Setting: January 2087

The Galaxian Wrestling Federation (as with much of the Galaxy) has been shut down for several months to vicious galactic storms raging throughout numerous galaxies. These storms have caused much chaos, death, destruction, as well as various other small anomalies effecting time and space itself. For the first time in recorded history beings across the universe have had glimpses of mirrored universes and alternate realities. The storms seemed to cease suddenly in late November 2086.

In mid December the GWF decided to reopen and restart from scratch with a new investor Filsinger Enterprises and several corporate sponsors. A two night tournament was held to crown a new Galaxian Champion for this new era of the GWF. The finals saw The Evil Gamemaster Thantos defeat Massif in the finals to claim the gold. The GWF announced that with Filsinger Enterprises' investment that would be starting a new weekly program... GWF HYPERDRIVE! Over the next few weeks tournaments for the vacant Galaxian Tag Team and Interplanetary Titles will be held with the finals culminating at the first supercard of the new era the Perennial 2087!

"The GWF has reopened operations with a BIG BANG at the Ceres Amphitheater! This was a near sell-out crowd for the venue and it just goes to show the galaxy has missed wrestling, especially the GWF! The Flying Titans (Pit Viper & Pulsar) beat The Society Of Death when Pit Viper hit the VENOM BLAST on Mutant

Flamboyance (Killer Queen & Vanity) defeated The Neptunian Space Croppers after Renegade missed a turnbuckle charge and hit head first into the buckle allowing Killer Queen to roll him up for the pin

The Henchmen (Comrade Terror & Executioner) beat The Federation Defense Fighters (Commander Sam & Massif) when Executioner hit Sam with the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE

The Gladiators of Aethra defeated The Greek Gods with Massacre hitting Proteus with the MASSACRE SLAM

And in the Main Event...

The Invincible Krakan pinned Lord Nexus after a backward leg sweep

"The GWF has hired a backstage interviewer, Trent Lawless. He made his debut at this show interviewing Star Warrior. Lawless did not endear himself well with neither the crowd in attendance or Star Warrior. He was too busy insulting the fan favorite than trying to conduct an actual interview... he then gave Star Warrior a "Lawless Bitchslap"! Star Warrior lost his composure and shoved Lawless to the floor! That was when Thantos sneak attacked Star Warrior with a chair shot from behind! Looks like the time away from the ring has not settled this rivalry one iota!

Another rivalry that began before the galaxy-wide shutdown is boiling over once again... after their victory over the FDF. Comrade Terror waffled Massif from behind before he and his partner Executioner viciously beat down Commander Sam. Unfortunately, they did not stop there... the exclamation point came in the form of a spiked ATOMIC WARHEAD on the floor!!! The Henchmen fled the scene as the locker room and security stormed the area. Sam remained motionless as medical personnel attended to him. Fans remained silent as he was stretchered out to a awaiting Medical Craft. More on Sam's condition as we get more information. The Henchmen have been suspended 5 cards which eliminates them from the Tag Title Tournament! Will this give The Gladiators a bye to the final round at Perennial 2087???

Red Talon's only success seems to be in his battles against Beast-Rider. Talon hasnt won many fans over so far as most find him irritating with his arrogance and superiority complex. Talon is currently crusading to run Beast-Rider run out of wrestling and his Cosmic Zoo shut down. He claims Beast-Rider is exploiting these poor creatures and he is offended. Beast-Rider when questioned about Red Talon he just rolls his eyes muttering under his breath "that bitch Red Talon"

The Titans vs. Society of Death has been a really hot feud... on Hyperdrive #003 the referee lost complete control and the match ended up in a wild 6 man brawl. A rematch was signed for Perennial 2087 as a Elimination Match under Titan Death Rules!

The Gladiators have provoked their former partner Wolf and this one is bound to get ugly! On Hyperdrive #003 Wolf squared off against Massacre in singles action. Brute interfered in the match causing a DQ for Massacre but Massacre didnt seem to care. Both Gladiators beat Wolf to a bloody pulp. When Wolf recovered later in the night he challenged both Gladiators to a match on the Hyperdrive following Perennial 2087. Will Wolf face his former teammates in a handicap match or will he find a partner? Nobody is certain at this point with Wolf's unpredictable nature.

Their seems to be a bit of dissension in the ranks of the Evil Ones. Seems Exo-King and Duke of Destruction are not very fond of each other. Rumor is The Duke has been rallying behind King's back to take over The Evil Ones. Seems Exo-King may be aware of whats being said given both men leaving each other high and dry in tag matches.

Thantos has been doing everything in his power to get inside Star Warrior's head. His latest attempts has involved targeting Omega. On Hyperdrive #003 - Thantos used Death Knight to keep Star Warrior busy so he could injure Omega's leg with the Masterlock. Omega is in line to face Thantos for the Galaxian Title but now it seems Omega may have a rough time trying to stand toe to toe with The Evil Gamemaster.

Flamboyance beat The Gladiators via CHECK MATE on Brute

The Gladiators had the match won when Massacre put Vanity down with the MASSACRE SLAM until Wolf ran to the ring and got on the apron to distract Massacre... this changed the entire tide of the match as Vanity made the tag to Killer Queen who took over on offense. Massacre ended up tagging in Brute but Queen's speed overcame Brute's strength and Flamboyance walk away with the titles. The Gladiators will be seeking vengeance on Wolf for sure!
