Outrageous stuff on_the_edge! It's wild that you bring us so many different feds on display simultaneously. An Abdullah The Butcher sighting is always priceless. Heavy scene with Ric Flair & Co. bashing A.J. Styles apart axe handle style. The Phenomenal One definitely has his work cut out for him there. Really looking forward to Dem Boys headed towards MMWOW! Jammin work my friend! Thanks once again. One of the things I loved about old school wrestling (well 80's and 90's for me) and slowly the current product is guys moving around now and then. That and the competition between companies. Trying to catch that feel here. I want to run a proper RoH and TNA as well but running three companies, along with my COTG feds, is enough. I think more would lose the fun and become more work. So trying to meld them into what I have now but still kind of giving a fell of them as their own promotions, along with a few others. In a related not I used to love getting PWI and seeing all the action going on feds I could not catch on TV. I recently picked up the year end in review special issue and was kind of disappointed. It used to be extra think full of all kinds of goodness. Now in early 2000's I understand as it was mostly WWE. But there is so many companies now especially on TV. Needless to say my walk down memory lane was a bit of a bummer. Mornin on_the_edge! You brought me back when you mentioned about Pro Wrestling Illustrated. And I know what you mean about how it was versus how it is more recently. This fed though has that old school pwi feel to it when I read the action. I used to love just looking at the top ten ranked wrestlers in all of the territories they covered including the overall ranked top ten. Rock on my man.

WCW Great American Bash
The PPV begins with showing the ending of the last Nitro. After the shot of AJ Styles face down in a pool of blood the camera goes live to the announcers desk with Tony Schiavone.
Tony: AJ Styles has not been cleared to wrestle. He is still recovering from his injuries. The Board of Directors got together for an emergency meeting. First since they need an opponent for Bryan Danielson in the main event they decided to fill the void with the man who wrestled AJ for the title shot, Roderick Strong. Second since AJ did win a title shot he will get that shot once he is ready to compete against whomever the champion is at the time. Finally Ric Flair and the members of the Four Horsemen who attacked AJ have been fined heavily.
Jushin Liger beat Ricochet by pinfall. (2 stars)
The match was mostly Liger imposing his will on the young Richochet. He hit numerous finishers but Ricochet would not be pinned. But eventually the moves did enough damage and a Brainbuster put him away.
The Four Horsemen are in their locker room. Bryan Danielson is upset that he still has a match tonight. Ric Flair is trying to calm him down. Flair tells Christopher and Kazarian they have to go out for their match on their own as he needs to get Bryan ready for his match.
Davey Richards & Rocky Romero over Horsemen by pinfall. (2 stars)
The No Remorse Corps members took the fight to the Horsemen and never really let them get anything going. Some frequent tags between Davey and Rocky kept them fresh. Rocky performed Foreign Devil on Christopher and pinned him. Maybe things would have been different with Flair's guidance.
A promo for Daga then it is announced he will make his debut on the next Nitro.
Big Van Vader beat Fit Finlay by pinfall in a Falls Count Anywhere match. (2 stars)
The men slugged it out for a couple minutes with Finlay giving as well as he took it. Vader went for a cover then took the action to the floor. He tossed Finlay into the barricade, slammed him onto the announcers table and set up a chair and suplexed him onto it. Back in the ring Vader went for a moonsault but Finlay moved. Unfortunately Finlay could not take advantage and soon Vader hit a Vader Bomb and got the win.
A promo for the next PPV, coming in August, Blast at the Beach.
Disco Inferno over Jim Powers via pinfall. (2 stars)
Disco was rolling and hit his finisher. Jim kicked out and got on his own roll. Disco fought back and used piledrivers to damage Jim. The fifth one finally was enough and Disco got the three count. After the matches the fan got a dancing show from Disco.
Davey Richards and Rocky Romero come into their locker room where Roderick Strong is doing some pushups. They tell him they got the win over the Horsemen and he's going to get the win over Bryan and become World Champion.
Road Warriors defeated MVC by pinfall in a World Tag Team Championship match to retain. (3 stars)
This was a hard hitting match as expected. The momentum went from one team to the other. Animal tagged Hawk, they performed a Doomsday Device on Terry Gordy and Hawk pinned him. The champions defended their titles successfully. After the match it looked like MVC might continue the fight but instead they shook hands with the Warriors.
Bryan Danielson w/Ric Flair over Roderick Strong by submission in a World Championship match to retain. (2 stars)
Roderick put on a good showing but anytime he put some offense together either Bryan countered or Flair distracted him. Bryan put him in his Cattle Mutilation finisher and forced him to submit.

