Every week I'm reminded why I'm glad I don't play FF. It would drain all the fun of the sport for me.

I do not need FF for that. Being a fan of the Lions takes care of it for me. FF actually gets me more interested in other games that otherwise I would not be.

BOOM! I finally got my first win of the year. I'd like to thank Indy's dominating D. Two pick six AND a safety. Plus almost had a shutout. Also thanks to Sam Donaldson for sucking. An additional thanks to Mark Andrews for having the drops tonight to help secure my win. I won in spite of Kenyan Drake. He gave me less than 9 while I had two RBs on bench go over 18 each. He couldn't score against my Lions? Of course Murray had to steal a TD from Drake. Either way, I hate the Drake.
By the way if you have Drake on your team you should think of playing him. I'm putting him on the bench which means he is likely to finally go off this week. I mean it just happened this past weekend with Gallup.

2-1 in both leagues for me now. Was 1 point away in the tiebreaker in winning another week of pickem. Going ok so far. Just hope I get back Julio Jones and Devante Adams in my big league soon.

I went too high with points for the pick em league, but I was in that 4 way tie for the top.
Finally got my first win in my league, a 10 team ppr, superflex, idp league. I needed 15 points from Lamar Jackson who averages 30 in this league. So of course he only scores 18 to make me sweat all night.

Ugh it seems every week my opponent has a RB that goes off for their best week of the year. Week 1 it was Josh Jacobs, week 2 it was Aaron Jones and this week Joe Mixon. Between that and injuries/COVID my season has been crap. My RB 1, WR 1 and 2 are both out this week as is my K but that is less of an issue. Well like the Cubs used to say, there is next year.

Well whoever had OBJ today certainly did well.
I am thinking of doing Fantasy Football next year. How much time is required to devote for it though?
What I do instead is I gamble (a 3 team morning parlay and a 3 team afternoon parlay) every week (although probably nit next weekend since I will be in Indianapolis for The Collective.) On my morning ticket, I only went 1-2 but I am 2-0 on my afternoon ticket depending on tonight's game (tonight will be one of those very rare times when I actually want the 49ers to win so I can collect a 6-1 payout.)

Not much time is required really. It depends on how serious you take it. Going in to the draft is probably the most time that is required for research. Then on a week to week basis, maybe an hour to set your lineup and to make any add/drops that you may want to do.
Good luck with your evening parlay. This is why I want to move to a state that has a sportsbook.

Hmmm it seems we enjoy more of the same hobbies. I’m a combined 1-5 in my two pay leagues but I’ve hit 4-team parlays the past 2 weeks.
It doesn’t take much time at all Vegas. It’s what I do instead of playing phone games when I’m waiting in line or have 5 minutes.
On the edge I feel you. If i didn’t face high score in one league I did in the other. I’m 3rd in both league in PA
TM I got Adams and Jones too. I had to sit Adams cause I didn’t want to get screwed on Monday night. But it looks like Jones is gonna play... and get double covered so Ridley can take all the TDS smh.
