The last card in Portland was great. I loved the chain match win for Ivan Koloff over Dick Hutton as well as the respective wins for Ray Stevens and Adrian Adonis & Tully Blanchard. This fed is firing on all cylinders as usual. Oh, and how can I forget, version fourteen for the "Macho Man", Oooooh Yeeeaaahhhh!!!!"

There's a decent chance of these two facing off in the near future... How long can the Macho Man keep this unprecedented streak going? Always appreciate the awesome feedback, my brother... Many thanks!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
Acceleration Tour (card #140) 03.Jul.23 Veterans Memorial Arena, Spokane, WA
ADRIAN ADONIS (w/ Sherri Martel & Tully Blanchard) def. George Steele (w/ Hillbilly Jim) via submission at 3:05. - Adonis finished Steele with a GOODNIGHT IRENE. -- Tokens: Steele 1 - Not even Jim's enthusiastic support was enough to keep Steele on track as Adonis picked up a decisive win.
BULL CURRY & THE SPOILER def. Fit Finlay & Scott Irwin via pinfall at 4:34. - Spoiler pinned Irwin following a ropewalk smash. -- Tokens: Irwin 1 - The violent feud between Curry and Irwin quickly took center stage in this hard hitting exchange. Without warning, Spoiler tagged himself into the match and caught Irwin completely off guard. Finlay was visibly unimpressed and stomped away before the official decision was even announced.
MAD DOG VACHON (w/ Ray Stevens) def. Ted DiBiase (w/ Bob Orton Jr) via pinfall at 8:14. - Vachon pinned DiBiase following a PILEDRIVER. -- Tokens: DiBiase 2 - As the showdown between their respective teams for the LCW Universal Tag Team Championship grew more inevitable, Vachon delivered a relentless assault that forced DiBiase to remain on the defensive for the majority of this contest.
LCW Universal Ladies Championship Match SHERRI MARTEL def. Malia Hosaka via pinfall at 16:39. - Martel pinned Hosaka following a TOP ROPE SPLASH. -- Tokens: Martel 1 - Hosaka 4 - Each time Hosaka started to press her advantage, Martel would perform a slick counter to regain upper hand. With steady perseverance, Martel was content to chip away at the champion's endurance until she could no longer fight back. SHERRI MARTEL won the LCW Universal Ladies Championship. (2)
BLACKJACK MULLIGAN, GREG VALENTINE & TERRY GORDY (w/ Jimmy Hart) def. Rod Fenton, Billy Red Lyons & Red Bastien via submission at 7:20. - Valentine finished Fenton with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. -- Tokens: Gordy 1 - Bastien 1 - The referee had his hands full trying to maintain control of this grudge match. The Hart Foundation effectively grounded their high flying opposition to score an important victory.
IVAN KOLOFF def. The Crusher via pinfall at 7:51. - Koloff pinned Crusher following a RUSSIAN SICKLE. -- Tokens: Crusher 4 - Landing a cheap shot with his chain while the referee's back was turned, Koloff continued his current hot streak.
FRANK GOTCH def. Lou Thesz via submission at 13:16. - Gotch finished Thesz with a crossface and armbar. -- Tokens: Thesz 2 - Eager to get some payback against the man that eliminated him from the Star Spangled Rumble at the beginning of the month, Gotch used intimidation to affect the referee's judgement. Thesz passionately argued that he did not surrender, but his protests fell on deaf ears. With a spiteful gesture, Gotch told Thesz to accept his defeat with some dignity.
LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship Match GREAT GAMA (w/ Bobo Brazil) def. Abdullah the Butcher (w/ Rock Riddle) via pinfall at 19:22. - Gama pinned Abdullah following a GAMA THROW. -- Tokens: Gama 5 - Abdullah 6 - Both men were bleeding heavily by the conclusion of this seesaw battle. Each time Riddle tried to assist his client, Brazil was there to thwart his efforts. Riddle was furious, stating that Brazil's presence at ringside gave the champion an unfair advantage. To clear up any doubt, Gama agreed to a future rematch against Abdullah inside a steel cage! Great Gama retained the LCW Universal Heavyweight Championship for a successful version one title defense.

Frank Gotch vs. Lou Thesz would be a great match to watch in person in my opinion!
Gama vs. Abdullah in a steel cage?!?! Has the champ gone mad? There is no way that I would step in the cage with the Sudanese Nightmare.

Always enjoy a nice Adonis win. Big wins by Sensational Sherri (especially grabbing gold) Frank GOtch and Great Gama. Sensational Sherri's first time with the title was very disappointing, so I'm hoping she fares better in her second reign... And if things keep following their current trends, we're gonna see Gama vs. Gotch pretty soon... Truly appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

There is no way that I would step in the cage with the Sudanese Nightmare. Not only did Gotch defeat Thesz... He delivered some condescending commentary to punctuate his victory... Rematch anyone? Yes, please! No one will ever accuse the Great One of lacking confidence... But, stepping inside the cage with the Butcher could be a fatal mistake. Always appreciate the awesome feedback, my friend... Many thanks!
