Hello everyone! My name is Anthony Duclos and I am slowing getting back into CotG. I have lurked for awhile since I like seeing what's going on as far as new releases but have just recently sat down to start playing. I used to play way back in the day (1995-2000) but got busy with typical school/job/life stuff. I actually made one prior attempt to get back onboard since I have the 2125 set so I was sorta caught up, but then I realized that was ten years ago! I am currently half way through 2125 and have up until 2131 on my table to process. Almost bought everything I was missing but may dip into the remastered classic cards which look great and some of the newer Legends stuff. There is so much content after being away so long I want to just sample everything. I look forward to participating in the board now that I am setup and playing again. Welcome back my old friend JIM KARANTONIS

I would love to have some of those old cards. I'm an old school guy myself and remember a lot of those old characters from back in the day. I still think some sort of a historical society should exist for those old bootlegs. Maybe a best of set could be created some how? I have all of my old bootlegs and am starting the slow process of scanning and then reviewing the stats. I actually was thinking of compiling a few of the top guys and get the redrawn so they are more up to par with the fan made stuff today. I have some of Jamie's bootlegs that were tightly woven into my fed so maybe factor those into a small best of the hardcores set haha. I was hoping I could dig up a few more of JBW's stuff but most of what I have are his stats with my art on top since I wrote them into my stories. I know some of this was already touched on in the big fan set that was compiled (which included a few of my guys). Could revisit some of those that fit the theme, I wish I had more recollection of the rest of what was out there back then but it was a long time ago. I know a lot of that crew have long since moved on but I still chat with Aaron Chiu from time to time. I had to laugh though scanning the bootleg feds looking for any full blown bootleg feds and yours was not only a recent post but a blast from the past. Then the fact you are also making guys in a similar theme caught my eye as well. I guess we are stuck in our ways, or is it more you cant teach an old dog new tricks? Not quite sure at this point, lol. But yeah I have a lot of ideas kicking around now which I will post to the fan made section soon.

I've got tons of old bootlegs from promoters that just sit there. Too expensive to give them away but I have little use for them. I may pack them up with me for G-Con next year and let Todd auction them off.

Yeah, I can imagine. There were a lot kicking around back in the day, so I can only figure its even more now. Its a testimony to how creative and enthusiastic folks can be with this game though so its a good problem to have

Slowly, but surely, getting everything done