A rematch from last week that ended in the same way. The Mountie used his Shock Stick and got his man.

Promo for Summer Slam next month. Buddy Rogers defends the World Championship against D'Lo Brown while The Rising Sons put the World Tag Team titles on the line against former champs, New Age Outlaws. More matches coming.
Randy Savage beat Roddy Piper w/Bob Orton Jr. by pinfall. (2 stars)
Savage was looking to get his hands on the Rowdy one. What he got first was Orton jumping him before the match started. The Cowboy beat down on Savage than rolled him into the ring for the match to start. Piper was all over Macho Man and made a couple early pin attempts. Then Piper used his Sleeper finisher but couldn't put Savage away. That came back to haunt him as Savage fought back. Savage got the pin after a vaulting neck snap. Once the bell rang Orton got in the ring and looked to attack Savage again but backed off when Savage stared at him.
WCW Nitro
A highlight video from Great American Bash. The champions defended successfully. While the Four Horsemen still have the World title, the tag team of Daniels and Kazarian lost to Richards and Romero of No Remorse Corps. They will get a chance for payback in tonight's main event.
Daga over Super Crazy by pinfall. (2 stars)
Daga strummed his guitar as he walked down to the ring. Some good back and forth in first few minutes of the match than Daga started pulling away. He hit his finisher El Maverick. Crazy kicked out. A frustrated Daga went and got a chair and brought it in the ring. When the ref took it away and went to put it out of the ring Daga grabbed his guitar and smashed it over Crazy's head. The ref turned back and saw Daga make the cover. A three count and Daga won his WCW debut.
A video of AJ Styles, bandages around the top of his head. He said the Horsemen got the better of him but they didn't finish the job. He will come back and exact his revenge. Ending in him ripping the World title away from Danielson.
Tommy Rich over David Taylor via pinfall. (1 star)
Shortly after the match someone came out to the stage to watch the match. It was recently signed talent, Moose. Rich was in control most of the match. He used Wildfire Sleeper to wear Taylor down then finished him with a Thesz Press. As Rich made his way up the ramp to the back Moose just watched him.
A video of people having fun on a sunny beach. Blast at the Beach PPV coming in August.
Heavenly Bodies over Hammer & Sickle by pinfall. (3 stars)
Tom Prichard and Ivan Koloff started things. The Russian Bear had Tom in trouble then tagged Boris Zhukov in. Boris held the advantage for awhile than Tom fought back and tagged out. The Heavenly Bodies worked Boris off. They nailed him with a double team Flapjack a couple times and both times Stan Lane covered after only for Boris to kick out. Tom looked at Stan after as if it's his fault. Stan Lane then hit a Russian Leg Sweep and covered. Boris got his shoulder up. Tom was beside himself on the apron. So Stan tagged him in and told Tom to go get the win. Tom with a Dr Tom Bomb and a two count. Stan said "not so easy huh". Tom tagged Stan and they performed a Rocket Launcher. Finally Stan got the three.
Boris took a lot of damage during the match and looked to be injured. Ivan came in to check on him as medical staff ran down. Stan was standing in the ring watching what was going on with a look of concern. Meanwhile Tom left and made his way up the ramp. James Cornette came out and met him on the stage. James talked to Tom a bit. Stan saw this and watched what was going on with them. Tom looked back toward the ring before leaving with Cornette who gave Stan a wave and thumbs up. Stan seemed to get upset, looked around at the fans then took off after his tag partner.
A video showing the Serengeti National Park in Africa. All peaceful and beautiful. Then a lion hunting a gazelle. Voice over, "This used to be his hunting ground. Soon it will be the rings of WCW. The Alpha Male Uhaa Nation is coming to WCW. Who will be his prey?"
Davey Richards & Rocky Romero beat Horsemen w/Ric Flair via pinfall. (2 stars)
The No Remorse Corps members worked over Kazarian. Soon as he could tag out he did and the Fallen Angel Daniels got more of the same. Richards brutalized him with kicks and suplexes. Then a suicide dive took enough out of Daniels for Davey to get the pin. When Kazarian got in the ring with a chair Davey bailed out and he and Rocky retreated backwards up the ramp laughing and waving a finger to say no.
ECW Chaos
Abdullah the Butcher w/Sir Oliver Humperdink over 2 Cold Scorpio by submission. (1 star)
2 Cold grabbed an early advantage due to his speed. Then he tried to lift Abdullah which was a mistake. Abdullah owned 2 Cold. He pulled out some kind of foreign object and used it to jab and dig into 2 Cold's forehead. Almost as bad were the chops to the throat. 2 Cold was in a lot of pain so when Abdullah applied a nerve hold he had enough and tapped.
