Hey everyone, I am sure there are many wondering what is going on with the Promoter Online. Rest assured things are coming along.. I hope to have an announcement about what is going on and, maybe a sneak peek, by the end of the week. I need to find out about a couple of things first before I can say anything on here.
Couple things I can tell you..
1) There is an expanded staff
2) There is no limit on the size of each issue
Can't elaborate on those items yet.. but hope to do so before the end of the week.
Just please be patient.. and when you see what we have in mind here.. it will be well worth the wait.. think of everything you ever knew about the Promoter .. and FORGET IT!! Promoter Online will far surpass all of that.
Thanks JK

Hey everyone, Well.. finally.. I am able to give you an update on Promoter Online. Sorry for the delay but had to finalize some things before I could say anything further (and computer glitches have delayed me a bit more.. but I digress).
For the time being.. the Promoter will still be released on a bi-monthly schedule. The first Online issue does not have a set release date at this time.. due to the new format/look.. when you see what I am talking about you will understand the delay. However.. we are shooting for a mid to late-March release for the first issue.. should have a possible release date in the next several days or so.
There is no limit to the size of the Promoter.. the days of 8 page paper issues are gone.. so are the days when articles had to be shortened to fit said space.. now you will get each article in all it's glory.. and then there are so many special features to boot.. more on that in the near future.
In order to take the Promoter in the direction I have envisioned for years.. an expanded staff became essential. Below you will find the names, and for some, contact emails and a brief description for each person's position.
So here is the new, and improved, staff of the Promoter:
John Krause (Editor-in-Chief) jkcotg@yahoo.com -- Same as before.. managing the staff, Promoter content, proof-reading and making sure each and every issue is better than the one before. Any, and all, questions, comments, suggestions, etc. should be sent to me. You can send any submissions to the appropriate Editors below.. or to myself.. and I will pass it on to the appropriate person when applicable.
Todd Joerchel (Assistant Editor) gamemasterproductions@hotmail.com -- My right hand man.. so to speak .. here at the Promoter.. he will be in on all my plans and ideas.. and ready to step in and help wherever needed.. that and so much more. Todd also handles the subscriptions. Please direct anything involving subscriptions to Todd.
Kris Osk (Technical Editor) -- Kris is the tech guru of the staff.. can't say much more right now about what he is doing.. or it will spoil the surprise of the new Promoter look..
Cory Olson (Legends Editor) originalpsycor@hotmail.com -- Cory will be writing the Legends column. He will also be managing all stuff LOW-related for inclusion in Promoter Issues. If you have an idea involving official LOW characters.. please contact Cory with your idea(s). All ideas for non-LOW "real world wrestling" should be directed to John Krause for review (due in part to legal reasons).
Jim Karantonis (Special Features Editor) Jimsteel99@aol.com -- Jim will be handling all articles, ideas, etc. that pertain to COTG (anything but LOW). So if you have an idea or story you think would be great for the Promoter.. send it to Jim and maybe you could be a part of Promoter history. Also Jim will be handling the Promoter Spotlight.. yes folks it's back.. more details to come in the near future.
Jeff Manning (Rankings Editor) the_tsmoothnami@yahoo.com -- Jeff will be handling the collection, and compilation, of rankings each and every issue. Any ranking sent to John Krause, past/present/future, will be forwarded to Jeff.. so no worries.. your results will count. Also.. there will be a new way to submit your champs.. when the Promoter Online is released.. can't say anything more yet.. but it will make things a whole lot more interesting.
Please do not ask any of the staff above about the time table for the first issue release. They simply do not know at this point.. that info is in my hands, and two other people (Kris and another who has not been named above to preserve the surprise of the new look.. that person will get their props when the issue is released). Please direct all questions to me for the near future.
Let's give you a small preview of the first issue:
-- An article highlighting one of the preeminent races of the COTGverse. -- Who will be the first to fill the Promoter Spotlight? The Promoter Spotlight will be a regular feature in the Promoter. -- Who will be the first Promoter Online Champions? -- A "behind the scenes" look into a certain part of the COTGverse.. what is it? What will it reveal? -- Character Spotlight.. an original article featuring a COTGverse character. Who is it? What is the story? There is this article, and possibly, a second as well. Character Spotlight will be a regular feature in the Promoter. -- The debut of John Krause's regular column. Who knows what may come out of his mouth in this feature? But it will make for an interesting read. -- The staples of the Promoter.. columns for Tom, Todd and Kris. -- The Legendary Wrap-up. -- The winners of the Legends tournaments. -- The winners of the Legends tournament contests.
And so much more that you will find out about soon enough. This no empty hype.. wait till you see the new look, and all the stuff that has not been hinted at here, it will blow your minds!!
Thanks for your patience everyone. Believe me when I say that it is worth the wait. I will have more updates whenever possible. Please.. if you have any ideas for Promoter submissions.. get them in right away.. we want each, and everyone, of you to show us what you got.
Thanks JK

As for subscriptions, just continue to subscribe to the Promoters as you used to in the paper format. For now the pricing will remain the same, $15 for a year subscription and $3 for a 2-month subscription. We may also add back a year year option. If you had issues remaining on your old subsciption they will be carreied over to PromoterOnline (1 issue = 2 months).
Any other questions please let me know.

We were shooting for late March, but it looks more like late April.
We'll make the announcement as soon as we're sure.
The system is built, but we're fine tuning all content and design so everything is tip-top before release.
