GWF Presents... #32 2088.08.14
- Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Match - THANTOS def. SPIKE via submission with a MASTERLOCK. ** Tokens: Thantos 2 - Spike 2 ** Employing the same strategy that he used during their Best in the Universe semifinal match, Thantos was able to exploit Spike's lack of experience. Star Warrior advanced on the ring to challenge Thantos after the bell, but Wolf arrived and pushed him out of the way. Brute and Massacre arrived to confront Wolf, allowing Thantos to escape. Instead of pursuing the champion, Star Warrior stood with Wolf to engage the Gladiators in a staredown. Thantos retained the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship. This was a successful version one title defense.
- Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match - GREEK GODS: Actagon & Proteus def. SOCIETY OF DEATH: Invincible Krakan & Ghengis Khan via pinfall <snake eyes> when Proteus pinned Invincible Krakan with a chokeslam after Krakan missed a high risk move. ** Tokens: Khan 2 ** After smashing Actagon with one of the title belts, Khan tried to jump Proteus after the bell. Billy Jo Boxer rushed the ring to cut him off, leading to a heated exchange between him and Khan. Greek Gods retained the Galaxian Tag Team Championship. This was a successful version nine title defense.
- GWF Interplanetary Championship Match - MESMER def. BISHOP HELL via submission with a BLACKOUT. ** Tokens: n/a ** Mesmer had his challenger well scouted and had no problem defending himself against Bishop's underhanded style. Mesmer retained the GWF Interplanetary Championship. This was a successful version three title defense.
In other action...
- Triple Threat Match - STAR WARRIOR def. LORD NEXUS and WOLF via pinfall on Lord Nexus with a small package. ** Tokens: n/a ** Wolf stunned Nexus with an atomic knee drop, but Star Warrior was quick to capitalize on the situation. With superb ring awareness, Star Warrior knocked Wolf out of the ring and rolled Nexus into a flawless pinning combination.
- Titan Death Match - SPLATTER def. PIT VIPER via pinfall with a HATCHET JOB. ** Tokens: Viper 2 ** A variety of weapons littered the ring before this heated exchange reached its conclusion.
THE CREEPER (w/ Vanity) def. BEAST-RIDER (w/ Renegade) via pinfall with a heart punch. ** Tokens: Creeper 2 - Rider 5 ** Whenever The Creeper started to lose interest in the fight, a threatening gesture from Vanity was enough to get him motivated. Renegade went wild and attacked Vanity, but the confusion at ringside allowed The Creeper to take control of this emotional encounter.

I had to do a lot of catching up but I have to say I am really enjoying your GWF fed my friend. I have taken on more of an interest in the COTG side of things recently so it's been a lot of fun checking out what you have going on here.

I have taken on more of an interest in the COTG side of things recently so it's been a lot of fun checking out what you have going on here. Always a pleasure to have you stopping by, brotha... As much as I enjoy playing Legends, my heart truly belongs to COTG... Having lots of fun with this canon fed and I think I'll be starting up another project very soon - heavily influenced by the Tournament of Champions and upcoming Kronos Battlelines sets which will feature an alternate reality... Totally stoked and that's the TRUTH!

All my picks for the first round were correct. This next round is going to be harder to pick.
Star Warrior/Wolf wins it all! Finals will be Star Warrior/Wolf vs. Animal Pack.

All my picks for the first round were correct. This next round is going to be harder to pick. Star Warrior/Wolf wins it all! Finals will be Star Warrior/Wolf vs. Animal Pack. Animal Pack winning a shot at the champs would be great... But, it's hard to bet against SW & Wolf... Truth!
