Happy to have Hutton and this set is the only way we get him. Dick was an all-time great college wrestler whom Thesz hand-picked to succeed him over the objections of some NWA honchos. Man to man, Lou would have had his hands full with the cowboy.

Dick Hutton no problem with him at all , only thing he never seemed to do much . No titles or main feuds . But seeing that money story if he got pinned , gave me an idea .

Pleased to see Hutton! He made one brief appearance in FP-Dub a couple of years ago where Mike Graham referred to him has ‘Dick Head’ Hutton, so perhaps it’s time he got his revenge!

In the old B&W set, I had Hutton as a small name/big ego character that feuded with (and lost horribly to) Kowalksi for top heel status. Seeing him in the set gives me a few ideas, like having him form a heel stable with Roop and Londos to feud with top face Tragos (depending on his card).
On a side note, I'm resrating my fed with color cards from this set, LOW 3 and 4, and a few indie sets. I have ROH and Chikara starter sets but I was wondering if there are any indie sets (4-card, 6-card, 8-card, whatever) where most of the wrestlers are technical/submission wrestlers? I'm not familiar with a lot of indie wrestlers but adding a few with that style would fit them in well with my fed. They don't even have to have strong cards, as long as they have that tech/sub style.
Thanks.

There is an interesting article at www.postandcourier.com/sports/wrestling/dick-bourne-s-new-wrestling-book-is-a-crown-jewel/article_52bd1d08-f9bc-11ea-bdf3-b38543d80390.html that has a tie-in to Dick Hutton. At GalactiCon, we were visiting in the chat room between tourneys and I mentioned some of my favorite wrestling books. I mentioned Dick Bourne's series on title belts and the wrestlers who held them. This new book is about the NWA World title from 1959 to 1973, which is called "The Crown Jewel". What's the tie-in with Dick Hutton? I knew Lou Thesz dropped the World title to him in 1957 and went on a tour of Europe/Asia as the "NWA International Champion" with the championship belt called "The Thesz Belt" (You can see this belt for yourself on display at the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame as part of the Dan Gable Museum in Waterloo, IA - cheap plug!) What I didn't know was Hutton didn't have a physical championship belt during his reign as NWA World Champion, according to this article. The photo used in his original black and white card does have him wearing a championship title, which I assumed was the NWA title belt. I will be interested to read this new book and learn more about the history of "The Crown Jewel" title, along with Hutton's lack of a title belt.

Thanks, I’ll check them out. Any specific editions for Evolve? I’ll even take wrestlers with amateur backgrounds.

That is not easy to answer. You have to look to each Card.Im not that much informed about the Wrestlers im the Sets. When it comes to submission style Guys. Both Members of Ringkampf have Sub Finishers i think.
