So as I head into 2088 for my classic fed, Spike debuted on a house show, just to get a win under his belt, against Red Talon... and couldn't beat him.. was a Double DQ. That wouldn't be so bad, but poster-boy just couldn't beat the guy... the match went for a solid 6 or 7 minutes without Spike squashing him.
What was your memorably bad debut?

Monolith had a very rocky first year (I'm still waiting for him to dominate)

In my CWF fed, Mister Centra- one of my all-time personal favorite COTG characters- just can't win a championship but I see he has done very well in the CWF feds for many other promoters.

I'm way back in 2103 at the moment. I guess in recent memory would have to say Rising Sun/Titan Fury. Thought this would be a dazzling new team always in the title mix. Rising Sun just couldn't get any inconsistency. Over 3 years later and the team still hasn't held the belts

Just got to 2100 and Titanfury about to debut after a year of legends, hope Sun does better for me.
I’ve noticed in my fed besides Thantos and M83 it’s better to have that rocky start. Star Warrior and Spike both got beat in their first couple matches, This pains me but I have to go Greek Gods in my timeline, they had a rough first year and never recovered. I wish I had broken them up sooner as split they both almost got something going. Proteus has since returned to Ancient Greece and trained Heracles before he arrived, Actagon thanks to promoter prime went to the future instead and was the original Heavy Metal champion in that era.

Titan Fury held my main tag belts 7 times and my secondary tag belts twice so it can go either way.

The Basilisk starting out 1-7-1 has been pretty disappointing. When I ran an Indy fed I could not have been more ready and excited for the Kings of Wrestling to take over my tag scene. tystates even made me an awesome CD of their best matches. They lost their debut to ACH and his partner (a jobber type guy I don’t remember). It was awful. Then they lost the rematch. They never even got off the ground and I stopped playing Indy stuff not long after. Still bugs me.

I pitted the Kings of Wrestling against ACH & Tadarius Thomas once upon a time and the underdogs won! I lost interest in Indy too after that.
