I was thinking the same thing, I’m already behind the 8-ball. My buddy is off to a good start with Pierce running wild on Thursday.

Miami frowned upon defense today.

Man, I SUCK at fantasy football. I used to be decent. But the FF Gods are doing me no favors these days. I leave a guy on my bench and he goes for 20 or 30 points. I put him in my lineup and he can't break 10. I play the guys that look like the top choices, even getting verification from the experts, and they stink. I try playing based off matchups and that does not work. I guess the silver lining is I am one step closer to a lucrative business. I can start charging people to learn who I would plan and who I would sit. Then they can go and do the exact opposite.

Tyreek Hill and Kenneth Walker have carried me the past few weeks. I think I gotta start going with Fields over Murray. He went nuts today and Arizona looks like a mess with Kingsbury.

Tyreek Hill and Kenneth Walker have carried me the past few weeks. I think I gotta start going with Fields over Murray. He went nuts today and Arizona looks like a mess with Kingsbury. The key with Fields is they need to keep letting him run. I thought he would be solid this year even with a mediocre offense due to his running. He does more of that it could open the passing game and I feel Claypool will start doing better and help Fields. This week was one for the running QBs for sure. Some big scores where they did most of the damage with their legs.

This week I decided to play the hot hands. I sat St. Brown (17.10 points) because he has struggled since his injury and Chicago has been good against WRs. Instead I played Mooney (7.70) because he has been hot, Fields has been playing better and the Detroit D is, well, the Detroit D. That was really the only mistake I made. Well besides not putting in a claim for Fields. I figured he had one good week and not sure if he could continue plus did not want to go chasing points as I have Tua and Dax who both have solid floors with a chance for a high ceiling. I did well by starting Foreman figuring he just went off on ATL a couple weeks ago and figured he would bounce back after a bad performance last week. Thanks to him and Cee Dee Lamb among others I got the W and snapped my 5 game losing streak. I went from 10th place/last all the way up to 6th place. I doubt I will finish in top four for regular playoffs but should make consolation and hopefully win that.
Here is what a rollercoaster of a year it has been for me. After 10 weeks I have had the highest score in my league, including this week, twice while also having the lowest score in the league twice. I have won the weeks biggest blowout twice, including this week, and lost the weeks biggest blowout twice although one of them I did not have the lowest score that week. I currently have the lowest average FGs per week at under 1, which is crazy as usually kickers are good for me, and this week I set the single week record for most rushing yards by a team. This FF sure is a wild and wacky affair.

Some FF players make me laugh. A guy in my league must not know we have two spots for IR. He cut Elliot, granted he might not be able to be put there, and also Kupp, who is eligible for IR. I put in a waiver to try and pick Kupp up. I am at 9 out of 10 so doubt I will get him UNLESS everyone else is busy and asleep so they miss he is out there. I will slap him in an IR spot if I get him and hope he is healthy for last week and any playoff games I might have. Too good to pass up on. If he is done for the season it costs me nothing at this point. I have an open IR spot because Marquise Brown, who I picked up off waivers a couple weeks back, is coming off IR.

I'm guessing that guy is not in line for the fantasy playoffs. Either way that is really irresponsible to outright drop Kupp. I wish I played in a league with someone that dumb.

That is the crazy thing. He is 7-3 and in a two-way tie for 1st but with tie breaker of points scored he is in 1st. I thought MAYBE he had both IR spots filled and needed them more but he has both spots open. Yea, not to bright. Got to know the rules. He could have put Kupp, and Elliot maybe, on IR and pick up a couple guys till they come back from IR. Odds are he might end up regretting the move.

I have Kupp in both leagues and I am in position to make the playoffs in both. He should be back around the first week of fantasy playoffs. I hope whoever picks up Kupp knocks that guy out. Maybe then he will learn to pay attention to the rules.