Raven is talking to his Flock (Stevie Richards, Rhino and Pit Bulls). He says other than the Pit Bulls with their tag titles the group has been letting him down. They need to get their act together or there will be changes.
Jerry Lynn over Steve Corino by pinfall. (2 stars)
Steve started good and it took Jerry a bit to figure things out. Once he did he simply rolled to the win following a top rope huracanrana.
Bill Alfronso is running a hot dog stand. A fan goes to put mustard on their dog but it isn't coming out. So he shakes the bottle and pushes hard. It shoots out and gets on Bill's shirt. For a moment it looks like he will explode but calms down quickly and just smiles.
War Machine beat Chris Candido & Samoa Joe by pinfall. (2 stars)
War Machine worked over Candido but he avoided the pin. He tagged Joe in. Joe was doing good and hit a Muscle Buster on Hanson but only got a one count. Then War Machine fought back. They hit War Machine on Joe and Raymond Rowe pinned him.
A promo for the Heat Wave PPV at the end of July. Things are about to heat up in ECW.
The Sandman beat Shane Douglas by pinfall in an ECW World Championship match to win the title. (1 star)
The Sandman rolled out of the ring at the bell to have a beer. He finished it, got in the ring then rolled out to have another. It seemed he was trying to play mind games with the champ. It worked when Shane came out after him. The Sandman knocked him down then hit a piledriver on the floor. The Sandman rolled him in the ring and grabbed his Singapore cane. The Sandman wound up and blasted Shane with it. He covered and the ref counted three. The Sandman won back the title he lost at the end of February at the Unhinged PPV.

Curt Henning over D'lo Brown w/Nation of Domination via pinfall. (1 star)

WCW Nitro
Moose beat Tommy Rich via pinfall. (1 star)
Moose finally made his WCW in ring debut. It was impressive even if it took three Spears to finally put Tommy away.
We see Stan Lane walking around in back looking for his tag partner Tom Prichard.
Back from commercial and Stan Lane comes down for the Heavenly Bodies match by himself. Before the match begins the jumbotron shows Tom Prichard talking to James Cornette in a hallway. A WCW official comes up and Tony says he is telling Tom his teams match is starting. We see the official point and Tom says something to James and runs off.
The Fantastics beat Heavenly Bodies by pinfall. (1 star)
As Stan is watching Tom run down the bell rings. Stan turns around and gets a double dropkick. The Fantastics roll over Stan and do not give him a chance to tag out. Tommy Rogers tagged Bobby Fulton and they hit a Press Slam/Splash combo for the win. After the bell Prichard simply hopes off the apron and walks to the back shaking his head.
Another promo for the "Alpha Male" Uhaa Nation.
Daga defeated Juventud Guerrera by pinfall. (1 star)
A surprisingly quick match. Daga won after hitting a brainbuster. He wasn't satisfied with just winning however. After the match he shook Juventud's hand but soon as Juventud turned around to leave Daga smashed his guitar over his head. Daga looked at the camera, shrugged his shoulders and smiled.
Big Van Vader w/Kevin Sullivan beat Nigel McGuinness by pinfall. (1 star)
Vader muscled his way thru and over Nigel. A Vader Bomb ended Nigel's night.
ECW Chaos
Briscoe Brothers over Al Snow and Mr. X by pinfall. (2 stars)
Dem Boys made their ECW debut. It did not start good for them. Mark was in the ring with Al...and Head. Al was talking to Head then tossed him to Mark. Mark caught Head and looked at it confused and Al kicked him in the gut. Al was all over Mark for a couple minutes then he tagged Mr. X in.
Mr. X and Mark had some back and forth. Then Mark tagged his brother. Jay tore into X but X actually countered. But instead of tagging out X tried to win the match. Jay fought back and blasted X with a Yakuza kick and rolled him up for the 1, 2, 3.
We see Bill Alfonso standing on the street in front of the arena holding an arrow sign that advertises the show. He's twirling it when a car drives by and someone inside tosses a plastic cup of pop that hits Bill getting him wet. He lowers his head and sighs.
Shane Douglas over Mikey Whipwreck via pinfall. (1 star)
Shane came down with a mad look on his face still upset over losing the World title. He took out his frustration on Mikey putting him away with a piledriver. Shane then asked for a mic.
