Hi Gorilla & Bobby? Just the way it should be, eh? Fun fight card, love how you spelled "NWA" in the " nWo" style! Todd C WTIC Thanks for following. Of course. They are my favorite commentating team from back in the day. Heck, overall. Bobby with the humor and being a promotor of the heels without going overboard like many did years after him. Well, they are a reimagined nWo. I have always like the nWo concept but decided to do it a bit different. Instead of making it seem that WWF was invading the WCW I did it the other way. Instead of using order I used Association, so it looked like NWA was behind the group. Just don't expect the group to get all bloated or take up a bunch of airtime at the expense of other talent. I am going to try and keep things streamlines. Buddy is Hollywood, The Invaders are The Outsiders and Andre is the Giant. Well Of course Andra is a Giant, but you know what I mean. Hope you enjoy what I have planned.

December Week 1, Year 1
WWF Raw
As Raw comes on the air we see the four members of nWa arriving in a limo. They get out and are in a jolly mood as they feel they are on top of the world. Then we see some highlights from the Survivor Series PPV. Especially Giant Baba attacking Kurt Angle and the dominating victory by Team nWa.
Gorilla Monsoon: Hello everybody, this is WWF Raw. I am your host Gorilla Monsoon and as always, I am joined by "The Brain" Bobby Heenan.
Bobby Heenan: Hey Gorilla. How nice is it to not have that third wheel JR around us?
Gorilla Monsoon: Stop it, Heenan. Jim Ross is a fine fellow and a great commentator. Not to mention a wealth of wrestling knowledge.
Bobby Heenan: Whatever. Say, did you see those cool nWa t-shirts the nWa were wearing when they arrived? Where can I get one?
Gorilla Monsoon: Are you serious? You want to join the nWa bandwagon?
Bobby Heenan: You know what they say about if you can't beat them.
Gorilla Monsoon: Yea, the war is not over my friend. We will see The Invaders in action in our main event is they have a title shot against the WWF World Tag Team Champions, the British Bulldogs.
Bobby Heenan: Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid are as ugly as bulldogs and will be uglier after The Invaders finish beating on them and taking the titles.
Gorilla Monsoon: Will you give me a break. We also have some matches stemming from the fall out of the matches at the PPV including our opening affair between Dupae Rupa and Jim Duggan. Rupa beat Duggan early in their team's match. In fact, Duggan was the first man eliminated. He will be looking for payback in our opening match and that match starts now.
Dupae Rupa vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Duggan was on Rupa from the opening bell and kept coming at him for several minutes. He was dominating but could not get the pin on any of his three pin attempts. The third pin attempt was his best chance as he hit his Flying Spear finisher. Yet Rupa kicked out. Duggan was using wild haymakers when Rupa stunned him with a hard chest chop. From there Rupa got rolling. He had Duggan in trouble and finally finished him off with a Belgian Waffle.
Winner: Dupae Rupa via pinfall (3 stars)
Gorilla Monsoon: Well, that changed quickly. It looked like Duggan was going to get his payback but he ended up on the losing end once again.
Bobby Heenan: A lot of that had to do with that one move Rupa used. It is so impressive. What is the name of it?
Gorilla Monsoon: Belgian Waffle.
Bobby Heenan: Yes please. With extra butter and some strawberries.
Gorilla Monsoon: Well, I walked into that one.
Inside the locker room Rowdy Roddy Piper is talking to James Storm. Piper says he appreciates the help James gave but now it seems their feud is over and he wants to focus on single wrestling. He says he hopes James understands. James tells Piper not to worry. He says he wants to stick with tag wrestling...and he knows a guy.
Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka w/Captain Lou Albano vs Virgil w/Ted DiBiasie
After a bit of back-and-forth, the Superfly started to show how outclassed Virgil was. Virgil could have used some help from his boss but DiBiase was too focused on Albano who kept threatening DiBiase every time it looked like he might get involved in the match. Virgil showed his toughness by kicking out of a few pin attempts, but Snuka finally finished him off after a piledriver.
Winner: Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka by pinfall (2 stars)
After the match ended Captain Lou Albano motioned that Snuka would be coming for the IC belt.
Kurt Angle vs Giant Baba w/Mr. Fuji and Antonio Inoki
Angle started good but Baba used his size to swing momentum his way. He made short work of the Olympic gold medalist and beat him with his Neckbreaker Drop finisher.
Winner: Giant Baba via pinfall (1 star)
Gorilla Monsoon is talking about how Angle took a Neckbreaker Drop at the end of Team USA's win at Survivor Series and it is possible that that move then and now irritated Angle's neck injury from the past when Antonio Inoki starts attacking Kurt Angle. Baba and Inoki are stomping on Angle when The Patriot runs out from back and chases them out of the ring. Mr. Fuji is laughing as he leads his men into the back.
All of the members of the Nation Of Domination are standing in the ring.
Mr. Hughes: What an embarrassment. A complete and utter embarrassment. We went up against the nWa and got our asses handed to us. You guys really dropped the ball.
Malcolm: Shut up!
Mr. Hughes: (looks taken back) Excuse me? What did you say?
Malcolm: You heard me. You talk about an embarrassment and dropping the ball. You should be giving that speech while looking into a mirror. It was you that let the group down. You never tried to make a save until the very end and only got in the ring after everyone had been eliminated. Not once did I see you try and tag in. Not...once.
Mr. Hughes: (grabs Malcolm by his suit coat) Don't you dare talk to me like that. I'm the leader of the Nation.
Malcolm: Correction. You WERE the leader. Get him boys.
With that Mark Henry and PG-13 attack Mr. Hughes. Over the next couple minutes, they proceed to beat him down. Then they lay him on a table and J.C. Ice comes off the top rope with a splash sending them thru the table. Finally, they lay some chairs in the ring in a pile and Mark Henry delivers a nasty World's Strongest Slam onto them. Officials some down to get them to stop but it seems the Nation were done anyways. They slowly and quietly walk off as medical staff check on Mr. Hughes.
Standing in back The Patriot has something to say.
The Patriot: Mr. Fuji your men attacked Kurt Angle after the match like cowards. Well, it is time for them to stand up and be men. I am challenging them to a tag team match against me and Angle next week. Let's see how tough they are when they do not have the numbers advantage.
British Bulldogs vs The Invaders for the WWF World Tag Team Championship
The Invaders came into the match riding high on the momentum of the nWa's dominating victory at Survivor Series over the Nation Of Domination. But it was the champs who started this match on fire. They used frequent tags and a double team move or two to put Steve Williams on the defensive. He was forced to tag out the first chance he got. Terry Gordy quickly turned things around for his team as he put a hurt on Davey Boy Smith. Gordy hit a power bomb and folded up Davey Boy for the pin.
Winner: The Invaders by pinfall to win the title (2 stars)
Buddy Rogers and Andre the Giant come out after the match to join their faction mates in an in-ring celebration.
WCW Nitro
Tony Schiavone: This is WCW Nitro, and we have an entertaining show for you all tonight.
Larry Zbyszko: If you say so Tony. I see no title matches and only a bunch of small high-flyers and a bunch of flashy guys that would not beat me on my worse day. The only saving grace tonight is The Russian Bear, Ivan Koloff will be in action as Hammer & Sickle will be in action in our main event. But don't let me get in way of you doing your job. Continue Tony.
Tony Zbyszko: Well, thank you living...legend. The fans will love the show and that is important. Not if you approve. Let's go to the ring for our opening bout.
Tiger Mask vs Eli Everfly w/Larry Sweeney
This match had the fans on their feet by the end of it. Tiger Mask started strong and when he went to pick Eli up off the mat, he got a face of Green Mist. That allowed Eli to string some offense together. Tiger Mask fought back and hit his finisher, Tiger Suplex. Eli kicked out at two. A bit later he hit it again, but Larry Sweeney jumped on the apron and made a spectacle of himself which got Tiger's attention. So, instead of trying to make the pin he went over to get in Larry's face. Larry wanted no part of Tiger Mask, especially since he achieved his goal, and he backed off.
