So here we are, my LEGENDS fed has hit 1986. Magnum TA heading into the year has rode a wave of momentum and looks to be heading into his first top title shot. For those that dont know, Magnum in October of 86 has a bad car accident that took him out of wrestling. I have when the accident happens in my fed but havent made a final decision on what happens in this timeline.
Don Muraco took the belt from Flair and we are heading into late spring of 86. Muraco vs Magnum is taking shape. I have no idea what I want to have happen here lol.
Does history repeat itself? Does the accident take Magnums life? Does Magnum avoid it?
Cant wait to see if Magnum pulls off the win and gets a run with the title. What do you guys think should happen.

I say history does not repeat itself as I believe his card exists to rewrite history as it should have been. May he run with the title.
And this is coming from a guy who never saw Magnum without youtube.

I think Magnum approved his Legends card so history WOULDN'T repeat itself! With that said, do you have a chart that has Magnum's fate on it? You know, like 2-11 he stays healthy for the next fight card; 12=TRAGEDY and reroll to see if he makes it out alive? I'd love to see your method of madness for this. As for Muraco being Champ, I guess Vince wouldn't pay him what Muraco thought he was worth (being "Don Johnson" and everything in "Fuji Vice", LOL)! Good storyline that I'd like to see how it plays out! Todd C WTIC

Here is the thing about Magnum TA in my Federation. The NWA (Nebulon Wrestling Alliance) Magnum is a contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. He is currently in a feud with Terry Gordy, who also I feel should have been a World Champion. In the NWA Lots of men that has never been world champion in real world time due to them never having the chance due to political chicanery or a life altering change via death or accident. The men that held the World Title were David Von Erich, Greg Valentine, Wahoo McDaniel, Don Muraco and currently Tully Blanchard and Brad Armstrong. I always felt that men that should have been World Champions but never had the chance to be that. Magnum like stated before is on the list of contenders as Andre The Giant, Big John Studd, Ted DiBiase, Paul Orndorff, One Man Gang, Bruiser Brody, Nikita Koloff, Jimmy Snuka, Masked Superstar and Owen Hart. Owen Hart is the Number one Contender for the World Title being that he captured The Astronomican Heavyweight Championship (A non sanction prized title) from Ric Flair in their first ever meeting. So it may be down the line that Owen Hart could be the man next up to be World Champion or could it be Magnum TA or could it be that these two men will face each other to determine that who will be the Top Challenger for the title. Owen Hart is a former NWA World TV Champion in my fed and Magnum is also a former Intercosmicsolarnental Heavyweight Champion in my fed as well. Other men that are in the NWA are Roddy Piper, Terry Taylor, Gino Hernandez, Arn Anderson Steve Williams, Junkyard Dog, Jim Duggan, Buzz Sawyer, Mike Rotundo, Kevin Sullivan, The Patriot, Billy Jack Haynes, Austin Idol, Stevie Ray , Brian Lee, Khrusher Khruschevev,2 Cold Scorpio, Hercules Hernandez, and Brian Pillman and please I want you to know that the NWA has it's territories as well that Include men like Tito Santana, Ron Fuller, Manny Fernandez, Jimmy Valiant, Rod Price, Bill Dundee, Buddy Landel, Eddie Gilbert, Shelton Benjamin,Marty Jannetty, D-Lo Brown, Dick Murdock, Mr. Wrestling 2, Jake Roberts, Punishment Martinez, Chris Adams, Nikolai Volkoff, Wendell Cooley, Al Perez, Scorpio Sky, King Kong Mosca, Damien Wayne, Blackjack Mulligan, Jerry Lynn, CW Anderson, Lance Archer, Luke Hawx, Dean Malenko, Mance Warner, Sonny Siaki,Jeff Cobb, Adam Page, Kenny Omega, Jay White, Al Snow, Brian Adidas, Ken Kennedy,Chris Chavis, Giant Bernard, Kurrgan, Christopher Daniels, Scott Norton, Lance Storm, Stevie Richards, Willie Mack, and Dustin Rhodes. None of these men have held the World title via NWA, AWA, WWE,WCW, ECW,TNA, I look at a guy like Roddy Piper who should have held the NWA or WWE World Title, Not just him but Paul Orndorff, Greg Valentine and Ted DiBiase. So my NWA wants to correct the wrong and bestow the chance for these men to be World Heavyweight Champions.

I say have the accident happen. Then have him recover and make a miraculous return to the ring. I think that would make for a great story.

So I have no way to determine what happens in this, might be a gut call the show before. One thought I did have was since Ted Dibiase just returned as the million dollar man, it’s alledged that he causes the accident and everyone thinks TA is dead and then at the PPV Dibiase will hit the ring and say tonight he becomes champion as a result of TA having to forfeit due to the accident and at the last second TA returns and fights Dibiase.

In my fed he won the US title then had the accident. While he’s recovering he was letting Dusty Rhodes defend the belt for him and Dusty lost it to Muta. I may or may not do a heel turn when he comes back. Still thinking about it. We will see who has that US title when I decide to bring him back (thinking December at the earliest).

The weirdest part of my fed is really if you can hang around long enough, eventually you will catch fire. He's on a nice run and would be a nice story.

I will also say use the storyline as it was originally played out. Magnum has a short feud with Jimmy Garvin that makes him the top challenger for Ric Flair and the NWA World Title. Jim Crockett announces at STARRCADE 86. Ric Flair will defend the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Magnum TA in the Omni Coliseum in Atlanta, Georgia on Thanksgiving Night.

As someone who just experienced the worst traffic accident of their life last Friday, I personally probably will not have any traffic accident-related storylines in my fed results anytime soon.
But otherwise, I think the suggestion of having Magnum TA go through the accident and then make an unexpected comeback is a good idea.
On a side note about Magnum TA, he just won a battle royal in my fed results I posted tonight to win a spot in my Summerslam Scramble and the winner of that match receives a title shot. Magnum TA is still looking for his first title (at any level) in my fed's history.
