I didn't see this outcome! But, that is what the Milky Way Cup is all about... gives lower card tag teams a chance to win. I hope they don't squander this lucky break.

Krakan & Khan just did what no other team has done in 2088 - Defeat the Greeks... Can lightning strike the same place twice? Totally appreciate the great feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

When I was 12 years old the Society of Death won my 2088 tag tournament over the Gods in the finals too (except it was Mutant and Khan).
Awesome results!

Awesome tourney and surprise winners. Good stuff. Funny thing for me...at the end of 87 Krakan and Khan won the tag belts from Lord Nexus and Pit Viper. When Splatter joined in 88, I had them go Freebirds and defended the belts in combination.

Always love hearing about the fed histories of my friends and fellow promoters - Especially when drawing direct comparisons to what I'm doing now... Very cool!

Receiving a glimpse at how other feds were shaping up during this long ago time period... Many thanks!

GWF Presents... #35 2088.09.11
- Galaxian Heavyweight Championship Match - STAR WARRIOR def. THANTOS via pinfall with a NOVA LAUNCH. ** Tokens: Warrior 3 - Thantos 2 ** Thantos used cheap tactics to gain control, but a surprise appearance by Wolf caused the champion to lose his balance at a critical moment in the match. STAR WARRIOR won the Galaxian Heavyweight Championship. (3)
- Galaxian Tag Team Championship Match - SOCIETY OF DEATH: Invincible Krakan & Ghengis Khan def. GREEK GODS: Actagon & Proteus via DQ. ** Tokens: Khan 2 - Proteus 1 ** Khan tried to slice Proteus with a foreign object, causing Actagon to lose his composure. Grabbing a steel chair, Actagon took out both challengers without a second thought. Greek Gods retained the Galaxian Tag Team Championship. The title did not change hands due to a technical decision.
- GWF Interplanetary Championship Match - BISHOP HELL def. MESMER via pinfall with a sunset flip off the ropes. ** Tokens: Mesmer 2 ** Killer Queen taunted Mesmer after the bell, stating that he had no hope of keeping the IP title away from the Royal Court. BISHOP HELL won the GWF Interplanetary Championship.
In other action...
- Cosmic Cage Match - ANIMEN OF ANDROMEDA: Battering Ram, Incredible Badger & Reptillo def. GLADIATORS OF AETHRA: Brute, Massacre & Spike via pinfall when Battering Ram pinned Spike with a BATTERING RAM. ** Tokens: Badger 1 ** This match did not live up to its potential and resolved nothing in the ongoing feud between the AniMen and the Gladiators.
COMRADE TERROR def. ADAM BLAST via pinfall with an ATOMIC WARHEAD. ** Tokens: Terror 3 - Blast 2 ** Blast nearly pulled off a major upset, but sneaky interference by Executioner drastically altered the course of this conflict.
RENEGADE (w/ Beast-Rider) def. THE CREEPER (w/ Vanity) via submission with a SPINECRACKER. ** Tokens: Renegade 1 ** Renegade landed a suicide dive that took out Vanity and The Creeper at the same time.