Shayne: Sandman you chain smoking, beer drinking buffoon. You got lucky last week. You don't deserve that title. It's mine. That's my title. It's mine! Next month ECW is having their next PPV, Heat Wave. I want my rematch for the World Championship. And since you like using weapon's like your Singapore cane how about we make it a weapons match. We can beat the hell out of each other. At least till I win my belt back.

I got the itch to roll some LOW again so I'm dipping my toes in. Not sure how often I'll post or how long it will go. If the itch doesn't fade it could go awhile. I'm planning on running/rolling 3 feds (WWF, WCW and ECW) while keeping track of champions and notes on 5 others. The others will be NWA regional promotions (TNA, Wildside and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood), RoH and Chikara. It will be more slimmed down than past postings. Just results, segments and important notes. I will run 4 weeks a month, 12 months a year. I know that misses 4 weeks a year but I'm keeping it simple so those are Best of Weeks or preempted by other programming. I'm using official cards with a handful of bootlegs. No big names (Hogan, Flair, Sting) at least not in the ring. While the feds will have history and it takes place in late 90s it will be like a starting point especially regarding PPVs. Imagine there was a rift in the space time continuum or that Jesus got the iPhone 25 for his birthday (he always gets them way before the rest of us) and when he plugged it in to charge he accidentally unplugged the universe and when he plugged us back in the reboot messed some things up. My next post should be about the champions, TV shows and PPVs. I'm still finalizing the rosters. Hopefully it all comes out good. As always the plus will be if it entertains those who come along for the ride. Where can I find the wildside stats/cards? Thanks!

I was basically using cards from other sets from guys that had wrestled there, like AJ Syles for instance, and putting in other names of top Wildside guys. It was done just to give flavor and fill out the picture of a larger wrestling scene. I did this as it reminded me of my youth when I would read PWI and see results and standings for other promotions that I could not watch. Hope that answers your question. If not, feel free to ask more questions and I will do my best to answer and help.

July Week 1, Year 1
WWF Raw
We see video from earlier in the day where Randy Savage was walking around in a hurry looking for a tag partner for tonight. He runs into Lanny Poffo and tells the Genius he is tagging with Savage later. Poffo looks shocked but is afraid to say anything due to the mood Savage is in.
Roddy Piper & Bob Orton Jr over Randy Savage & Lanny Poffo via DQ when Lanny Poffo hit Roddy Piper with his metal scroll (2 Stars)
Savage started the match against Orton and was a wild man. He was on a mission as he took the fight to the cowboy. Shortly after kicking out of a pin attempt Orton tagged out to Piper who was not to excited about getting in the ring. Savage took the fight to him. Then Poffo looked for the tag but Savage was not done unleashing his rage on Piper. Finally, after several minutes Savage started to slow down so he reluctantly tagged out. Poffo got in the ring, pulled his metal scoll out of his trunks and smacked Piper with it resulting in the DQ.
Randy Savage could not believe it. He got in the ring and shoved Poffo who acted surprised that they got disqualified. As Savage is yelling at him Orton attacked Savage from behind. Piper recovered and joined in the beatdown. Poffo watched then shrugged his shoulders and left to the back. Orton held Savage and Piper got a running start and smashed Savage in the head with the cast on his arm. That busted Savage up and blood trickled down his face as Orton released him and he fell to the mat.
A promo for SummerSlam where Buddy Rogers defends the World title against D'Lo Brown of the Nation Of Domination and The Rising Sons will defend the World Tag Team titles against New Age Outlaws. There is just one more Raw after tonight before the PPV.
Dan Spivey defeated Hillbilly Jim with a Power Bomb (1 Star)
This was mostly a one-sided affair as Jim was in a rare situation facing someone who overpowered him. Dan hit his finisher and picked up a quick win.
A new match is announced for SummerSlam. Dan Spivey will take on Tony Atlas.
Killer Bees beat Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy w/ Bobby Heenan via Count Out when Big John Studd could not beat the ten count (3 Stars)
A very good match that went back and forth. The Bees used their speed, agility and double teaming while Studd and Bundy used their power. The end came when Studd left the ring to get a breather. B Brian Blair ran the ropes and dove thru the ropes and crashed into Studd. Both men were shook up but Blair got in before the ten count while Studd could not.
Bobby Heenan was not happy and he started berating his man after the match. Studd was not having it and shoved Heenan onto his backside. Heenan looked scared out of his mind. Bundy came over and grabbed Studd, motioning to the back. The two large men left their manager sitting there.
