In his return to GSW, Rick Rude defeated George South with a suplex - ★ - Bobby Heenan was over the moon with the return of the former champion to his stable.
Hillbilly Jim rolled up The Spoiler after he missed a turnbuckle charge to pick up a victory - ★★½ - The best match we've seen Hillbilly Jim wrestle. He had The Spoiler in fits!
The Dream Team made short work of The Moondogs when Greg Valentine made Moondog Rex tap out to the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK - ★ - After the match, Lucious Johnny V demanded a match for the titles against the Bulldogs.
In the Main Event, Randy Savage picked up a DQ win over Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase when Virgil stormed the ring to break up a pinfall - ★ - After the bell, DiBiase and Virgil continued beating on Randy Savage until Lanny Poffo ran to the ring to make the save!

GSW 141 - Wrestling Challenge from Golden State Studios, Burbank, CA. - March 23, 1980
Million Dollar Corporation beat Randy Savage & Lanny Poffo when Ted DiBiase covered Lanny Poffo after an elbow off the ropes - ★ - After the match, Savage, who'd not been able to tag in, attacked DiBiase and the two needed to be separated by other wrestlers in the back. Later it was announced that the two would face each other in the Steel Cage Match at GSW 142 - Main Event Wrestling.
King Kong Bundy beat Tom 'Rocky' Stone with the ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE - ★★★ - What a match! Tom Stone fought like hell and shocked Bundy and Bobby Heenan by kicking out of Bundy's Five Count! Stone lost the match but the fans are now solidly behind him.
The Powers of Pain beat The Mulkey Brothers when Barbarian pinned Brian Mulkey after a Power Plex - ★ - The Mulkeys got in a few licks but the Powers of Pain were just too powerful. Mr. Fuji was pleased and warned The British Bulldogs that their days as champs are coming to a close.
Cowboy Bob Orton used a SUPERPLEX to beat George 'The Animal' Steele in a short match - ★ - After the match, Orton said he was looking forward to seeing his friend Piper take the title from Harley Race and that he'd be at ringside to see it happen. And keep an eye on Heenan!
In the Main Event, Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff beat The Killer Bees when Iron Sheik locked B. Brian Blair in the CAMEL CLUTCH - ★★ - After the bell all four men continued to brawl! This matter is not settled by a long shot!

GSW 142 - Main Event Wrestling from Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA - March 29, 1980
Leaping Lanny Poffo picked up a DQ victory over Big John Studd when the action spilled out of the ring and Studd refused to stop beating on Poffo - ★★★ - Before the finish, Poffo had been frustrating Studd with a lighting quick offense. Heenan is hoping the after match beatdown will be the finish of Poffo once and for all.
The Killer Bees beat Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff in a wild 2 out of 3 Falls Match - ★★★★
Order of Falls:
1. Iron Sheik made Jim Brunzell submit in seconds to the Abdominal Stretch.
2. B. Brian Blair put Iron Sheik out with a SLEEPER
3. B. Brian Blair (wearing a mask and illegally in the ring) again put Iron Sheik out with a SLEEPER
After the match, Nikolai Volkoff argued with the ref that Blair was illegally in the ring, but it fell on def ears. The fans LOVED this result.
Randy Savage beat Ted DiBiase escaping the cage after a FLYING ELBOW SMASH during a Steel Cage Match - ★★★
The British Bulldogs (with Captain Lou Albano) retained the Western Tag Team Championship over The Dream Team when Dynamite Kid pinned Greg Valentine after a superplex - ★★★½ - Super fun match that had the crowd on the edge of their seat. There were wild celebrations after the Bulldogs retained.
In a wild Main Event, Harley Race retained the Western Heavyweight Championship via DQ when Rowdy Roddy Piper used a FOREIGN OBJECT - ★★★★½ - This is an absolute Match of the Year contender. Bobby Heenan got involved but was incapacitated after a tumble over the top rope. Cowboy Bob Orton got involved. There was brawling inside and outside of the ring! Race ran from the ring with his belt as Piper challenged him to come back and fight!

As much as I enjoy watching your gameplay videos, sometimes the free time isn't there... So, I'm really happy to see written summaries for the past few events.
Big win for the Macho Man inside the cage, possibly ending his feud with the Million $ Man on a high note... The Bulldogs are looking strong with the tag belts... And Handsome Harley gets lucky in his title defense against Hot Rod... Awesome stuff!
