Texas Heavyweight Title: David Von Erich d Jimmy Garvin by countount in 15:44. This was a brutal match where both men hit their finisher multiple times. David won the match but will be working hurt for 8 weeks.
A rematch has already been signed for next week and we’ll also have a Texas tag team title match with the Freebirds defending against the Fantastics!

Mid-South Card #2
Abdullah Farouk is standing in the ring as the show opens. He announces that he has acquired the services of the toughest man in wrestling today. Scott Norton walks to the ring and begins to trash the competition in the UFW. He says no one is tough enough to meet him one on one. Finlay steps onto the ramp and screams that he’ll kick Norton’s ass next week. The match is signed.
Mr. Fuji d Jody Fleisch by Disqualification when Fuji tried to throw salt in Jody’s face. Jody saw it coming and managed to knock the salt into Fuji’s eyes.
Jay Lethal d Kenny King after hitting the LETHAL INJECTION 3 times. After the match, Lethal was so frustrated that King kicked out, he continued the assault after the match was over. He wouldn’t stop until the referee threatened to have him suspended.
The Conways d Biff Busick and Beer City Brawler by DQ when rammed Tiger Sr’s head into the corner post.

Welcome to Dibiase’s Delight. A new segment in talk show format starring the Mid-South heavyweight champion, Ted Dibiase.
Dibiase: I’m standing here with the most underrated team in the Mid-South, The Bravado Brothers, Harlem and Lancelot. Welcome gentlemen.
Lancelot: Thanks Ted. We’re here to claw our way up the ladder and we’ll destroy anyone who gets in our way. That includes that sorry excuse for a team and sorrier excuse for a family, the Conways. Daddy should’a taught his kid how to actually wrestle before he let him get in the ring.
While Bravado is talking, the Conways walk into view and they start challenging the Bravados. Dibiase seems to be tired of losing control. He adjusts the glove he’s wearing and hits Tiger Conway Jr. In the back of the head. He goes down like he was shot and the Bravados focus on Sr.
Dibiase is keeping officials at bay and laughing hysterically as the Bravados pummel Tiger Conway Sr without mercy.
Steve Williams d Yokozuna. Doc actually managed to get his huge opponent up for an Oklahoma Stampede for the win!
Mr. Fuji is in the interview area. He says that Jody Fleisch is a terrible wrestler who has to cheat to win and he challenges him to a re-match next week. Fleisch quickly accepts.
Mid-South Tag Team Title- The Bravados d The Sheepherders to win the championship when Harlem Bravado hit Luke Williams with the gentlemen’s agreement.
Steve “Doctor Death” Williams is in the interview area. He says that no one can stop him and only one man can stand with him. That man is Ted Dibiase and they’re going to be the most dominant force in the business.
Mid-South Title Match: Champion lost to John Cena by DQ when he wouldn’t stop strangling Cena in the ropes.
Next week World Champion Harley Race will be here!

Card #3 Continental
Brian Kendrick d Paul London with a rolling front cradle. The two men aren’t done fighting and they brawl all over the ringside area and even into the interview area before they are separated.
Super Crazy d Shyrndon with a Triple Moonsault. After the match Super Crazy takes the mic and starts addressing his spanish fans. David Shultz comes out and tells him that since he’s in America he needs to speak english or he needs to shut up. Crazy tells Shultz to shut up in halting english and the two men start brawling.
David Shultz d Timothy Thatcher with the 2nd rope elbowsmash. As Shultz’s hand gets raised, Super Crazy hits the ring and the two men continue to brawl. It takes the entire locker room to break up the fight.
Orange Cassidy d Brad Armstrong with the Orange Squeeze.
Adrian Street vs Tyler Black ended in a double disqualification when both men struck the referee in the heat of battle.
Walter d Gorilla Monsoon with the Gojira Clutch. Walter punished Gorilla like few ever have. Monsoon will be wrestling hurt for about 6 weeks.
Curt Hennig is in the interview area. He makes it very clear that he does not plan to leave tonight without the Continental belt around his waist.
Continental Tag Title- Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens d War Machine by DQ when Hanson threw Ray Stevens over the top rope. The champions retain the titles.
Continental Title- Bob Armstrong d Curt Hennig with the Georgia Jawjacker. Bob Armstrong retains the title.

The Superstars d Rich Swan and TJ Perkins when Masked Superstar #2 pinned Swan with the backbreaker.

Jushin Liger d Pinkie Sanchez with the Fisherman’s Buster.
Dasher Hatfield d DJZ with the grandslam. This was a thrilling match. Both men left everything they had in the ring. 13 fatigue tokens accumulated between them.
The Quebecers d Owen and Teddy Hart with the tower of Quebec on Teddy. After the match, the Quebecers continued their assault and hit the Tower of Quebec on Owen as well.
Georgia Tag Team Title Match: The Faces of Fear d The Can-Am Connection when they hit the Backdrop into Powerbomb on Phil Lafon
Georgia Title Match: Tommy Rich retained the Georgia Title against Paul Orndorff with an elbow smash. Tommy Rich will be working hurt for about 7 weeks.

