Hello everyone!
My name is Anthony Duclos and I am slowing getting back into CotG. I have lurked for awhile since I like seeing what's going on as far as new releases but have just recently sat down to start playing. I used to play way back in the day (1995-2000) but got busy with typical school/job/life stuff. I actually made one prior attempt to get back onboard since I have the 2125 set so I was sorta caught up, but then I realized that was ten years ago!
I am currently half way through 2125 and have up until 2131 on my table to process. Almost bought everything I was missing but may dip into the remastered classic cards which look great and some of the newer Legends stuff. There is so much content after being away so long I want to just sample everything.
I look forward to participating in the board now that I am setup and playing again.

You once ran a Fed called TCW, that had classics like Astro Creep, Buck Satan, Insomnia, a group called the Poison pack (I think?) With Toad, Scorpion, Centipede etc (I think?) There were quite a few I think, maybe Kindred, Uma Dahmer, X Nailz? Dogma! Some really fun names of old school days! That was you from long ago, correct? |

Yup, that was me. Some of those guys you mention were from Jamie B Wilson but I ran many of his guys in my bootleg fed. I have my stack of old bootlegs dusted off so who knows, might need to start up again in some format.
I saw you mentioned a few times as a good person to help with formatting so I might want to pick your brain for help later. If I get real motivated I wanted to make a pass through some of my guys and revamp them so they are closer to 'legal' and more balanced, etc. Would be good to get them in a more modern format too. Haven't done anything like that in forever though, haha.
Glad you remember some of my characters from way back, I remember you as well so happy to see a familiar face.
Kindred was from Jamie. Poison Clan was a project Jamie did that I made art for...had the five deadly venoms (based on the old film). Uma Dahmer and X Nailz were from Brandon Strevel I believe.

If you'd like your stuff put into a PDF for safe keeping, hit me up! I have templates set up for easy print off. I try and keep all my stuff like that in case something happens to my cards. I would love to have some of those old cards. I'm an old school guy myself and remember a lot of those old characters from back in the day. I still think some sort of a historical society should exist for those old bootlegs. Maybe a best of set could be created some how?

Some have great remakes in the GWFZ sets, but hard to come by these days! |

I remember your sets from way back as well  Lots of fun times for sure, was scanning the bootleg section to see if I recognize anything (its been a loooongg time so its a long shot) and I saw your new stuff too, looks great and nice to see a familiar face on in the bootleg section! I have pretty much all my stuff still packed away, plus a few of Jamie's guys that I made my own cards for plus some of his I just shrunk to card size (vs the full sheets he would send). As time permits I will see what I can upload just for nostalgia if anything. They all need to be cleaned up stat wise so I was thinking for my own guys I might take some of them and revise them to bring things back in line with where they should be. Good project for all this time at home, right? I will probably take up the offer on converting to PDFs and go from there. I think its right around the 25th anniversary of some of these guys since I started my TCW around 1995. |
