The former World Heavyweight Champion, Dick Hutton, is the next competitor to join the roster of the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame set! Hutton captured the World Championship from Lou Thesz, namesake of the Hall of Fame. Who will win their rematch? Itβs up to you, promoter!

Dick Hutton makes sense. But, 95% of the time, I'm sure Thesz would drop Hutton with ease.

Is there a historical significance to Hutton with the stack of cash? Perhaps joining the Million Dollar Corporation? π

Is there a historical significance to Hutton with the stack of cash? Perhaps joining the Million Dollar Corporation? π He had a challenge where if someone pinned or submitted him they received the cash. Believe this was described in his original profile with the b/w cards but he would do well as part of Dibiase's Corporation.

In fact in my early days, I ran the two as a team for a while with that gimmick. Of course usually they stole back anything they lost and eventually I turned Hutton face and teamed him with Danny Hodge.

There is a picture out there where Hutton has a $1000 bill pinned to his jacket. The reference photo we used for Hutton was higher quality, so Werner drew the cash in his hand instead.

I saw the reference pic and he had a hat in his hand but also saw the other pic with the money. Either didn't remember or forgot the story about the money.

I've told this story before but one time when I brought Hutton into my fed (obviously the B&W card) so I figured I'd feed him a jobber... George South.
Dice rolls were crazy that match. The B&W George South card beat Hutton in two moves.
I've had a hard time coming up with reasons to use Hutton ever since.
Maybe a new card will mean a new lease on life. That could be cool.

I also teamed him up with Danny Hodge. I made them both hardcore wrestlers and called them Hardcore Hutton and Hardcore Hodge and together as a tag team they were called The Heroes of Hardcore. I am hoping one of the last names in this set will indeed be Danny Hodge so The Heroes of Hardcore can team up together once again.
