I fell asleep while sitting on my couch (I think I am getting old lol) and missed the Legends Q and A. I knew about the announced signings for Ranger Ross and Brickhouse Brown (2 years ago at Galacticon in Pittsburgh I actually picked up a DVD of Brickhouse TV from the free DVD table because I knew Brickhouse Brown was signed) since both of them happened at the CAC here in Las Vegas and I am glad to hear the Briscos are signed too. I remember Brickhouse Brown's speech at the CAC, it was very emotional as he talked about having a terminal condition (I also remember someone emotionally telling Brickhouse Brown "you are going to kick out at 2, that's what we do.") Looking forward to all 4 of these announced LOW names getting released! Only paid partial attention to LOW discussion yesterday as I was playing games with the crew I was with and am still kinda shaky on all the LOW chatter. I have really tried to get into legends but just can't seem to get the feds past launch.  However, on Friday night, I (after being goaded by my son) ordered the color starter set...so, here's fingers crossed that the fed goes somewhere this time. Unfortunately I am not a Ryder fan and never seemed to figure out his appeal... the whole "woo-woo-woo" gimmick is just kinda...well..meh to me. But hey...if someone likes him and is excited- more power to them... However...Brickhouse Brown is a great sign IMO as I have met him back in WCCW days. Brown and "Iceman" King Parsons used to tag as the Blackbirds I believe (I used their name for Nexus/Boxer in my GWF fed back in the day) and were great rivals for Lance Von Erich/Brian Adidas. The Brisco Brothers are a huge signing... I will have to research some of their matches to gain a better appreciation of their talent though because I am not a huge mark for the pre-rock and wrestling era. Onto GWF, I am excited about the different sets that are being discussed and Matador of M83 looks bad ass!!!! But my question wasn't seen or ignored by tigersamurai..so i will ask here- Swarm are there (or any hope for) my favorite amphibian Plethador in making the Kronos timeline? Stick him into the transevolver and make him into a battletoad... with a little tweaking, he would be upper lower talent (in my fed, Plethador went a little mental atm and is a fun character to run) Anyway, it was a blast talking to everyone yesterday and I will be more active today as I am at home by myself. |

And once it gets released I hope Chad Olson shares the story about who was signed but told him we can't use his WWE likeness, and from the sounds of it we wouldn't want it anyhow. I know there's been some bad gimmicks but who's is so bad we wouldn't want it? Hector Guerrero/Gobbledy Gooker? Tony Anthony/TL Hopper? Doesn’t The Goon fit the bill, with Bill Irwin just being released too?! |

The panel starts and I saw about 1/8 of your face and part of your elbow. My first thought is "Holy cow! Zeke is dead!" I don't know why I went there. As the discussion went on, I kept checking on you, and then you moved. I was very happy you were only napping! |