Eli came behind Tiger Mask and tried a school boy but Tiger rolled thru it. Eli was back on the attack. He went for the win with Destroy All Humans but Tiger kicked out. Eli threw Tiger into the corner and Tiger bounced out with a spear. Then Tiger tossed Eli out to the floor. Tiger ran the ropes and wiped-out Eli with a Space Flying Tiger Drop. He then rolled Eli into the ring and went up to the high rent district. Sweeney got on the ring stairs and grabbed at Tiger's legs. That little distraction let Eli recover and run up the ropes and hit a stunner on Tiger off the top. Both men laid there for a bit then Eli started with his offense again. A Sliced Bread almost got him the win. Tiger found the strength to battle back one last time. A twisting moonsault and it looked to be over. However, Eli kicked out at the last moment. Tiger seemed as surprised as everyone else. Then he grabbed Eli, hit a piledriver and finally got the pin.
Winner: Tiger Mask by pinfall (5 stars)
Tony Schiavone: Holy cow that match was crazy. Both men left it all in the ring. It felt like each man would win at different times during the match.
Larry Zbyszko: I have to hand it to both men. They put on an amazing performance and had the fans' complete attention. Kudos to Tiger Mask and Eli Everfly for an exciting match.
In a back hallway Gordon Solie catches up with James E Cornette.
Gordon Solie: Mr. Cornette, a moment of your time if you please.
James E Cornette: What is it, Gordon? I am a busy man you know. What? What do you want?
Gordon Solie: Recently you were seen talking to the Powers of Pain. What was that all about?
James E Cornette: Fine. You want to know? I will tell you. I brought those muscle-bound dim wits in to take care of my Road Warrior problem. But they could not get the job done. I was yelling at them last week for their failure. However, at the end of the day it will not matter. My boys the Midnight Express will wrestle circles around the Road Warriors at Starrcade and still be the World Tag Team Champions at the end of the night. Now, if there is nothing else, I have places to be and people to see.
He storms off before Gordon Solie has a chance to respond.
"Hot Shot" Eddie Gilbert vs "Bullet" Bob Armstrong w/Brad Armstrong
A solid match that saw both men wrestle hard and end when Bob hit a knee lift and pinned Eddie for the W.
Winner: "Bullet" Bob Armstrong via pinfall (2 stars)
Eddie was not happy about losing and he attacked Bob after the match. That brought Bob's son Brad into the ring to pull Eddie off his dad. Eddie and Brad got into a shoving match. Bob got to his feet and started brawling with Eddie. Then two men came running out from back.
Larry Zybszko: That is Eddie's dad and brother, Tommy and Doug.
The two men got in the ring and joined Eddie in fighting with the Armstrongs. Officials and security came out and worked to pull the men apart as Nitro went to commercial.
Hammer & Sickle vs Disco Inferno & Zicky Dice
Boris Zhukov and Zicky Dice started the action. Boris used his power to batter Zicky around the ring for a bit. Then Zicky did some gyrating and as Boris stared in confusion Zicky gave him an eye rack to distort his vision. Zicky worked on Boris for a while before tagging Disco in. Disco got in some offense and was doing good till Boris bounced out of the corner and leveled Disco with a lariat. Boris crawled to his corner and tagged Ivan Koloff in. Ivan did not look pleased with Boris's performance. Ivan worked over Disco for a couple minutes then tagged Boris back in. Ivan motioned for Boris to go finish Disco. Unfortunately, Boris could not keep the advantage for long and soon he was on the defensive. Disco made a pin attempt and then hit Last Dance but Boris kicked out at two and a half. Disco tagged Zicky in who quickly put an ankle lock on Boris. It was not long before Boris tapped out.
Winner: Disco Inferno & Zicky Dice by pinfall (2 stars)
Disco came into the ring with a huge grin on his face. As he celebrated with Zicky, Ivan got in the ring and started berating Boris. Boris tried to plead his case but Ivan ignored him and kept chewing him out.
A promo for the next PPV, the biggest of the year, Starrcade. The matches that have been signed so far.
- Big Van Vader vs Drew Galloway for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship - Moose vs Roderick Strong for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship - Midnight Express vs Road Warriors for the WCW World Tag Team Championship - The James Gang vs SST in a Steel Cage match - AJ Styles vs Bryan Daniles in a Submission match
Drew Galloway vs Fit Finlay
This match between two tough Europeans did not last too long. Both got in some offense and then the match spilled out to the floor. The referee came out to try and get the men to return to the ring. Fit Finlay pushed the referee away from them and he fell to the floor. Once the ref recovered a bit, he had the timekeeper ring the bell.
Winner: Drew Galloway via pinfall (2 stars)
The two men battled on the floor and Drew started to get the better of the exchange. He was tossing Finlay around when he got ran over by Big Van Vader who seemed to come out of nowhere. Big Van Vader was stomping on Drew then he grabbed the top of the ring stairs and smashed them into Drew. Officials came out to try and get the World Champion to stop his onslaught but Vader ignored them. He dragged Galloway over to the announcer's desk. Big Van Vader lifted Galloway up onto his shoulders and power bombed Drew down thru the desk. Drew Galloway looked to be knocked out as Big Van Vader stood over him like the conquering warrior.
ECW Chaos
ECW World Champion Ken Shamrock is standing in the middle of the ring, title belt slung over one shoulder and microphone in hand as the show begins.
Ken Shamrock: Life is crazy sometimes. I had no plans in joining the world of wrestling. I just came to an ECW show to see the great action you all have going on here. Then Shane Douglas had to come out and get in my face. Next thing I know I am signing a contract and on a PPV beating Douglas for this here World title. Things happened so fast I barely realized what happened. But as quick as all of that it was even quicker what happened next. I am handed this belt and start to let it sink in when I get jumped by Raven and his lackeys. I understand you jumping me from behind Raven. It was because you knew you could not deal with me face to face. That is why I am confused why you want a title match. I will destroy you punk! When we face off in the ring, title on the line or not, I will beat you down and break your friggin ankle. There is nothing you or your lackeys can do about it.
He tosses the mic down and gets up close and personal with the camera as he glares menacingly into it.
Joey Styles: Wow, new World Champion Ken Shamrock with some strong words for Raven and his flock. Welcome to ECW Chaos. On the card tonight we will see the Briscoe Brothers defend the ECW World Tag Team Championship against The Plague. That is of course the team of One Man Gang and Abdullah the Butcher. I will go out on a limb and say we will not see a wrestling clinic displayed in that one. Also, tonight B.J. Whitmer will be in action and in our opening match Justin Credible will take on...wait, is this right. (looking off camera) Are you pulling my leg? No? This is correct? Ok then. Justin Credible will face...Justin Time. (tosses the cue card up in the air) Let's go to the ring for the madness of that match.
Justin Time vs Justin Credible
Justin Credible came out first and then Justin Time. He wore a black mask with red numbers on the forehead, 1:23, that looked like a digital clock readout. He wore a clock on a chain much like hype man Flavor Flav and a familiar white towel around his waist.
Joey Styles: (said sarcastically) That towel sure looks familiar. I guess he must be related to Mr. XXX.
This turned out to be a short match. It was over in no time at all. Justin, the Credible one, tried a hit toss on Justin, the Time one, but Time blocked it. After a slam Justin Time went to the top rope and hit a Money Shot. Credible kicked out. Time decided to try it again but got the same result. He then tapped a finger onto his wrist where a watch would be and looked at it before holding it to his ear. It seemed he thought it was time to end the match but maybe the time was off. He hit a few more moves before going for another Money Shot. As they say, third TIMES the charm.
Winner: Justin Time via pinfall (1 star)
After the match Time removed his mask to reveal, to no one's surprise, that he was Val Venis. He rotated his hips to the joy of some ladies in the crowd who cheered and squealed.
A promo for the next PPV later this month, Holiday Hell. First match confirmed is Ken Shamrock defending the ECW World Heavyweight Championship against Raven.
