are your thoughts?"  *imitation monkey noises* but he looks up for the challenge.  "Word is Creature requested this match because he said he thought you would be delicious" Qualitar says and the camera pans to the Creature holding a knife and fork and licking his lips.  The camera cuts back and we see Monkey's entire demeanor change.  He looks to Q and then back to the camera and then runs away.  Creature follows.
- SHOTZI Blackheart kicked off the show with a valiant performance and was able to stop HOLLIDEAD
- In a fun back and forth match, GRINGO LOCO & SAM ADONIS were able to take down SABOTEUR & SHYLOCK
- The next match was interesting as CANNIBAL dominated but then a bad whip to the ropes and ERICK STEVENS steals one.
- Before Cannibal could leave the ring, SPACE MONKEY was seen running through the crowd with DOOMSDAY CREATURE not too far behind.  The two finally locked up near ringside and brawled over the announcers table before taking it into the ring.  Doomsday Creature had thought it was DINNERTIME a couple times, but it was a TAIL WHIP that got the match and SPACE MONKEY was willing to celebrate his victory elsewhere as he quickly ran back through the crowd.
- The Main Event saw VAMPIRO defending the title against HOLOCAUST.  Vampiro has been able to show a lot of guts getting to where he is but was unable to withstand SHOCKWAVE and Holocaust has earned a title shot!!!

CARD #019: SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN
- The show kicked off with elaborate fanfare as the Vector Three Overman and the LAW Avalon Heavyweight Champion Janus arrives.  He announces tonight he will defeat Lance At-Las and he will go on to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Andre the Giant and enter MegaTournament as the champ and leave with the belt and the ring!
- the first match of the night saw KRIS WOLF outlast Lamiax in a great match
- HADRIAN & NERO were able to take care of all three of the Martin Boys as Samuel interfered at one point but HIRO & KRISTOFF take the loss
- Speaking of SAMUEL MARTIN, he was up next and unable to take care of the maniac JOKER.  At ringside Papa Martin looked very sad as all three of his boys suffered losses tonight.
- In a fun match, RAVEN fended off BOBBIE LEE
- And in our MAIN EVENT, LAW Avalon Champion JANUS was outdueled as LANCE AT-LAS scored the shocking pinfall and has now earned a title shot within MegaTournament!

THE LAW MONSTERS ERA is split into four vectors, like mentioned in last post it's not so much a "team effort" as it is I want the title to stay within my Vector kind of thing.

VECTOR ONE: would be the northwestern part of the territory and consists of many terrible things.  There roster includes in no particular order...

VECTOR THREE: Is the eastern coast of the area (includes Eastern NY, EASTERN PA, NJ, RI, CT, MA, NH & VT) and is run by the Colby Corporation.  Through their financial holdings they were able to bring together the remaining military power (the remnants of the Aethran project started way back in 1980 for example) and be able to unite what's left of the world.  Led by Cordelia Colby an ancestor of Vincent and Magnus Colby she has brought back the LAW in order to give the people something to look forward to while she does what ever it is she is doing in the background.  Her impressive roster contains ...
