The show comes on the air with a shot of Joey Styles wearing a black suit and white dress shirt in front of an ECW backdrop. He has a microphone in hand. He sees that the camera is on him and then begins to speak.
Joey Styles: Welcome everyone to another edition of ECW Hardcore TV. Last week when we went off the air we saw Rob Van Dam and “The Man Beast” Rhino brawl out of the ECW Arena into the parking lot. What we are going to show you is exclusive footage of what happened when we went off the air. Let’s roll the footage!
We see Rhino and Rob Van Dam in the parking lot. They are trading punches back and forth. Eventually Rhino gets the advantage and grabs Rob by the back of the head and slams him into a blue parked car. He then picked him up and shoved him on the roof of the car. That is when Rhino gave Rob Van Dam a piledriver onto the roof of the car. The shot then goes back to Joey Styles.
Joey Styles: Tonight we are going to see Rob Van Dam and Rhino fight for a chance to become ECW World Heavyweight champion when they battle in a first round match in the ECW World championship tournament. Before that, we are going to go to the ring for a first round match in the ECW Television championship tournament when we see “The Enforcer” C.W. Anderson takes on Petey Williams! Let’s go to the ring!
Match # 01 - ECW Television Championship Tournament First Round Match - C.W. Anderson -versus- Petey Williams
Match Notes - The match started off with Anderson and Williams going face to face. Anderson shoved Petey. Petey gave Anderson a stiff chop and then put him in a side headlock. Later on in the match C.W. Anderson gave Petey Williams a stalling vertical suplex. After a near fall, he picked up Williams and tossed him into the ropes. He gave Petey Williams a Spinebuster for the pin and the win.
Winner - C.W. Anderson
[Commercial Break]Back from the commercial break we go to Bill Alphonso who is with Rob Van Dam and Sabu in their dressing room. Sabu is sitting on a chair and Rob Van Dam is standing in front of the camera. Rob Van Dam smiles and then speaks.
Rob Van Dam: Rhino, tonight we fight for a chance to be ECW World Heavyweight champion. Now, you might have hurt my neck and spine when you pile drived me on that car last week, but don’t think you’ve seen the last of me. I am “The Whole F***ing Show!” and you don’t put Rob Van Dam out of action that easily. I hope you’re ready because tonight is going to be a war!
The shot then goes onto Bill Alphonso who is wearing a black shirt with a matching hat. He blows his whistle and then begins to talk.
Bill Alphonso: Rhino, Rob Van Dam is going to kick your ass tonight! He’s the next ECW World Heavyweight champion. Then we have this man! [The shot then goes onto Sabu who stands up from his chair.] He is the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Sabu! Super Crazy you are in for a beating because Sabu is going to beat you and become ECW Television champion. I am the manager of champions and I am going to guide my men to victory! [He then blows his whistle again as the shot goes back to Joey Styles.]
Joey Styles: Well up next after the commercial break we are going to see two great competitors make their ECW debuts as they compete in the ECW Television championship tournament. It’s “The Retrosexual” Anthony Greene taking on Brian Pillman Jr! Don’t change that channel!
[Commercial Break.]Match # 02 - Brian Pillman Jr. -versus- “The Retrosexual” Anthony Greene in a ECW Television Championship Tournament
Match Notes - The two had a great back and forth match with a lot of near falls. They brawled a bit on the floor where at one point Brian Pillman Jr. whipped Greene into the steel guardrail. Back in the ring Greene went for a piledriver but Brian Pillman Jr. back dropped him out of it. Pillman picked him up and went for a DDT but Greene grabbed him and hit a Shaker Heights Spike to advance to the next round in the ECW Television championship tournament.
Winner: “The Retrosexual” Anthony Greene
After the match, with both men on their feet, Pillman stuck his hand out for Greene to shake. Greene paused for a minute and then slapped him across the face before exiting the ring and walking back up the aisle to the backstage area. Pillman was pissed at that and attacked him when Greene was halfway up the aisle. The two brawled to the backstage area. The shot then went back to Joey Styles.