B. J. Whitmer w/Kevin Sullivan vs Al Snow w/Head
As Whitmer and Sullivan made their way down to the ring Al Snow turned toward Head and said, "And they call me crazy. Look at these two. (laughs) You are so right Head". While not as quick as the first match this one was about as one-sided. Whitmer countered most of what Al threw at him while hitting his own offense. He hit an Adrenaline Spike and made a cover with a handful of tights. Snow kicked out just in the nick of time and the referee noticed Whitmer had his tights. As the referee is reprimanding Whitmer Sullivan slid into the ring, got behind Snow and hit a Low Blow on him. Sullivan flew out of the ring as Whitmer went for the cover. Another close pin attempt with no success. More offense from Whitmer and then he pulled the referee over into a corner to discuss something. That gave Sullivan the chance to enter the ring again. This time Al Snow was ready for him and grabbed Head, putting him in front of his lap. That did not stop Sullivan who hit a Low Blow on Head driving him, or is it her, into Snow's crotch. Whitmer made another cover with no success. Sullivan looked at Whitmer who shrugged his shoulders. An inverted DDT and Adrenaline Spike led to a Wrist Clutch Exploder. Finally, Whitmer got the win.
Winner: B. J. Whitmer by pinfall (2 stars)
The camera catches Homicide and Hernandez, better known as LAX and the current NWA-TNA Tag Team Champions walking in back.
Joey Styles: Is that LAX? What are they doing in ECW?
Briscoe Brothers vs The Plague w/Sir Oliver Humperdink for the ECW World Tag Team Championship
This match was a slugfest between both teams. They spent almost as much time on the floor as in the ring. At one point Abdullah the Butcher was pounding on Mark Briscoe. As Mark tried to tag out Abdullah stopped him. Abdullah took a swipe at Jay that brought Jay into the ring. As the referee went to get Jay back in his team's corner Abdullah pulled out a fork from his trunks and dug it into Mark's head. Momentum swung from one team to the other numerous times. Neither team could seem to get over the hump. Finally, Jay was in control over One Man Gang and tagged his brother. They hit a Spike Jay Driver and Mark pinned One Man Gang.
Winner: Briscoe Brothers via pinfall to retain (3 stars)
Sir Oliver Humperdink cannot believe it. He runs his hand thru his hair and stomps his foot. It looked for a while that his men would win the tag titles. They just came up short. The Briscoe Brothers are going to be a hard team to dethrone.
PWI News and Notes:
Jimmy Lloyd and Jeff Cannonball of the Xterminators beat the Rock-n-Roll Express for the NWA-Wildside Tag Team Championship. They had help from C. W. Anderson to steal the title belts away. Things are looking bad for NWA-Wildside as the Xterminators keep getting more and more power. Alex Colon is trying to get an NWA-Wildside Heavyweight Championship match against Gixx.

Hi Cool to see Snuka as a bad guy here! I remember thinking Backlund's days as champ were numbered when Snuka was chasing him in the WWF! Question: I see PWI in the mix: I hope you have a major angle set up for BILL APTER? No need to answer that one, I'm sure you will let everyone know as you along! Todd C WTIC

December Week 2, Year 1
WWF Raw
Gorilla Monsoon: Happy holidays everyone and welcome to WWF Raw. Merry Christmas Bobby.
Bobby Heenan: Bah humbug. I am stuck in the studio with you. Not very merry is you ask me. Besides it is still a week away.
Gorilla Monsoon: Fine Ebenezer, have it your way. We have a fun Raw tonight. We will see Bundy, Muraco and Killer Kowalski all in action among others. Then in our main event, Kurt Angle and The Patriot will face Mr. Fuji's team of Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba.
Bobby Heenan: Our first match is King Kong Bundy against Keith Steinborn. Keith is about to be as flat as a Christmas sugar cookie.
Gorilla Monsoon: Will you cut it out.
Bobby Heenan: Don't have to, he will be precut. (laughs)
King Kong Bundy vs Keith Steinborn
A dominating performance for King Kong Bundy. Keith never really had a chance in this match. Bundy hit an Atlantic City Avalanche and after the referee counted to three Bundy demanded a five count which he got.
Winner: King Kong Bundy by pinfall (1 star)
Monsoon introduces a video from a week or so ago. It shows Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine getting into a heated argument in their locker room. Jimmy Hart tried to calm them down with no success. Greg Valentine walked out and Jimmy went after him. Beefcake threw his hands up in the air then did the "get out of here" gesture with his hands. Monsoon wonders if this is the end of the Dream Team.
Killer Kowalski vs Greg Valentine w/Jimmy Hart
The larger Kowalski was in control for several minutes before Valentine was able to start getting his own offense in. Valentine never looked like he had a chance to win however. After Kowalski won a fight out on the floor, he cruised the rest of the way. He hit Bombs Away to pick up the W.
Winner: Killer Kowalski via pinfall (2 stars)
As Kowalski is having his arm raised in victory the music for the nWa begins to play. All four members walk out to the stage.
Buddy Rogers: Nice performance and win there Mr. Kowalski. You are a big, powerful man that knows how to wrestle. Just like all of us. You should consider joining the nWa. This is an official invitation to join us. Let us know your decision. Soon.
At that the four men return to the back while Killer Kowalski seems to be pondering this. Every so often looking to the fans to gauge their reaction it seems.
Gorilla Monsoon: This is not good. The nWa is already so strong. Imagine if they added Killer Kowalski to their group.
Bobby Heenan: I do not want to imagine that Gorilla. This is getting out of hand. Who is going to stand up to them and keep the nWa from taking over the World Wrestling Federation?
Mark Henry w/Malcolm vs Don Muraco
Two big bulls that went at it with gusto. Henry hit a World's Strongest Slam early in the match, but Muraco was able to get his shoulder up. Muraco kept fighting back and used his experience to gain control. Henry kicked out of a few pin attempts. Then Muraco hit a Hawaiian Hammer and got the pin.
Winner: Don Muraco by pinfall (3 stars)
Malcolm tried talking to Mark after the match but Mark shoved him to the side and returned to the back in a huff.
Gorilla Monsoon: Mean Gene Okerlund is standing by with a big announcement.
Bobby Heenan: Is he joining the Hair Club for Men?
Gorilla Monsoon: Give me a break Heenan. Let's go to Mean Gene.
Mean Gene Okerlund: Thank you, Monsoon. I may have a lack of hair, but I can fix that. Heenan has no way to fix his lack of personality. That being said, I do indeed have a big announcement. The World Wrestling Federation is always keeping an eye on the changing landscape of professional wrestling. Seeing the emergence of smaller, lighter wrestlers, many coming from Mexico and Europe, WWF has decided to add a new division and a title for the division has created a Light Heavyweight division. Sometime after the first of the year we will be crowning our first WWF Light Heavyweight Champion. More details will be announced over the next couple weeks. Back to you Gorilla.
Gorilla Monsoon: Thank you, Gene. Wow, that is some huge news.
Bobby Heenan: So true. Sounds like a division for your return to the ring Monsoon.
Gorilla Monsoon: I am not returning to the ring but thank you for the compliment, Brain.
Bobby Heenan: Yep, you could be the first Light Heavyweight tag team all on your own.
Gorilla Monsoon: I should have known you were up to something and that you were not giving me a compliment. Let's go the ring for our main event.
Bobby Heenan: Perhaps I was wrong to say you were big enough to be a Light Heavyweight tag team. You would be more like a trios team.
Kurt Angle and The Patriot vs Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba w/Mr. Fuji
A good tag match that saw Antonio starting to take control over The Patriot. That is when The Patriot tagged out to Angle. The Olympic hero came in like a house on fire. Kurt Angle hit a series of Olympic Slams before he was able to get the win but get the win he did when he finally pinned Antonio Inoki.
