I moved this summer, so I have USPS Informed Delivery, which gives me a notification of each day's mail as well as any larger packages that are in the system. I can see that my new sets are still sitting in the Jersey City distribution center, where they've been since Dec. 14. Because the current iteration of the USPS has a cruel sense of humor, I received a notification on Dec. 18 saying that my package would be arriving that day... sadly, that wasn't the case, as it was only the date the package would have arrived under normal circumstances. Next week is now the best case scenario for me (but I still appreciate Todd's efforts to get everything mailed quickly!).

I have now been completely eliminated from the battle royal as my LOW replacement cards arrived tonight and I had already received the new LOW set as part of my Quarter 4 order.

I ran my traditional New Blood Tournament to test out the cards. The winner usually gets a title shot against my top singles champion (only exception was the tag set and ladies).
Plus a number one contenders triple threat tag eliminations featuring:
Bulldogs vs Powers of Pain vs Killer Bees.
May post results but brackets for the 8 man tourney are
Muraco vs Ware and Adonis vs Manny in bracket 1.
Steele vs Virgil and Orton vs Hillbilly on the 2nd half.
Will see how it plays out but the results fit my fed nicely even with an upset or two.

Still in and going strong! Looks like Team Canada is holding its own in this bout. I have a feeling if one of us Canuck's get our cards the others will be not too far behind. Hang in there folks! This Battle Royal is getting interesting.

Is the typo the "Katie, bar the door!" line (which should be "katy bar the door") because that's the thing that immediately jumped out at me the first time I saw the card. It can be spelled either way. The comma seems optional. The earliest print example of the phrase has the spelling and punctuation like the Solie card. For what it's worth. |

So to bide our time waiting for our cards and all I had another question for all my fellow promoters.
With Gordon Solie in LOW now, what are some of your favorite moments, angles with Mr. Solie be it in interviews, calling the action or whatnot in his career?
(For me, anytime he would interview or have Kevin Sullivan or his freaks on it would always be a hoot to watch).
What do you all think? any favorite moments that stick out to you?