Joey Styles: Well that isn’t the last we’ve seen of those two. Now I’d like to remind you that ECW is going back on the road with two big shows this weekend. We will have a show on Saturday night in Detroit, Michigan with a bell time of 8pm. Then on Sunday will be a special afternoon show in Poughkeepsie, New York with a bell time of 2pm. If you’re in the area for either of these shows you will not want to miss them! If you can’t make it to the shows but still want to see the action, you will be able to order the Fan Cam versions on DVD from our website! Now we are going to go to a commercial break but when we come back we are going to see Sabu take on Super Crazy in an ECW Television championship tournament match! Don’t you dare go away!

Match # 03 - ECW Television Championship Tournament First Round Match - Sabu -versus- Super Crazy
Match Notes - The match started off with Super Crazy putting Sabu in a headlock. The match quickly went to the floor where the two fought in the crowd a bit. Back at ringside, Super Crazy tossed Sabu into the guard rail. He then hit a moonsault to the floor that got the fans on their feet. Sabu then fought back and tossed Super Crazy back in the ring. He gave him a piledriver and then tossed him back onto the floor. Sabu then took this opportunity and hit a Triple Jump Moonsault for the pin and the win.
Winner - Sabu
The shot then went back to Joey Styles.
Joey Styles: Well, Sabu with a huge victory here over Super Crazy. Sabu moves onto the next round. He will face the winner of the Chri$ Ca$h, that’s right, Chri$ Ca$h will be making his debut next week when he faces “The New F’n Show” Jerry Lynn! You will not want to miss that match next week between those two! Now we are going to go to a video sent to us by “The Big Valbowski” Val Venis. Roll the footage!
The shot then opens in a washroom. We can see that the room is steamy. We see Val Venis pop his head from behind a shower curtain. He laughs and then starts to speak.
Val Venis: Come on baby, the water is nice, hahaha.
We then see the back of a blonde woman and she drops the white towel that was around her and enters the running shower.
Val Venis: Extreme Championship Wrestling, “The Big Valbowski” is getting ready for Extreme Heat. August 23rd, Val Venis is coming to ECW and I am going to get all the ladies! Hahaha.
The shot then goes back to Joey Styles.
Joey Styles: Well, we are going to go to our final commercial break, but when we come back we have our main event. It’s Rob Van Dam taking on Rhino in the ECW World championship tournament!

Match # 04 - Rob Van Dam -versus- Rhino in a ECW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Match
Match Notes - The two wrestlers start off going nose to nose. Rhino punches Van Dam and the match starts. They end up on the floor and brawl all around the ring. Back in the ring, Rhino went for a GORE but Rob Van Dam moved - sending Rhino shoulder first into the steel post. Rob Van Dam then grabbed him and gave him a piledriver for a near fall. Rob Van Dam grabbed him and hit him with a Van Daminator for the pin and the win!
Winner - Rob Van Dam
The shot then goes back to Joey Styles.
Joey Styles: Rob Van Dam with a victory here over Rhino. I have received word that next week we will see the conclusion of the ECW World Championship tournament. We are going to see 2 Cold Scorpio take on his former tag team partner, The Sandman and we will see “The Franchise” Shane Douglas taking on Rob Van Dam. Who will walk out with the ECW World Heavyweight champion?! We will find out next week here on ECW Hardcore TV!
PROMO TIME!
The shot then goes to Justin Credible and “The Queen of Extreme” Francine. Francine is sitting on a white couch and Justin Credible has his Singapore cane in hand. He sees that the camera is on him and then begins to speak.
Justin Credible: Shane Douglas, you got lucky. You getting lucky means… well, I didn’t. I am going to get that belt though because I… oh so need it!
The shot then goes to C.W. Anderson who is standing in front of a row of red lockers. He speaks.
C.W. Anderson: Petey Williams, I showed you that you can’t beat an Anderson! I am going to become the ECW Television champion and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
We then see Roadkill and Danny Doring standing in front of a barn, somewhere in the country.
Danny Doring: Roadkill and I will be your next ECW Tag Team champions. We never lost the belts and we will once again have those straps around our waists!
Roadkill: CHICKENS!
The shot then goes backstage where we see Petey Williams walking with his bags as he is about to leave the arena for the night. He then runs into Dawn Marie, who is wearing a red dress. She sees him and then begins to speak.
Dawn Marie: Petey, I am sorry you lost your match tonight. The thing is though, if you had me by your side, you’d never lose again. So I have a proposition for you…
Petey Williams smiles and the two walk out of the ECW Arena together as the show then goes off the air.
Next episode is going to be better.