Winner: Kurt Angle and The Patriot via pinfall (2 stars)
The camera shot quickly cuts from Kurt Angle and The Patriot celebrating in the ring to a commotion in back. The nWa have attacked WWF World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart. He is being tossed around by the members as the hit him and throw him into the concrete walls. He appears to be busted open on his forehead. Finally, Andrea the Giant wraps his huge meaty hand around Bret's throat, lifts him up and choke slams the champ thru a nearby table. Bret is laying there motionless as the nWa stand around when Raw goes off the air.
WCW Nitro
A replay of the ending of last week's main event with Big Van Vader attacking Drew Galloway. Then we are live.
Tony Schiavone: That was a bad beatdown on the last Nitro. Tonight, Big Van Vader will be in our main event in a non-title match. This is Nitro and I am Tony Schiavone. This is my partner in crime, Larry Zbyszko.
Larry Zbyszko: Always a pleasure Tony. A pleasure for you to be working with me. Not so much a pleasure for me.
Tony Schiavone: Of course. We have a great Nitro lined up tonight with the Phenomenal one, AJ Styles in action plus a father and son tag team matchup as it will be The Gilberts taking on The Anderson. Not to mention the main event I mentioned earlier. Shall we get to it?
Larry Zbyszko: We are not getting any younger just sitting here.
Lio Rush vs PJ Black
A good cruiserweight match to kick off the show. Early on Lio hit a tornado DDT and almost got the pin. Both men showed what they can do with good wrestling and even hitting a move off the top rope. When PJ Black tried a second move off the top Lio ran up and sent him flying off with a belly-to-belly suplex. From there Lio hit his finisher but PJ kicked out. A short time later Lio performed a reverse huracanrana and secured the victory.
Winner: Lio Rush via pinfall (3 stars)
Not long after the match finished DJ Z, Eli Everfly, Juventud Guerrera and Larry Sweeney come running down and enter the ring. Sweet n' Sour International proceed to attack both men in the match. Soon Lio Rush and PJ Black are laid out.
Larry Sweeney: The rumor going around is Jushin Liger will be defending the Cruiserweight title against Tiger Mask. Why is Juvi not getting that title shot? Well Sweet n' Sour International will continue laying out the cruiserweights until he gets a title shot. Replace Tiger Mask with Juvi or just add Juvi to the match. Until WCW officials do that, we will make life miserable around here.
AJ Styles vs Mike Jackson
A mostly one-sided affair as Styles just outwrestled his elder Mike Jackson. There was a short offensive run from Jackson in the middle of the match but it did not last long. After Jackson kicked out of a pin attempt Styles applied Calf Killer and got the submission.
Winner: AJ Styles by submission (2 stars)
Tony Schiavone: It is possible AJ chose to win via submission in preparation for his Submission match against Bryan Danielson at the Starrcade PPV.
Larry Zbyszko: That would be a wise idea. Practice makes perfect plus he could be sending a message to Bryan.
It is official. Juventud Guerrera has been added to the Cruiserweight Championship match at Starrcade. The match will be a Triple Threat. First pinfall or submission wins the match.
The Gilberts (Tommy and Eddie) w/Doug Gilbert vs The Armstrongs (Bob and Brad)
It was dueling father and son teams in this one. The first couple minutes saw the dads go at it until Tommy had a good control over Bob and then Tommy tagged Eddie in. Eddie spent a couple minutes wearing Bullet down. He hit a Hot Shot but Bob kicked out. Eddie tagged his dad in and Tommy kept the heat on. All the while Brad stood on the apron desperately looking for a tag so he could get in. When Tommy hit his finisher, Running Knee Lift, Brad finally got in the ring as he tried to break the pin attempt. Eddie was ready for that however and cut him off. Bob was still able to kick out. Eddie tagged back in and was cruising along until he started to get cocky. A missed knee lift of his own, as he tried to impress his dad, led to Bob finally tagging out. Brad came in and went wild on Eddie. After surviving the initial attack Eddie quickly tagged out. Tommy did not have any better luck. After a couple minutes of being on the receiving end of Brad's pent-up anger Tommy motioned to his other son. Doug got in the ring and attacked Brad leading to the referee calling for the DQ.
Winner: The Armstrongs via disqualification (3 stars)
A promo for the next PPV, the biggest of the year, Starrcade coming this weekend. The matches that have been signed so far.
- Big Van Vader vs Drew Galloway for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship - Moose vs Roderick Strong for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship - Midnight Express vs Road Warriors for the WCW World Tag Team Championship - The James Gang vs SST in a Steel Cage match - AJ Styles vs Bryan Daniles in a Submission match - Jushin "Thunder" Liger vs Tiger Mask vs Juventud Guerrera for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship in a Triple Threat match - Tommy Gilbert vs "Bullet" Bob Armstrong
Big Van Vader vs Manny Fernandez in a non-title match
This was a warmup match for Vader as opposed to an opportunity for Manny. Vader dominated from bell to bell. Manny survived a Released Power Bomb and a pair of Vader Bombs. It was hard to tell if Manny kicked out on his own or if Vader made casual covers. All that is known as that when Vader decided he had enough of the match he climbed up the ropes to the top of the turnbuckle and hit a Moonsault. He got the win after that.
Winner: Big Van Vader by pinfall (1 star)
As the match is over and Nitro is about to end Drew Galloway comes out of the back surrounded by WCW officials trying to keep him from getting to the ring. He keeps moving down the entrance ramp as some security members come out to help the officials. Drew is staring at Vader and pointing as Nitro ends.
ECW Chaos
Joey Styles: Hello, I am Joey Styles, and this is ECW Chaos.
The opening video plays.
Joey Styles: We have some good wrestling for you tonight like our main event where we will see the ECW TV Champion, Alex Shelley, defend his title against new arrival, Sami Callihan. We will also see uncontrollable carnage like our opening match where Super Crazy will be looking for revenge against the raving mad lunatic...The Sheik. (He looks around with a worried expression) I just hope they do not bring the fight over here to the broadcasting position. Let's go to the ring for that match.
Super Crazy vs The Sheik w/Abdullah Farouk
This was a crazy match between two men who have no problem stretching the rules as they see fit. Super Crazy hit his Moonsault finisher early in the match but The Sheik kicked out. The men brawled in the ring and around it. The Sheik used his Camel Clutch on Super Crazy, who refused to submit, a pair of times. Then The Sheik went nuts and pulled out the dirtiest of tricks. He shot a Fireball into Super Crazy's face. It appeared like the referee was going to call for the DQ but Abullah Farouk got in his sight and shook his head before pointing to make the count. The Sheik covered Crazy and the referee made a quick count.
Winner: The Sheik by pinfall (3 stars)
The referee called for help from the back. The medical staff came out to check on Super Crazy. The Sheik went to the floor, grabbed a chair and entered the ring. He acted like a mad man swinging the chair to keep the medical staff out of the ring. Then it looked like he was about to attack Super Crazy with the chair when suddenly the lights went out. After a short bit they came back on and standing between The Sheik and Super Crazy is a man not seen in ECW for some time...SABU! The crowd goes wild and a "Sabu" chant broke out. He stared at The Sheik for a few moments before turning around and stomping on Super Crazy. Sabu's uncle, The Sheik, just laughed and cheered his nephew on as Chaos went to commercial.
LAX, the Latin American Xchange, consisting of Homicide and Hernandez come out to the ring. Some fans boo. Some fans cheer. Hernandez yanks the mic from the ring announcer and hands it to Homicide.
Homicide: We are LAX, and we are the NWA-TNA Tag Team Champions. More than that, we are the baddest hombres around. Yet, we keep hearing about how tough these chicken farmers, the Briscoe Brothers, are. We are here to throw down the challenge. ECW is having a PPV soon called Holiday Hell. How about we put these titles on the line, the Briscoes do the same and we see who walks out of Holiday Hell with all the gold. The fans seem to like that idea as they cheer for it.
Rhino & Stevie Richards vs Lucha Underground
Stevie Richards started against Stryker and had the luchador in trouble from the jump. Stevie hit his Stevie Kick finisher and almost got the pin. After hitting a few more moves Stevie tagged in Rhino and told his partner to finish Stryker. Rhino was like a runaway train. After a Death Valley Driver he got a close two count. Then he waited for Stryker to get to his feet. Rhino almost tore him in half with a Gore! That ended the match.
