I'm now confused... are you talking about the PIN rating, or the DQ rating? Sorry, that should have said a DQ that rises as the match goes. I was trying to feed my son and type at the same time. Ok then... you have not been doing it wrong... π

DQs stay the same thankfully (though if you really want a dq, you could raise them up as a match goes along)

Didn't the first Godsend card have an escalating DQ on one of the moves? Some kind of choke?

i pretty much play by the book and donβt have a lot of house rules. That said I do have two regarding tag matches.
If a tag wrestler has been on defense for awhile and they roll one of their reversals, they must successfully hit an offensive move before tagging out on offense.
A manager may attempt a distraction or interference immediately after a failed pin save attempt in tag match.
And, not really a βruleβ but Champions are always on the left side of my gaming layout and use the red die.

he did yes. I also use the hit an offensive move before tagging out.

I also use the hit an offensive move before tagging out. Ditto! But, only on a straight defensive reversal... If a wrestler counters as the result of rolling on a chart (ropes, turnbuckle, ring, deathjump) or because of a 'missed' offensive move (ag, pw, ch.A-G), the wrestler can tag out immediately.

I don't use the roll twice for DQ rule in my feds. At least I don't think I do. It's been awhile since I've played.
I do have a rule that if you roll a reversal in a tag match, you have to hit one offensive move before you can tag your partner in.
I also enforce Tom's rule that if you are doing a tag team finisher, the person who has the move on their card tags out when doing the move. He can't stay in the ring and do multiple tag finishers in a row. From what I've seen at GalactiCon, that rule isn't always enforced.

Of course there's not a lot of tag tournaments at G-Con so it doesn't come up much. Also funny because you can roll singles finishers time after time with no problem (I find both a bit silly honestly)

Also funny because you can roll singles finishers time after time with no problem (I find both a bit silly honestly) For a tag finisher, I view it as you're tagging your partner in to do the move, so you have a five count to do the move, and then you have to get out. I make the partner do at least one offensive move before tagging the guy with the tag finisher back in. The only tournament I ever won at GCON was a tag tournament with the Greek Gods (my favorite team!) at GCON IV, so I know we did at least one.
