I fell asleep while sitting on my couch (I think I am getting old lol) and missed the Legends Q and A. I knew about the announced signings for Ranger Ross and Brickhouse Brown (2 years ago at Galacticon in Pittsburgh I actually picked up a DVD of Brickhouse TV from the free DVD table because I knew Brickhouse Brown was signed) since both of them happened at the CAC here in Las Vegas and I am glad to hear the Briscos are signed too. I remember Brickhouse Brown's speech at the CAC, it was very emotional as he talked about having a terminal condition (I also remember someone emotionally telling Brickhouse Brown "you are going to kick out at 2, that's what we do.") Looking forward to all 4 of these announced LOW names getting released! Zeke, you were my highlight of the LOW panel! You were at the bottom center in my grid view of the attendees. The panel starts and I saw about 1/8 of your face and part of your elbow. My first thought is "Holy cow! Zeke is dead!" I don't know why I went there. As the discussion went on, I kept checking on you, and then you moved. I was very happy you were only napping! LOL the spirit of Steve Minskoff possessed Zeke like a Black Death character and took his traditional Gcon nap.

Yeah, Smoke's been too awake this year to qualify.
I'm super excited about what's coming down the line. Don't even care now who it is, just enjoying knowing that we've got great wrestlers to fit into feds and it's never been a better time to be a LOW fan.
(Also, I'm nearly as excited for Ross and Brown as I am the Briscos)

Now that I’m over the initial shock of yesterday’s announcement (ha, ha), I have to say that it’s always fantastic when the game signs someone the caliber of Jack Brisco. He was on my top ten wish list.
Funny thing is, I’ve been watching old Mid-Atlantic shows from ‘83 when the Briscoes and Steamboat/Youngblood were feuding for the tag titles and I found myself wishing they were in the game. Gerald was actually pretty funny as a cocky little sh*t. There was a promo segment where he kept pushing Steamboat who eventually dropped him cold with a back-fist. It was the funniest thing I’ve seen in wrestling in a long time. And it was from nearly forty years ago. Lol.
So for me this announcement was very appropos. Can’t wait see the cards when released!

I sat back on the couch during the break after the Indy Q and A and fell asleep on camera in the middle of the afternoon. When I woke up I missed the LOW Q and A, all the afternoon tournaments, and the auction (which was just finishing.) After I logged in this morning, I did not even turn on the camera today as I was worried I might somehow fall asleep again.

After today's announcements, I'm not even thinking about all the cards I want; I'm thinking about the cards I'll be getting! This completely expresses how I feel about all the announcements, too!

Gerry was a fantastic heel, with big brother Jack standing behind him.

Getting the Briscos is awesome and adds even more to the incredible roster in Legends. To have official cards for names like Thesz, Brisco, and Race just gives such credibility to a great game if you know the history of pro wrestling.

The Matador? The Red Rooster? Also could be Ricky Steamboat, with the silly dragon wings.... Ok, it just hit me... I now have an official guess. I will guess that the signing is Terry Funk, and the gimmick that we can't (and wouldn't want to) use is Chainsaw Charlie. I'm guessing this, because it would make me so happy to get Terry Funk and Jack Brisco the same year.