Winner: Rhino & Stevie Richards via pinfall (1 star)
Stevie Richards gets in the ring after the bell and tries to remove Stryker's mask. Vampiro gets in, shoves Stevie and then rolls Stryker out to the floor. Stevie is yelling at Vampiro who just glares at him.
Joey Styles: I have been given information that Super Crazy was taken to a local hospital due to injuries sustained by the fireball he received and the beatdown from Sabu. If we get any more information, we will pass it on. If we get them after Chaos ends, we will put it up on our web stie. For now, it is time for our main event.
Alex Shelley vs Sami Callihan for the ECW TV Championship
Sami got a fast start, but the champ soon countered his offense and Alex started his attack. Alex hit a pair of his finishers, Shellshock, but Sami was able to kick out at the very last moment both times. A bit frustrated at not getting the win when it seemed he had it wrapped up Alex changed his game plan a bit. He applied Border City Stretch in an attempt to submit Sami. Again, it looked like Alex might get the win as Sami was close to tapping but he held out and got to the rope for a break. Soon after a third Shellshock finally let Alex get the win that had been alluding him during the match.
Winner: Alex Shelley by pinfall (2 stars)
A promo for Holiday Hell with the matches so far.

Starrcade - WCW
Tony Schiavone: Welcome and good evening, everyone, this is WCW Starrcade. The biggest PPV of the year. We have a great show for you tonight. Isn't that right Larry?
Larry Zbyszko: You are not wrong Tony. All four titles will be on the line plus we have a cage grudge match and a submission match. It shall be interesting to see how things play out this evening.
Tony Schiavone: Let's look at a video covering tonight's card.
A video package for the PPV plays then we are live again.
Tony Schiavone: Let's get the action started. Our opening match is a Triple Threat match for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.
Larry Zbyszko: Jushin Liger could lose the title without being the one to take the fall as the wrestler with the first pin or submission will win the match and the title. He will have to have his head on a swivel as he takes on both Tiger Mask and Juventud Guerrera.
Tony Schiavone: That is the Sweet 'n' Sour International's Juventud Guerrera.
Larry Schiavone: Whatever. I am not a big Chinese food kind of guy.
Jushin "Thunder" Liger vs Tiger Mask vs Juventud Guerrera for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship in a Triple Threat match
The three men started brawling at the bell. Liger grabbed and held Juvi. Tiger Mask went for a superkick but Juvi slide out of the hold and Tiger Mask hit Liger sending him falling thru the ropes to the floor. Tiger Mask and Juvi started to do battle. Tiger tossed Juventud out to the floor and then hit a Space Flying Tiger Drop. Both men were slow to recover but Tiger rolled Juvi into the ring. Then Tiger performed a jumping spin kick and went for a cover. Liger grabbed Tiger before the referee could get to two and threw Tiger out of the ring.
Jushin Liger then attacks Juvi. He gets in some offense before Juvi reverses things and finally is able to get in his own offense. Juvi rocks the champ for a minute than Liger reverses things. He works Juventud over then sees Tiger Mask re-entering the ring and turns his attention toward him. Perhaps still bothered by the superkick he took. A rolling koppo kick knocked Tiger loopy. He kept the pressure on and seeing Juvi still laying on the mat went for a Fisherman's Buster. He covered but Tiger kicked out.
Liger tossed Tiger into the ropes and Tiger jumped to the second rope and bounced off it with a corkscrew body block. Tiger was in control and after a minute Irish whipped Liger into the corner. When Tiger ran into the corner, he caught a spear from Juventud. That led to all three men brawling again. Liger and Tiger hit a double team clothesline on Juvi against the ropes sending him flipping over the top rope and onto the floor. As Liger looked down at him Tiger attacked the champion. He kept the heat on and after a twisting moonsault went for the cover but Liger kicked out. Tiger sensed Liger was in trouble and with Juvi out on the floor went for the kill. A piledriver led to a cover which led to a pin. Tiger Mask is the new WCW Cruiserweight Champion.
Winner: Tiger Mask via pinfall to win the title (4 stars)
Tony Schiavone: That was an exciting match.
Larry Zbyszko: I hate to admit it, but you are correct. It was a nice way to get this tremendous PPV started. Congratulations to Tiger Mask. Liger cannot complain because he was the one to have his shoulders pinned to the mat for the three count.
Tony Schiavone: You can see the cage being lowered over the ring. That means our next match will be the one between The James Gang and the SST.
Larry Zbyszko: Those two teams have been at war for quite a while, and I expect a blood bath with them duking it out inside the confines of the steel cage.
The James Gang vs Samoan Swat Team in a Steel Cage match
The James Gang were dominating in this match. They kept Alofa in the ring for most of the match. At one-point Alofa started to get in some offense then he tossed BG into the corner and tried to pommel BG in the corner. BG slipped out of his hold and rammed Alofa's head into the cage. That was a big turning moment in the match. From there it was all James Gang. Kip James used his Standing Leg Drop finisher and went for the cover. Samu tried to break up the count but got BG's fist in his face instead. Alofa was able to kick out. A couple minutes later BG hit a Shake, Rattle & Roll knee drop and pinned Alofa for the W.
Winner: The James Gang by pinfall (2 stars)
Larry Zbyszko: That did not go how I expected but it was an impressive win for The James Gang. Now they can put the SST behind them and start working toward what every tag team wants. A shot at the WCW World Tag Team Championship.
Tony Schiavone: A title currently held by the Midnight Express. They will defend those belts later tonight against the Road Warriors. For now, our next match will see Moose defend the WCW United States title against Roderick Strong.
Moose w/Ric Flair vs Roderick Strong for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship
The challenger, Roderick Strong, came out first and he was all business. He had his sights on the belt. Moose on the other hand came out to pomp and circumstances. The lights went out and then a spotlight hit the stage where he stood in a very flashy robe. The lights came on and he was joined by Ric Flair who was admiring Moose's robe. It was on the level of some of the best that the Nature Boy had worn during his career. They slowly made their way to the ring.
To be fair, while Moose made a big deal of his entrance, he was all business once the bell rang. He slapped Strong in the face and then shoved him across the ring. That got under Strong's skin and he went to get in Moose's face which was Moose's plan. Moose slapped on a bear hug. As Roderick was about to get out of it, Moose cracked his skull with a headbutt. Roderick fell to the mat like a bag of wet cement. Moose waited for him to get back to his feet and when he did Moose wiped him out with a Spear. It was an easy pin after that.
Winner: Moose via pinfall to retain (1 star)
A shot of Drew Galloway getting ready for the biggest match of his career later tonight.
Tommy Gilbert vs "Bullet" Bob Armstrong
As the match begins, Tony and Larry discuss how the contract both men signed agreed to the fact they would not have anyone in their corners. This match would be just one on one between them. The match was what was expected between two really good vets. The men worked to get control and do the most damage. It looked like Gilbert might get the win when he unleashes his finisher, Running Knee Lift, but Armstrong kicked out. That seemed to re-energize Armstrong as he battled back and used karate chops to put Gilbert away.
Winner: "Bullet" Bob Armstrong by pinfall (2 stars)
Tony Schiavone: That was a good match between two men who have been in a lot of rings over the years.
Larry Zbyszko: It wasn't bad, but I could beat either one of them. Even today with not being in the ring for some time.
Tony Schiavone: Does this mean you are coming out of retirement and climbing back into the squared circle?
Larry Zbyszko: And leave you alone to do commentary? I could not do that to our loyal viewers.
Tony Schiavone: Of course not. Our next match is one between two men who used to run together as part of the Four Horsemen. Bryan Danielson is still a Horsemen and their leader. AJ was unceremoniously kicked out when the other Horsemen beat him down with axe handles. Needless to say, there is no love lost between them. There match is a Submission one meaning the only way to win is to make your opponent submit. It will likely be the Calf Killer vs the Cattle Mutilation.
