I'm trying to print cards I've found here (Slymm's amazing Ron Simmons for example) and I just can't get it to print right. I'm using an HP 5660. When I print the front, it comes out of the printer facing me, upside down, on the bottom right corner of the page. No matter which way I flip the page, it prints the back on another section of the page or upside down. I've been trying for a long time and have run out of ideas. Any help you guys could provide would be awesome!

I usually have to print one page, run over, flip the page and then print page 2.

I end up having to do two pages, but I laminate my cards, so it’s not very noticeable.

Yeah man, if you use those Ultra covers, just print out two pages and slip them in. Otherwise...Idk man I have the 2630, and havn't at all had that problem with those, or most other cards and i print a TON of cards (my 5 year old son loves them). They seem to be set up at default pretty well. Let me go load up mine and see what the settings are, maybe we can find something in that to help you

Are you printing from a pdf file? Is the file you are printing from set up with 4 to a page? If not, check to see if your pdf print setting is for 4 to a page. If it is, change it to print single page, actual size. That should print it centered on the paper. Then note how it is oriented and load the paper back in so it will come out the same way. It may take a trial or two to get it right. Hope this helps.

It's a lot easier too if you print by page. So print page one then put the paper back in and print page two. It's take trial by error to figure out the right way to feed it in, it depends on how your print pulls the paper.

I'll print the front page, put a small "X" in pencil on the bottom of that page, and then flip the page. That way, if I screw up, I can remember which end/side I put in first.
Do you have a print shop near you, or can you find one that will do mail orders? That's what I do most of the time, as my experiences with home printers are usually disastrous.

That's exactly what I do too, especially when I get a different printer. I also check my printer margins and make sure it's printing 100% to size (actual size). Most home printers today are crap anyways, so they probably won't print exact anyway. That's just the facts of life.

Oh yeah I just take them to Kinko's and print on nice cardstock.
