Statler: "Oh no, first the theater and now they're going into wrestling?"
Waldorf: "Well it can't be worse than their acting."
Rizzo:: "So hey is there any chese popcorn around here?" Rizzo then started to wander looking for some cheese popcorn.
Qualifier Matches
Janice pinned Fozzie after the Stoned Cold Stunner. Fozzie had his moments here especially using his No Laughing Matter moonsault but Janice avoided an attack and Fozzie collided with the ringpost. From there, she tossed him inside and hit her finisher to score the three.
Bobo the Bear upset Miss Piggy with the Big Bear Hug. Miss Piggy dominated the match but Bobo was not willing to stay down. Late in the match, he got a surprise reveresal and clamped on the bear hug. Piggy peacefully passed out in the move with a smile on her face.

1st Round
The Great Gonzo pinned Bobo the Bear after a piledriver. Bobo did a great job avoiding the Weirdolock but he was nailed by a powerful Screwball Skull Smasher and then a victim of a piledriver and pin.
Swedish Chef stomped Animal with Chef's Surprise (+5). Animal was wild but he never could get it going and Chef battered him down before picking him up randomly and this time delivering a Death Valley Driver
before covering a stunned Animal for the victory.
Sgt. Floyd Pepper squashed Crazy Harry with Power Chord. As Janice watched, Floyd took it to Crazy Harry. He dominated most of the match but Harry did make a late comeback. Harry missed a dive on the floor though and Floyd hit the Power Chord to score the win.
Kermit the Frog bested Link Hogthrob after the Four Flipper Frog Splash. Link seemed more interested in posing than battling Kermit. Kermit hit a series of dives and then climbed to the top and hit a perfect frog splash to take the match.
Sweetums had to make a combeback to beat Beauregard after the Monster Splash. Beauregard dominated most of the match and looked to score the win with his Clean Sweep. Sweetums however just did not want to stay down. He finally grew tired of things and hit a pair of Monster Splashes to put Beauregard down.
Sam the Eagle put away Janice with American Majety. Janice gave it a go but Sam was just too much. Floyd tried to interfere at one point but Sam just dumped him to the floor before he used American Majesty to take a win for America.
Rowlf upset Constantine with the Dogg Pound. Constantine looked like he was going to take the match multiple times but Rowlf just would not stay down before Rowlf went on an offensive roll and pounded Constantine down before covering for the three.
Uncle Deadly bested Dr. Bunsen Honeydew with the Sovereign Bow. Bunsen's scientific knowledge was no match for Uncle Deadly's strength as he powered through whatever Honeydew threw at him before locking in his finisher for a submission.
After the matches, Scooter interviewed the winners.
Scooter: "What's on your mind after the match?"
Gonzo: "My opponent stopped me from performing my greatest trick of balancing an elephant on my nose, but Bobo just couldn't take the big drop. Now Swedish Chef, I have some work to do against you after what you tried to do to my Camilla."
Scooter: "So how was your match?"
Swedish Chef: "Burgleschnarf, urk mur larra, poppcorn."
Scooter: "You heard the man."
Scooter: "So how do you feel after the match?"
Floyd: "You got to get into a groove, man. Don't worry, my woman and I are going places."
Scooter: "So why are you doing this?"
Kermit: "You know the Muppets will do whatever it takes to make our audience happy."
Scooter: "So why did you choose to be in this tournament?"
Sweetums: "I just want to belong."
Scooter: "So how do you feel after the match?"
Sam: "Well as you know, I do things the American way, and my opponent was strong but no match for American power."
Scooter: "So how did you end up in this tournament?"
Rowlf: "Well it was a great story involving me, a piano, and some humorous incidents but I don't think we'll have time for all the details."
Scooter: "How do you feel after the match?"
Uncle Deadly: "Delightful."
Scooter waits for a follow-up but Deadly offers none as he departs.
Statler and Waldorf: "Well it come have been worse. They could have put on a television show instead." *they break into laughter as Rizzo continues to scout for cheese popcorn.*