Larry Zbyszko: True but Danielson has been under the tutelage of the great Ric Flair so it is possible he could try and win with a figure four.
AJ Styles vs Bryan Danielson w/Ric Flair in a Submission match
The two men tore into each other as they did not try and hide their hatred for each other. While a win was only possible by submission each man knew they had to wear the other down so they used their normal offense. AJ was the first to try a submission as he put Calf Killer on Danielson. Flair tried to help his man by pushing the rope toward him but the referee stopped him. Bryan was able to escape on his own.
After a bit Danielson was back on the attack and after a diving headbutt he tried to pin AJ but the referee reminded him that he could only secure the win by a submission. A bit later he tried that with Cattle Mutilation. As AJ tried to grasp the rope for a break Flair pulled it away from him. Once again, the referee caught him and reprimanded Flair. That set Flair off and he threw a fit on the floor. AJ got the break and rolled to the floor for a breather. Once back in the ring he caught Danielson with a Pele Kick and had control. He put Danielson in Calf Killer once again. Flair was leaning into the ring and held his hands out for Danielson to grab so Flair could pull him toward the ropes. It looked like Danielson was about to do just that when he could not take the pain and tapped. Flair was crushed as was obvious by the look on his face.
Winner: AJ Styles via submission (3 stars)
Larry Zbyszko: Daniels was so close to getting the break. As they say, it is a game of inches. Not to mention, on any given Sunday.
Tony Schiavone: Ah, that is football Larry.
Larry Zbyszko: But it fits here.
A promo video for an event coming next month. The return of the Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup Tag Team Tournament aka the Crockett Cup. The best tag teams from WCW and around the world will be competing in a two-day tournament over a weekend in January. This will not be a PPV event but a special event broadcast over the networks that carry WCW. Who will prove themselves to be the best tag team in the world and walk away with the Crockett Cup?
Tony Schiavone: That is some big news. The Crockett Cup is returning. My understanding this will be a 16-team tournament. The first night will see the eight 1st round matches then on the second night we will have the quarterfinals, semifinals and the final match that will crown the Cup winner. Speaking of tag team wrestling, our next match is for the WCW World Tag Team Championship.
Midnight Express w/James E Cornette vs Road Warriors w/Paul Ellering for the WCW World Tag Team Championship
The challengers were pacing in the ring waiting on the champions. Flair led Midnight Express down to the ring but held them back from entering the ring. His strategy was to let the Warriors cool down before having him men enter the ring. Once that happened the match began with Bobby Eaton and Animal in the ring. Eaton was out wrestling Animal and did not let Animal's power help him. He tagged Stan Lane and they hit a Dark Side Veg-O-Matic. Animal was able to kick out. Stan Lane used a double thrust to Animal's throat and followed it up with a Russian Leg Sweep. That brought Paul Ellering up to the apron. The referee saw that and instead of making the count he went to the ropes and ordered Paul to get down. As that happened Hawk came in and attacked Stan before rolling out of the ring. Animal recovered and hit Stan with some forearms before tagging out. Hawk came in on fire. Stan was in trouble. A gorilla press slam led to a cover but he only got a two count. A bit later a gut wrench suplex led to another pin attempt. James was about to try and distract the referee but he was neutralized by Paul. The referee counted three and we have new world tag team champions.
Winner: Road Warriors by pinfall to win the titles
Tony Schiavone: Wow. Hawk pulled that pin out of nowhere. They are tag team champs once again.
Larry Zbyszko: They got lucky. The Midnight Express were wrestling circles around them. Midnight Express are the favorites to win the Crocket Cup in my opinion.
Tony Schiavone: Time will tell. For now, it is time for our main event. Can Vader defend the WCW World Championship or will Drew Galloway beat him for the title?
Big Van Vader vs Drew Galloway for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship
This was more of a slugfest than a wrestling clinic. Big Van Vader looked determined to hold on to the title he had fought so hard to win. He used both a Vader Bomb and a Released Power Bomb to get the win but Drew kicked out both times. Most of the action came from Vader but Galloway got in some offense. It looked like Vader was going to put Drew away when he made a pin attempt after a bone-crunching splash and after each of a pair of Vader Bombs. But Drew showed his desire to be World champ by kicking out. Vader was getting frustrated so he went for the fatality as he climbed to the top rope. Vader came off with a Moonsault but Drew rolled out of the way and Vader crashed and burned. Drew realized this was his best chance and he jumped on it. He grabbed Vader and used his finisher, Future Shock, a double arm DDT. It seemed that was all she wrote but right before the referee made the three count Vader kicked out to stay alive. People were shocked. Then Drew made a fatal mistake. He tried to perform a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and while he is strong it turned out Vader was too big. That allowed Vader to make a comeback that ended with one more Vader Bomb and the pin.
Winner: Big Van Vader via pinfall to retain (3 stars)
It was not a cake walk for Vader, but he can be proud of his performance. He took the title belt and held it high over his head as the PPV ends.

December Week 3, Year 1
WWF Raw
Raw comes on the air and there are a pair of Christmas trees set up on the stage, one on each side. Many of the fans are dressed in festive attire then we see the announce team. Gorilla Monsoon is dressed as Santa while an unhappy looking Bobby Heenan is dressed as an elf.
Gorilla Monsoon: Welcome to WWF Raw and Merry Christmas to all. Even you Brain. Try smiling, it is the holiday season you know.
Bobby Heenan: Smile? I am dressed like a freakin' elf. Why couldn't I be Santa?
Gorilla Monsoon: You know why Bobby.
Bobby Heenan: Yea, I do not have the natural girth in the middle to pull it off.
Gorilla Monsoon: Will you knock it off. It is because you are not jolly enough. Our fans will feel jolly after tonight thanks to a great card we have on hand. Sgt. Slaughter takes on his old nemisis the Iron Sheik, Midnight Rockers are in tag team action against PG-13 plus we will see the Rowdy one, Roddy Piper in acton and the leader of the nWa Buddy Rogers. Let's go to the ring for our opening bout. Will you stop pulling at your costume Heenan.
Bobby Heenan: This thing itches. I think it got fleas from those damn mangy reindeers. That or Matilda. Do I have to wear these ridiculas elf ears?
Gorilla Monsoon: Yes, you do.
Sgt. Slaughter vs Iron Sheik
A match between old foes was the expected slugfest. Both men refused to back down to the other. The action went back and forth between both men. After a long battle the bell rang which confused both men. What happened is they had reached the 10-minute time limit with no winner.
Winner: none, time limit draw (3 stars)
As Killer Kowalski arrives to the arena The Invaders walk up to him. He stares at the two men then Steve Williams hands him an nWa t-shirt.
Steve Williams: We need your answer by the end of the night. Either you are with us, or you are against us.
The Invaders walk off as Killer Kowalski looks down at the shirt.
Rowdy Roddy Piper vs Dupae Rupa
Unlike the first match this one was over quickly. Dupae tried a sneak attack with a clothesline on Piper but the Rowdy one was ready for him. After the missed move Piper used a simple eye poke and then applied his Sleeper finisher. Rupa tried to fight it off but he ended up fading. After the referee raised Rupa's arm a third time and it fell to his side the referee called for the bell.
Winner: Rowdy Roddy Piper via sleeper/submission (1 star)
Captain Lou Albino with Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka standing behind him cuts a promo about how the Intercontinental Champion DiBiase needs to stop running and ducking from Snuka. He needs to put his title on the line so Snuka can win it as it should be.
Midnight Rockers vs PG-13
Monsoon and Heenan talk about PG-13 coming out alone and Monsoon says the word is that the Nation of Domination is no longer together. Who knows if Malcolm would have helped but the Rockers dominated PG-13. Marty Jannetty hit J.C. Ice with a Rocker Dropper but only got a two count. He tagged in Shawn who wasted no time. He took Ice out with Sweet Chin Music and got the pin. Heenan joked that Shawn wanted to get home and bake cookies for Santa.
