LAW PIONEER ERA: Crowning Glory

The stage is set and the Legends of Avalon Wrestling Pioneer Era is set to debut on CBN Classic as soon as the cards come in the mail.  The PIONEER ERA will take place between 1945 and 1975 in my alternate timeline.  It will start off as something of a distraction for those in the Northeast USA (United States of Avalon) from the World War that is going on and end with the plane crash in 1975 that sees Flair badly injured, the owner of LAW at this time die but Johnny Valentine survives in better shape.

CROWNING GLORY always the first event that kicks off any era in my federation will see a 24 man tournament concluding in a triple threat match to see who becomes the first ever LAW Avalon champion.  The show also features the tag team title tournament and two battle royals to decide the first ever INTERSTATE and HEAVY METAL CHAMPIONS (HM will be a battle royal featuring the losers of the first round of the Heavyweight tournament, while the INTERSTATE is the losers of rounds 2 and 3).

TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT will feature Rick & Scott Steiner, Bill & Scott Irwin, Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli, Killer & Psycho, Butch Miller & Luke Williams, Pitbull 1 & Pitbull 2, Bill Carr & Dan Barry and last but not least Billy Red Lyons & Red Bastian!!

In the tournament to crown the first ever AVALON HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION (as of right now this person would become the first ever champion in the timeline, as the Pioneer era is the earliest era) we have ... Walter, the British Bulldog, Bruno Moretti, Ivan Koloff, Ilio Dipaolo, Ed Lewis, The Mountie, Jack Brisco, Fit Finlay, Killer Kowalski, Rock Riddle, Scott Casey, Timothy Thatcher, Baron Von Raschke, the Destroyer, Giant Baba, Jake Milliman, Dan Severn, Youssuf Ishmaelo, George Tragos, Angelo Mosca, Fritz Von Goering, Bob Roop and Mike Graham!

As you can see I'm kind of going for a heavy nationalist view in this fed, a lot of different countries represented that want to represent their country during this time of world war and cold war.  This is all about pride and who will walk out with the gold!?!?!?!

To my shock, the Sheep Herders dominated and become the first ever tag team champions. George Tragos surprises to become the first Heavy Metal champion and already has decided to only defend the title inside steel cages. In the main tournament Jack Brisco and Killer Kowalski battled to a DDQ and then in the Interstate title battle royal it once again came down to them. Brisco came out on top to be the first Interstate champion. And in the end, the Strangler Ed Lewis strangled his way to become the first ever LAW Avalon Champion in my feds history!

The big story going into the first four pack of shows sees Jack Brisco defending the IS title for the first time and is undefeated at time. His main foe though is strangely fighting for the MAIN title against Ed Lewis which is interesting to see how that plays out.

The storyline in my head is that the executives at CBN are slowly restoring the old film footage of this era. Nicknamed 'the Pioneer Era' this era is currently the first in the timeline and takes place between 1945 and 1975. You will see a lot of father figures popping up here obviously and a lot of CLASSIC wrestling. Some day I gotta get Thesz and add him to this fed ...
