Somewhere near Maxus space...

Nemesis, representing the new group WarGame Aces, as well as co-owner Mace, stood in the ring with a wide grin on his face. There was no need for him to hold a microphone because the technology available in WAAF makes holding microphones obsolete. He addressed the crowd:

"Mace is letting me have the honor of letting everyone know who the final member of the WarGame Aces. So I ask you: Who in the entire universe would send shockwaves not only through every Aethran, but shockwaves through the entire wrestling universe? No, he isn't the one that all the dirt sheets have predicted when they said 'WOLF'! No, they were 'crying wolf' (groans from the crowd at the lame joke) when they reported that.

"Somebody even better than that! No need to explain who it is, and need to delay this much longer. I give you --

"THUNDERRRRRR!!"

The audience collectively all gasped...

BOOM went the pyro-technics and the air filled with lightning! Out from the back slowly strode one of the greatest Gladiator legends ever, accompanied by his manager, Thrash! Once they finally reached the ring, the three celebrated like Hogan did when forming the nWo as the famed "third member"! Garbage was being thrown into the ring at an alarming rate! How the crowd did not riot at this point is still a mystery!

Thunder called out:  "Nemesis, my friend! A new day has dawned in Aethran wrestling history! WarGames will be just like the start of a new Civil War, a war MY side won the last time it happened, if you remember correctly! I wasn't on the losing side then, and I don't intend on being on the losing side now! Let's go now, and let these great fans of ours soak up our awesomeness and they will witness how we will dictate and dominate from this point forward!

"And Aethran Taskmaster? THIS is what you get when you turn your back on a fellow Aethran! You turned your back on Nemesis, and you turned your back on me! For that, you must PAY!!"

With that, the three left the ring. What a truly exciting moment just happened, one that will be talked about for decades to come!

Revile was already geared up before the bell, and he got DQed to lose early here.

The Aethran Taskmaster was in the ring. It was time to reply to the MEGA-twist from the last fight card in which it was revealed that Mace had secured the services of Aethran Legend THUNDER as the final member of WarGame Aces. Surprisingly, the Taskmaster had a smile on his face. Unsurprisingly, it looked like a very much FORCED smile. He related:

"Thunder... I'm happy for you. No, I mean that. You had been a true legend in this sport, a role model, and someone I always looked up to. I'm happy now that all your accomplishments are gone now, erased from Aethran history like you were never born.

"You are a traitor to your own people. No matter what lies you spin to make you feel better, no matter what you tell yourself in order to be able to sleep at night, you know it's all over.

"But I'm not going to retaliate or set a bounty on you. I'm not going to tell you that 'when you least expect it, expect it'. And I'm not going to block you from your livelihood of wrestling. At least, not yet. You've got an opportunity to still impress me: In the WarGames scoring tallies, just don't be the lowest point-scorer on your team. Do that, and as I had agreed with Mace, you can stay in this fed. If you don't -- and this isn't a veiled threat mind you... you will face the punishment that awaits all Aethran traitors, scum, and villainy such as yourself!

W.A.R. And Aethran Federation CARD 13:
Somewhere near Maxus space...

Thunder was escorted to the ring by a large number of security guards in riot gear. Once he reached the ring, he had this to say:

"My fellow Aethrans: It was with deep regret that I left the Aethran fatherland when I did. It was not an easy decision for me, but I made the correct choice for me at the time.

"You see... The Aethran Taskmaster is wrong when he says that the W.A.R. team is going to lose. I've wrestled against Mace in the past, I see who is on his side, and there can only be one conclusion: W.A.R. will win the WarGames, and I didn't want to squander this opportunity to side idly by on the sidelines and not participate.

"I contacted Nemesis and offered my help. He wasn't about to turn down such a golden opportunity. It's time to prove that I still have a lot left in the tank, and prove you wrong about Nemesis!

Mace had glum look on his face. He began with, "You know, I was thinking that the WAAF shouldn't have any fight cards that don't have a least one 'Title Bout' on them. We have no Title Bout tonight, so I am glad you fans showed up!

"So I also thought that if the Aethrans could have a Gladiators Belt, with only other Aethrans wrestling for it, then why shouldn't W.A.R. have its own Belt with only non-Aethrans wrestling for it?

"I realize that doesn't sound too 'PC', but with that in mind, there will be a tournament for this new Belt on the next fight card! It will be a Belt in which pinfalls count anywhere, and it will be a Belt defended twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week! Fans, I give you the 'WAAF 24/7 Belt'!"

Mace held up the WAAF 24/7 Belt for all to see! He then concluded, "Be here next fight card as history is going to be made and a new WAAF Champion will be crowned!!"

With Spark Chaser in the ring, and Boulderdash on the viewscreen, the night began.

"It's time," Chaser said. "You want to prove you're this great Gladiator destined to rule? Prove it to me... if you've got the guts!"

Boulderdash smiled and paused. "Now where's your sporting spirit? Let's make this interesting: Since I've proven my physical superiority already in the ring, let's run a lap around this arena on the outside, and have a ten-minute match right after? Winner participates in the Battle Royal next card that will be for the Number One Contenders which will then happen at the Pay-Per-View... and the loser does not participate AT ALL?"

Spark Chaser thought a moment. He replied, "As long as this match doesn't count in the record books, nor toward the WarGames Tallies, I'm fine with that."

"Well then," Boulderdash said, already outside the arena, "Let's start! Get your worthless carcass out here!"

However, maybe it's time that I put my money where my mouth is: How about you get three of the other goons you call 'friends' and wrestle against me and my comrades here in a 'Here Come the Gladiators' match at the 'Locically Insane' Pay-Per-View coming up next card? This way, it'll prove to you and the rest of these mouth-breathers that the Gladiators are the most dominant wrestlers this sport has to offer?"

Spark Chaser appeared on the arena's giant viewscreen. "You know, even though I realize you are laying a trap for me and my friends, I can't resist a good challenge. I accept the terms of the match.