Winner: Midnight Rockers by pinfall (1 star)
Before the main event we look back to the end of the last Raw where Buddy Rogers and the other members of the nWa brutally attacked World Champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart. It is reported Hart needed some stitches on his forehead but beyond that and some bumps and bruises he is doing fine.
Buddy Rogers w/Andre the Giant vs Frogman Leblanc
Another one-sided match as Rogers wrestled circles around Leblanc never letting him get anything going. Rogers tried to get the pin with his feet on the ropes, but the referee caught him. A frustrated Rogers dragged Leblanc into the middle of the ring and applied the Figure Four Grapevine. Leblanc quickly tapped out.
Winner: Buddy Rogers via submission (1 star)
After the match Buddy asks for a mic.
Buddy Rogers: Killer Kowalski. It is time for us to know your decision. Please come out here and join me in the ring.
There is a short pause and finally we see Kowalski make his way out. He is wearing the nWa shirt. Fans are booing as he makes his way down toward the ring. He stops in front of Andre the Giant on the floor. Andre nods his head and slaps Kowalski on the back. Then Kowalski enters the ring. Buddy is all smiles, and he shakes Kowalski's hand. Then Buddy leans against the ropes facing the stage.
Buddy Rogers: Let this be a sign to everyone in the back. The nWa runs this company now.
Suddenly WWF World Heavyweight Champion Bret Hart's music plays, and he walks out to the stage. Andre the Giant moves over to the bottom of the ramp incase Hart comes down. Hart's forehead is bandaged up.
Bret Hart: At the end of the last Raw you and your boys put a beatdown on me Buddy. But I am sitill here. You think the nWa is going to take over and beat me for this (holds the title belt up) but it is not going to happen.
Buddy Rogers: Big talk for a man standing on his own.
Bret Hart: Who says I am standing on my own?
As Buddy gives Bret a curious look Killer Kowalski stands behind him and starts ripping his nWa t-shirt off. Doing that reveals another t-shirt underneath. It is a Hart Foundation t-shirt. The crowd sees this and go wild. Buddy looks more confused and he turns around. When he sees what Kowalski is wearing Buddy gets a worried look on his face. Before Buddy can react more Kowalski slaps on Kowalski Claw. As Buddy struggles and is in pain Andre notices what is happening and goes to enter the ring. When he does Kowalski shoves Buddy into Andre before rolling out of the ring. Killer Kowalski jogs up the ramp to join Bret Hart as they look down at the ring. Raw goes off the air.
WCW Nitro
Nitro comes on the air and we see Tony Schiavone and Larry Zbyszko wearing ugly sweaters. Tony has a gaudy Christmas Tree with actual flashing lights and a homely looking reindeer next to it with it's leg lifted as if it is about to do it's business. Larry's has Santa in goofy golf attire as he is eyeing up his shot on a golf course with Frosty as his caddy in the background.
Tony Schiavone: Welcome to WCW Nitro. I am your host, Tony Schiavone. Next to me is the well of wrestling knowledge, the living legend, Larry Zbyszko.
Larry Zbyszko: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Tony and to all our millions of viewers. I would like to point out that I won the ugly Christmas sweater contest.
Tony Schiavone: I told you Larry, it was not a contest.
Larry Zbyszko: Spoken like a true loser. Do something useful for a change Tony and tell us what we have lined up for the show tonight to our viewers.
Tony Schiavone: (sighs) Fine Larry. We will see the Powers of Pain taking on that unusual pairing of Disco Inferno and Zicky Dice, Boris Zhukov will be in action trying to impress an upset Ivan Koloff then in our main event it will be Armstrong vs Gilbert as Brad faces off with Doug. But first, our opening match is one with the cruiserweights as DJ Z battles RJ City.
Larry Zbyszko: I like this spunky RJ City. He reminds me of me as a youth somewhat.
DJ Z w/Larry Sweeney vs RJ City
City started hot. He shoved DJ Z onto his backside. When a heated DJ got back up RJ sent him flying with an armdrag. Then RJ took the action to the floor. The referee missed Larry Sweeney getting involved that let DJ take control. He rolled RJ into the ring and used a springboard crossbody for a two count. Later another springboard crossbody almost got the win. Finally, a crucifix finished RJ City.
Winner: DJ Z by pinfall (2 stars)
Tony and Larry discuss the recent Starrcade PPV. A few clips of some of the matches are shown.
It is time for the next match, and it was a surprise to see James E Cornette lead the Powers of Pain out to the ring. He is chewing them out over not taking care of his Road Warrior problem and how it cost them at Starrcade. The two big men say nothing and take the verbal abuse.
Powers of Pain w/James E Cornette vs Disco Inferno & Zicky Dice
The Barbarian was all over Zicky from the opening bell. At one point he missed a big boot and Zicky had the chance to get something going. Zicky tossed The Barbarian into the corner and hit a splash. Zicky started to celebrate after but it did not faze The Barbarian. After more brutality Zicky made a desperate move by trying a gagging clotheline. The referee saw it and was not going to allow it.
Winner: Powers of Pain via disqualification (1 star)
A promo for the upcoming Crocket Cup.
Boris Zhukov w/Ivan Koloff vs Tracy Smothers
The Russian struggled against the good old boy and Tracy put him away after a Jawjacker.
Winner: Tracy Smothers by pinfall (1 star)
The Four Horsemen (Bryan Danielson, Moose, Midnight Express, James E Cornette and Ric Flair are in their locker room. Flair is telling the others how disappoined he is in the recent performances. He said the Horsemen are about excellence. The best of the best. That is not what he has been seeing lately from them. They need to get back to being REAL Horsemen and outperforming everyone in the WCW.
Brad Armstrong w/"Bullet" Bob Armstrong vs Doug Gilbert w/"Hotstuff" Eddie Gilbert
This feud between families continues to heat up. A really good match that saw both men get in some work. It looked like it could be either man's match. Then Doug picked up the W after three straight piledrivers.
Winner: Doug Gilbert via pinfall (3 stars)
The two families are jawing at each other, but things do not get physical as the show ends.
ECW Chaos
A drunken, filthy mall Santa stumbles down a back alley. He leans up against a wall and appears to reach down to unzip his trousers when the shot goes live to Joey Styles.
Joey Styles: Oh my god. It seems someone is full of holiday cheer and needs to relive themselves of some of it. Welcome to Chaos. I am your host Joey Styles. Not only are we in the midst of the holiday season but we are mere days away from our next PPV extravaganza, Holiday Hell. But before we get to that we have some hot action on tap for you all. Tommy Dreamer takes on Detroit Demolition, the Pit Bulls take on Lucha Underground and Stevie Richards, the man most likely to get coal in his stocking this year, says we will see the unmasking of Stryker tonight then in our main event it will be Raven taking on a mystery opponent. That will be a warmup for Raven before he faces Ken Shamrock in the main event at Holiday Hell for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. It looks like it is time for our opening match so let's go down to the ring.
Tommy Dreamer vs Detroit Demolition w/Sir Oliver Humperdink
Detroit Demolition held his own for a couple minutes but then Dreamer started to pull away. Demolition survived a pair of Death Valley Driver finishers but a fallaway slam finally put an end to his night.
Winner: Tommy Dreamer by pinfall (2 stars)
An update on Super Crazy and his injuries. It is not known when he will return. Also, The Sheik and his nephew, Sabu, are forming a team. They will be running wild thru ECW.
Pit Bulls w/Stevie Richards vs Lucha Underground
A good tag match that saw the Pit Bulls dominate Stryker early on. But Lucha Underground found a way to fight back. They just could not find a way to win. Pit Bull #1 tossed Vampiro out of the ring and when he tried to go out after him the referee stopped him. Pit Bull #1 kept the referee's attention allowing Stevie Richards to stomp on Vampiro and throw him into the security barricade before rolling him into the ring. Pit Bull #1 tagged his partner and they performed a Super Bomb allowing Pit Bull #2 to make the pin.
