I was planning on skipping playing this year as just didn't feel it. Then last couple weeks I started to get the bug. So Monday afternoon I went and joined a Yahoo league that drafted at midnight. Half hour before I went to check the draft order. Looked middle to end where I usually end up and did not see my team name so went to the top and was surprised to see I was drafting 1st. I have never drafted 1st. I was so pumped. Then I almost blew it. When the draft started Cristian McCaffrey name was there on the top and all I had to do was click the draft button. For some reason I thought I had to click his name on the list. Using a touchscreen tablet I accidently clicked the name order button so instead of names being listed by expected order they were put in alphabetic order. With only 1 minute to pick I started to panic. I wasn't sure what happened but quickly filtered down to RB's and scrolled down to his name and clicked it so he was back at the top of the screen and drafted him. On the plus side I did the draft on Monday night because on Tuesday night about 15 minutes after midnight my internet went out (I called and they were doing an upgrade) and was out like an hour and a half. That would have PISSED me off if it was during the draft.
So anyone else playing this year? How's your team look?

Did a 10 team draft the other night in a new league, since 2 of my 3 leagues are not playing this year. Pretty happy with that team, but a 10 team league every team is stacked. I have Zeke, Mixon, Godwin, juju, Mark Andrews, Pats D and QB tandem of Matt Ryan and Carson Wentz.
Have my 14 team auction league draft on Friday night. We decided to move forward this is year 23 of the league and we didn't feel right not playing this year. We did adjust the rules to not start a kicker and have extra bench and IR spots to help alleviate roster issues from last minute players being pulled. I am keeping Dak Prescott for $9 of my $200 budget, but not sure what will happen beyond that.

Although the Falcons (thankfully) lost, Matt Ryan put up some good numbers for you today as he torched the Seahawks secondary which I expected to look better. Jamal Adams though did look good in his Seahawks debut.

My big league we do an auction. The top runningbacks went for a bunch more than I expected, but there were values on the top receivers, so I ended up with Devante Adams, Julio Jones and Deandre Hopkins. Each had 150 yards, so that seemed to work out well so far. So glad to have football and fantasy back!

Well I started 0-1. I guess I shouldn't feel so bad. I was picked to finish first in the league and went against the guy picked to finish second. Only lost by 9.58 points. Of course there are a lot of moves that could have resulted in a win including my drafting but the easiest thing to point to is my TE choice. I played Gronk and sat Noah Fant. Noah had more in the first half than Gronk had all game to cover the difference. Oh well. I'm slapping my TE's for week two so expect a big game from Gronk lol.

1-0 in both leagues and won my pickem league this week. Great start to the season and a nice birthday present! Congrats. Not only did I lose but when 0-5 in my picks for my league. I've never done that before. I have always got at least one right and almost always at least two. Hopefully I can bounce back. Another tough match up for me this week and now not sure if Godwin will be able to play.

I am cruising to a sweet 0-2 start. So far my team MVP is my kicker who I took with first pick of 15th and final round. Once again I was beat by a RB with last name that starts with J. This time it was Jones. Also in the first week I have gone up against the last two NFL MVPs, Mahomes and Jackson. Hopefully after these two weeks I can get some easier opponents.