Buddy Rogers over George "The Animal" Steele in a non-title match with a Figure Four Grapevine (1 Star)
George could not get much going. He would get at most a couple moves and the World Champion countered. Buddy applied his finisher and forced George to submit.
The Nation Of Domination come out in force to the stage. D'lo Brown is doing his neck bobbing bit as he points toward Buddy Rogers and then makes the belt gesture to signify he thinks he will be the World Champion after SummerSlam.
WCW Nitro
An announcement from the WCW Board of Directors. Due to his injury AJ Styles has been stripped of the US Heavyweight Championship. Tonight's main event will be to crown a new champion. It will be between Moose and Big Van Vader.
Christopher Daniels w/Kazarian defeated Rocky Romero w/Davey Richards with a Koji Clutch (1 Star)
Kazarian yelled at Rocky from the floor. It distracted him allowing Daniels to get the jump on him. He then rolled to an easy W.
Clips of Moose preparing for tonight's main event then Big Van Vader doing the same as Kevin Sullivan gives him instructions.
Super Crazy beat Daga with a Moonsault (2 Stars)
Momentum went from one man to the other before Super Crazy took control of the action. He hit his finisher and got the pin. As the ref was raising Super Crazy's arm Daga grabbed his guitar and smashed it over Super Crazy's head. The fans boo'd as Daga just smiled and headed to the locker room.
A look at what lead to our main event. From AJ Styles winning a #1 Contender match to face, at the time, fellow Four Horsemen Byran Danielson for the World title to the Horsemen attacking AJ and thus kicking him out of the group and putting him on the shelf.
The Fantastics over Hammer & Sickel when Bobby Fulton pinned Boris Zhukov following a Rocket Launcher (2 Stars)
It took a couple minutes for either team to really start cooking. Once The Fantastics got going they rolled over Boris. They double teamed him till they hit their finisher and that was the end of the match.
Moose defeated Big Van Vader w/Kevin Sullivan to win the US Championship after a Pounce (3 Stars)
This was a match between two big hosses. They slugged it out for several minutes. Vader started to dominate the action. He hit a Vader Bomb but only got a two count. He followed it up with a Release Power Bomb. Then for some reason Ric Flair came down and got on the apron. He was shouting at the ref who walked over and got in his face. As Big Van Vader watched he did not see Bryan Danielson run down and slide into the ring with a chair behind him. Kevin Sullivan tried to warn Vader to no avail. The World Champion smashed the chair over Vader's back, knocking him to his knees.
Moose recoverd and Bryan returned to the back quickly followed by Flair. As Vader got to his feet Moose hit his Spear finisher. The ref counted one...two...Vader kickerd out. Moose could not believe it. He tossed Vader into the corner and his some corner shoulder thrusts. Then he placed Vader on top of the turnbuckle and hit a high dropkick, sending Vader crashing to the floor. Kevin Sullivan checked on his man and helped him return to the ring. Moose his a Pounce and covered Vader for the pin. We have a new US Champion.
Ric Flair, Bryan Danielson, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian walked down to the ring and got in. Moose stared at them then reached out with his right hand and held up four fingers. They smiled and returned the hand gesture. It seems Moose has not only replaced AJ Styles as the reigning US Champion but as one of the Four Horsemen. All four men face the camera and hold up four fingers as the show ends.
ECW Chaos
Mikey Whipwreck over Steve Corino after a Whipper Snapper (3 Stars)
Corino was doing real good and looked to be on his way to an easy victory. He hit his finisher a pair of times but Mikey kicked out both times. Then Mikey started fighting back. He used Frankenmikey to wear Corino down before finishing him off with Whipper Snapper. A nice upset win for Mikey.
A promo for ECW's next PPV, Heatwave, which happens at the end of the month.
Briscoe Brothers beat The Saints when Jay pinned Dave following a Double Football Tackle (2 Stars)
Early on The Saints was giving Jay fits as they used double teaming and frequent tags to stay fresh. They hit both of their tag finisers but could not keep Jay down for the three. Jay was finally able to tag out and Mark went to work on Dave. After a couple pin attempts that did not work he tagged Jay and they hit their double team move leading to the victory. Dem Boys are off to a good start since signing with ECW.
A promo from Sandman stating he knows he will have to defend the ECW title at Heatwave but he does not care who his opponent will be as he beat them and keep the title. He then lights up a cigerette and pops open a can of beer.
Chris Sabin defeated 2 Cold Scorpio in a TV Championship match after a Hail Sabin to retain (1 Star)
Scorpio was off this night which led to an easy win for Sabin. Sabin followed up a close pin attempt with his finisher to remain the TV Champion.