Winner: Pit Bulls via pinfall (3 stars)
Stevie Richards leads Raven out for Raven's match. Raven sits in a corner while Stevie stands near him. They wait around for Raven's opponent and Stevie asks the referee where he is. The referee tells Stevie to ask Raven. When he does Raven points at Stevie who is confused for a bit then reality hits him and he looks scared. He tries to plead his way out of the match as Raven gets to his feet, but Raven just slaps him across the face and the referee calls for the bell.
Raven vs Stevie Richards
Stevie reacts to the slap and attacks Raven and hits a body slam. He then looks confused. Part of him feels bad but part of him wants to get the win. Stevie shrugs his shoulders and attacks Raven again. Early on he controls the action but Raven eventually fights back. Raven introduces a chair into the match and hits a drop toehold onto the chair. Later he hits a piledriver onto the chair. A second piledriver onto the chair has Stevie loopy. Not long after Raven picks up the win following a face-first Irish whip and clothesline.
Winner: Raven by pinfall (2 stars)
After the match Raven stands over his lackey and throws his arms to his side in the Raven pose as if sending a signal to ECW World Champion Ken Shamrock.
A promo for Holiday Hell with the matches so far.
- Ken Shamrock vs Raven for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship - Briscoe Brothers vs LAX in a title vs title match (ECW and NWA-TNA tag titles) - Alex Shelley vs Detroit Demolition for the ECW TV Championship - B. J. Whitmer vs Tommy Dreamer - Pit Bulls vs All Night Express
Also there is rumored to be an appearance by a certain man in a red suit.

Holiday Hell - ECW
The PPV comes on the air and the camera pans the crowd. The fans are in a rowdy mood. Some dressed as Santa and elves. Some in ugly sweaters and others wearing flashing Christmas lights.
Joey Styles: This is ECW and this is Holiday Hell. We have a great show lined up for you. We hope that you all had a great Christmas. Now that the holiday rush is over you can sit back and enjoy the best wrestling action.
Alex Shelley vs Detroit Demolition w/Sir Oliver Humperdink for the ECW TV Championship
Early on the challenger used his power to put the champ on the defense. Detroit Demolition looked to be on his way to winning the title but Alex started to fight back. He put the Border City Stretch on his opponent and forced him to submit.
Winner: Alex Shelley via submission to retain (2 stars)
The camera shows the Sheik walking in back with Sabu and they stop at the men's restroom. Sabu walks in while Sheik waits outside. Someone is seen sneaking up behind Sheik. It is Super Crazy with a heavily bandaged face. He taps on Sheik's shoulder then crouches behind him. As The Sheik turns around Super Crazy throws a fireball into his crotch area and then runs off. The Sheik is screaming in pain as he covers his sensitive area. Sabu runs out, sees his uncle down in pain and starts motioning for someone to come help.
Joey Styles: OH MY GOD! Talk about "chestnuts roasting on an open fire". Super Crazy just roasted The Sheik's. He has a weird way of celebrating the holiday season but that is why he is called Super Crazy and not just Average Crazy, I guess.
We see medical staff and ECW officials run over to help The Sheik and then the camera cuts back to the ring.
Joey Styles: We will give you an update on The Sheik when we get information. But for now, it is time for our next match.
Pit Bulls w/Stevie Richards vs All Night Express
Perhaps the Pit Bulls spent the previous night making too much merry or maybe they were following a game plan that Stevie came up with but either way they did not look good in this match. ANE dominated Pit Bull #1 and almost beat him with One Night Stand. He was able to make the hot tag to Pit Bull #2 but #2 did not fare any better. ANE used frequent tags and double teams to keep #2 on his heels and wear him down. Finally, Rhett Titus used Muff Driver to put Pit Bull #2 away.
Winner: All Night Express by pinfall (1 star)
The song "Here Comes Santa Claus" starts playing and a man walks out to the stage. He is dressed like Santa but wearing a Freddy Kruger like glove with blades. He looks up at the jumbotron and "Santa Claws" shows up. As he walks down the ramp he stops, looks at the camera, pulls down his beard and it is revealed he is Val Venis. He replaces the beard and continues down to the ring and gets in. He asks for a mic and is about to talk when the lights go out. The jumbotron comes back on and shows computer hacking. Then the screen goes off and after a bit the lights come back on. Standing in the ring behind Santa Claws is Sami Callihan. When Santa turns around Sami attacks him and we have an impromptu match.
Sami Callihan vs Santa Claws (Val Venis)
After surviving the initial attack Santa Claws fought back. After laying Sami out in the middle of the ring Santa went to the top rope. He called out the reindeer names then got the fans to join him in yelling ho, ho, ho before jumping off and hitting a Money Shot. Maybe because he took so long before hitting his finisher but he did not get the pin. A minute or so after that Sami started battling back. He put Santa in the Stretch Muffler and got him to tap out.
Winner: Sami Callihan via submission (2 stars)
A video looking at the arrival of B.J. Whitmer to ECW and his relationship with Kevin Sullivan. B.J. is working to earn his place at the head of the Army of Darkness. His match against Tommy Dreamer, which is next, is very important for him to win.
B.J. Whitmer w/Kevin Sullivan vs Tommy Dreamer
With his "father" encouraging him Whitmer was dominating most of the action. Then Whitmer distracted the referee allowing Kevin to toss a fireball at Tommy who seemed prepared and blocked most of it with his forearms. Whitmer went for the cover but Tommy was able to kick out. Whitmer kept on the attack and took the easy route by using a Low Blow to put him down leading to the pin.
Winner: B.J. Whitmer by pinfall (3 stars)
As Tommy rocks back and forth on the mat in pain, B.J. looks down at him with an evil expression on his face.
The video for MC Lyte's song, Roughneck, plays for a bit. Then a graphic comes up saying "The Roughneck is coming to ECW".
Briscoe Brothers vs LAX in an ECW Tag Team Championship vs NWA-TNA Tag Team Championship match
This match was almost over right after it began. Jay hit a release spinebuster on Homicide and almost pinned him. He could not follow up as Homicide fought back and hit an Ace Crusher on Jay and then tagged out to Hernandez. The big man came in and pounded down on Jay. Hernandez then lifted him up and tossed him with a Border Toss. A cover led to a two count. LAX kept working over Jay who was forced to make a desperate tag to his brother. Mark came in and went toe-to-toe with Hernandez. Mark tagged Jay and they performed a Doomsday Device on Hernandez. As Jay made the cover Mark stopped Homicide from making the save.
Winner: Briscoe Brothers via pinfall to retain their titles and win the NWA-TNA Tag Team titles (2 stars)
A promo for the next ECW PPV which will happen in February. It will be the Unhinged PPV.
Joey Styles: We have gotten word that The Sheik was taken to a local hospital and while he has some minor burns to his inner thighs there was no damage to his...more sensitive areas. Abdullah Farouk has stated that The Sheik and Sabu both want to get their hands on Super Crazy and make him pay for the heinous attack. Now, it is time for our main event.
Ken Shamrock vs Raven w/Stevie Richards for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship
Raven came down first and sat down in the corner. Ken Shamrock came down to a cheer and entered the ring. After the introductions the match started but Raven continued to sit in the corner. Shamrock came over and looked at him. Shamrock yelled at Raven to get up. He turned to the referee and gestured toward Raven. As the referee tried to explain there was nothing he could do Raven got up and attacked Shamrock from behind. Raven kept the heat on then yelled at Stevie who grabbed a chair and slid it into the ring. Raven hit a Russian leg sweep onto the chair. A bit later Raven set up the chair in the ring, tossed the champion into the ropes and hit a drop toehold onto chair. Shamrock was in major trouble. Raven knew it and went for the kill. He grabbed Shamrock and performed an Evenflow DDT onto the chair. He hooked a leg and pinned Shamrock. The referee counted to three and we have a new ECW World Champion.
Winner: Raven by pinfall to win the title (1 star)
Rhino and Pit Bulls came out and joined Raven and Stevie Richards in the ring. Raven's Flock stood tall with the ECW World title belt over Raven's shoulder as the PPV finished.