We open with a taped interview with world champion Harley Race. Race says he’s the very best wrestler in the world and guys like Ric Flair think they can beat him but no one has been able to do it yet. The next time he’s in the Carolinas, Race says he’ll show Flair who “The Man,” is once and for all.
Pete Dunne d George South with the Bitter End
Dunne grabs the mic from Gordon Solie as he climbs in the ring. Dunne spends his interview time talking about all the tobacco stains on the floor and how no one in the state of North Carolina has an ounce of class. He also says he’ll show every wrestler in the territory what class means.
Boris Zhukov d BJ Whitmer with the Diving Head Butt after a hard fought match. Boris is frustrated that Whitmer gave him such a tough fight so he keeps up the attack. Whitmer fights back and the two men brawl in the ring and at ringside until the locker room empties to break it up.
Bobby Fish dominated Jimmy Snuka before picking up the win with Chasing the Dragon.
PJ Black d Brian Milonas with a Missile Dropkick
The American Wolves d The Koloffs when Eddie Edwards pinned Ivan Koloff with the Die Hard

Ron Garvin d Delirious with Hands of Stone. After the match Garvin stays in the ring while the announcer brings him a mic. Garvin says he’s proven he’s the toughest man in St. Louis. While he’s talking Yukon Eric walks to the ring and takes exception to that statement. The two start arguing and a match between them is signed for next week.
Dick Hutton and Bob Orton Sr. D The Mongols when Hutton locked Bepo in the Abdominal Stretch.
Jimmy Hart is in the interview area and he introduces his new men. Dick the Bruiser and the Crusher.
Willam Muldoon d The French Angel with the Body lift and throw. Angel took a ton of punishment before losing. He finished with 10 fatigue tokens.
The Vachons d The Love Brothers when Butcher hit the Hangman on Hartford.
John Pesek d Pepper Gomez with the Tiger Man Toehold. This was a hard fought match where both men left it all in the ring. John Pesek will wrestle hurt for about 6 weeks.
Delirious has announced that he’s hired Mademoiselle Rochelle as his manager.
Missouri Tag Team Title Match: Champions: The Flying Redheads vs Dick the Bruiser and The Crusher (managed by Jimmy Hart) went to a double disqualification when all four men started brawling and the illegal men would not go to their corners. A rematch has been announced for next week.

Mid-South Card #9
The show opens with an interview with the World Tag Champion Tolos brothers. It’s being shot from the location of their next title defense, Hamburg, Germany. John Tolos there are teams that think they’re worthy of title consideration, such as Ted Dibiase and Steve Williams. John assures the audience that Doc and Dibiase are not such a team.
John Cena d Mike Quackenbush when Mike tried a flying bodypress from the top rope but Cena managed to use his momentum to roll through it and get the pin.
Mr. Fuji d Jody Fleisch in a short but exciting match. Fuji thew salt in Fleish’s eyes and tried to take it out of the ring. Fleisch countered with a wall run moonsault but Fuji recovered quickly and hit the Banzai drop for the win.
Josh Woods d Beer City Bruiser with Chaos Theory.
Scott Norton w/Abdullah Farouk vs Fit Finlay. Finlay is disqualified when he hits Norton with a chair. After the bell rings, Finlay is celebrating like he won. Norton gets to his feet and Farouk hands him something. He hit’s Finlay in the back of the head with the foreign object and steps over the near-lifeless Finlay as he walks out of the ring. Finlay will be wrestling hurt for about 4 weeks.
Welcome to Dibiase’s Delight. The forum for the man who thinks he’s the best wrestler in the world to speak his mind with other competitors. Today’s guest: Steve “Dr. Death” Williams. While Dibase is talking about how easy it will be to defeat the smelly, backwards Sheepherders tonight, The New Zealanders come out to confront them. Luke Williams is yelling that two stupid americans can beat the Sheepherders. While the confrontation is happening, Yokozuna come out of nowhere and attacks Doc and Dibiase. The 3 on 2 fight continues until John Cena hits the scene to even the odds. The matchmaker immediately signs a 6 man match for next week!
The Conways d The Bravados when Tiger Jr. pinned Lancelot with a belly-to-belly suplex. After the match the Bravados attacked the Conways and the four men fought all the way to the locker room.
Steve Williams and Ted Dibiase d The Sheepherders when Doc pinned Butch with the Oklahoma Stampede. Butch was severely injured and may be unable to wrestle for a while.
Kenny King d Jay Lethal with the One Night Stand
Before the main event, The Bravados are in the interview. They say they’ve been on the phone since the Conways got lucky against them and they’ve hired a manager. They’ll reveal who it is next week.
World Title: Harley Race d Konnan after hitting the vertical suplex 3 times in a row. This was a brutal match. There were 12 fatigue tokens between the two men.
