I've relaunched the Shooters All-star Grappling Alliance, but with a few twists. Instead of being clones, the wrestlers are from other times and places in parallel universes. This means a wrestler we know mostly as a face could suddenly be a heel. It's weird, but I've been reading a lot of weird stuff (and I'm weird by default).
Anyway, since Halloween is my favorite holiday and to celebrate restarting me fed, I'm jumping right in with my first ppv:
Fright Night
Saturday, October 24, 2020
Volcano Dome; Morganton, NC.
1. World Champion Dan Severn vs. Killer Kowalski
Severn defeated Kowalski in the tournament to win the World Title, and now Kowalski finally has his rematch. The match between the federation's biggest face and biggest heel will determine the direction of SAGA.
2. Tag Team Champions The Vachons vs. Abdullah the Butcher & The Baron
These two teams first met in the finals of the Tag Team Tournament and now they have their own rematch. And not willing to settle for a simple match, the four men have agreed that the bout will be settled under special rules to be determined right before the match itself.
3. Jim Londos & The Briscos vs. Nick Bockwinkle, Ray Stevens, and Larry Zbyszko
Bockwinkle and his team have signed a part time contract with SAGA, and he wishes to show off his ability by stealing the show. But Londos isn't willing to step aside and feels Bock must prove himself against a capable opponent. No special storylines here. This is all about egos!
4. Bryan Danielson, George Tragos, & Kosrow Vaziri vs. Big Superstar, Richard Hutton, & Bob Roop
In an alternate universe, the Iran Crisis never occurred. Instead of embracing the hate and becoming The Iron Sheik, Vaziri continued to fight with his signature amateur style. While never making it big, he still held a fulfilling career. On the other hand, without a foreign villain to defeat, Terry B. never became Hulk Hogan. Jumping back and forth between face and heel but failing at both, he called himself Big Superstar and demanded the respect that he never actually earned. Now he has joined forces with kindred spirits Roop and Hutton and have chosen Vaziri as the target of their rage. But Vaziri has allies of his own in the form of Danielson and Tragos. It's a battle between 3 huge egos against 3 skilled wrestlers who just love the sport.
5. The Psychopath (Gauntlet Stable Match)
Crusher, Ox Baker, Fritz Von Goering, Mikey Whipwreck, Steve Regal, Danny Hodge, & Tim Donst
vs.
Stan Hansen, Shane Douglas, Steve Corino, Bill Curry, Al Snow, The Sandman, & Justin Credible
Douglas has proudly formed the superstable Team Extreme, and joining forces with Hansen, he looks to take over the entire federation. But they;ll have their hands full as co-captains Crusher and Ox have formed their own team to meet them. No handshakes or best intentions here. This one's going to get bloody!
Preshow:
Flying Red Heads vs. Ultramantis Black & Frightmare
Kyle O'Reiley vs. Adam Pearce.
