Despite my enjoyment of SSB, Ringkampf is my pick so glad to see them advance. OGK will be a tough battle though.

VIU Cup Day 3 presented by VWA evening (Second Half of show, First Half is posted above)
Match #4: Open the Vegas Gate Champion Zack Sabre Jr. and Tommy End defeated Birds of Prey in a D Bracket Sweet Sixteen match
- This was a great Sweet Sixteen match. Birds of Prey nearly won multiple times as they forced ZSJ and End to survive 7 pin attempts but ZSJ and End advanced when ZSJ put away Robbie Eagles via ORIENTEERING WITH NAPALM DEATH.
Match #5: ROE Tag Team Champions Aussie Open defeated Best Friends in a D Bracket Sweet Sixteen match
- Best Friends controlled almost this entire match but Aussie Open shocked Chuck Taylor and Beretta when Kyle Fletcher got a reversal and then immediately hit Beretta with a sitout powerbomb for the victory.
- As a result, Aussie Open- who won last year's VIU Cup- have advanced to the Elite Eight where they will take on Open the Vegas Gate Champion Zack Sabre Jr. and Tommy End.
Match #6: "Cowboy" James Storm defeated Nigel McGuinness in a beer bottle smash ladder match
- The rules of this match was that a wrestler had to climb a ladder to grab a bottle of beer hanging above the ring and this match could not be won until the beer bottle was first smashed over somebody's head.
- Storm and McGuinness traded offense including some attacks with the ladder on each other until Storm was the one to climb the ladder and grab the bottle of beer after giving McGuinness a LAST CALL that sent him through the ropes and out of the ring.
- But before Storm could use the beer bottle on McGuinness, the Wild Cards appeared with beer bottles which they tried to hand off to McGuinness. Storm however went out of the ring and smashed Thom Latimer and Royce Isaacs with their own beer bottles and then returned to the ring to hit McGuinness with BEER BOTTLE SMASH with the bottle of beer that had been floating over the ring. Storm then got the 3 count to win this grudge match.
End of Second Half. End of Day 3. Day 4, the final day, is next.

Well, I'm not happy about OGK getting ousted in the quarterfinals... But, there's no denying the caliber of the teams in the Final Four... At this stage, I'll say Briscoes over Aussie Open to win the Cup. Reach for the sky, boy!
