I feel the need to have DK's first defense be against Bull Curry now. Shame Rocca/Lewis was so quick. I always have a blast with Curry... You rarely get a clean decision when he's involved. Rocca vs. Lewis was kinda short, but the snake eyes aftermath offered some interesting possibilities... Either Lewis will take a berth in the semifinals away from Londos or his career in the fed comes to an end. Always look forward to your input, my friend... Many thanks!

I'm really looking forward to the Heroes Cup, the teams entered make for an awesome field and only one returning team is pretty cool. I'm looking forward to seeing who comes away with the Cruiserweight title. I'm pulling for Antonino Rocca to win it. Ida Mae Martinez looked great in that four-way win and it would be cool to see her challenge Mildred Burke for the title. I'm also psyched for Johnny Valentine vs. Gorilla Monsoon. Great action all around as always, my friend. The return of Johnny Valentine was not premeditated in any way... A snake eyes finish dictated that I bring in someone on the fly to help Ilio DiPaolo avoid a double team beatdown at the hands of Roop and Monsoon... JV just popped into my head as he had not made an appearance in a long time... As a result, we're getting a dream match between him and Monsoon - sometimes those dice actually know what they're doing. HA! I've got my fingers crossed for a DK vs. Rocca final, but I'll be happy with any of these guys becoming the next cruiserweight champ... Stoked that you're also looking forward to the Heroes Cup, my friend... Lots of crazy dynamics among the teams in this year's field... Many thanks for staying tuned!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
VintagePro+ 1.4 (card #204) 04.May.28 Mid-America Center, Council Bluffs, IA
YUSUF ISMAIL def. Pampero Firpo via DQ at 3:12. - Firpo was disqualified when he pushed Ismail into the referee while the two men were brawling out on the floor. -- Tokens: n/a - In an ironic twist, Firpo showed that his unorthodox manner was even too much for the Terrible Turk to handle.
BOB ORTON SR & LARRY HENNIG def. Fritz von Goering & Rod Fenton via pinfall at 6:49. - Orton pinned Fenton after a falling body slam. -- Tokens: Fenton 1 - It was obvious that Orton and Hennig considered Fenton a thorn in their side and was instantly made the primary target in this hard hitting exchange.
GREAT GAMA def. John Pesek via DQ at 8:03. - Pesek was disqualified for intentionally injuring Gama with a scissors & wristlock. -- Tokens: Gama 5 - Taking his role as the VP+ World Class Champion's enforcer very seriously, Pesek revealed that he did not even care about the prematch stipulations that were in place by ensuring that Gama suffered serious harm in this contest. As a result, Pesek would not be permitted at ringside when Gama eventually challenged Ed Lewis for the title. <Gama injured for 3 cards.>
EVAN LEWIS def. Jim Londos via submission at 21:36. - Lewis finished Londos with a kneebar. -- Tokens: Lewis 5 - Londos 8 - This rubber match exceeded all expectations as both men were bloody and exhausted by its conclusion. As a result of conditions that were previously agreed upon, Londos would have to forfeit his place in the LCW Universal Cruiserweight Championship tournament semifinals to Lewis. Deciding that it was time to forgive past differences, the two competitors shook hands before exiting the ring.
Best of 3 Falls VP+ World Class Championship Match ED LEWIS (w/ John Pesek) def. Hackenschmidt via two falls to none at 11:47. - 1st fall awarded to Lewis via pinfall at 8:52. Lewis pinned Hackenschmidt with a STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK. -- Tokens: Hackenschmidt 3 - 2nd fall awarded to Lewis via submission at 11:47. Lewis finished Hackenschmidt <snake eyes> with a STRANGLER'S HEADLOCK. -- Tokens: Hackenschmidt 4 - After losing his previous title defense against Hackenschmidt due to a technical decision, Lewis proceeded to make a bold statement in this rematch. Eager to send a message to anyone that might oppose him in the future, Lewis continued his assault after the bell. Bob Orton Sr and Larry Hennig steamrolled their way through Pesek in order to make the save. <Hackenschmidt injured for 1 card.> Ed Lewis retained the VP+ World Class Championship for a successful version four title defense.

Ed Lewis just put up a dominant win and Evan gets the mild upset. Strangler Ed is gonna be a really tough champion to dethrone... Especially with Pesek serving as a highly effective gatekeeper -- The Great One is injured again. Meanwhile, Strangler Evan's big win over Londos puts him back in the running for the vacant cruiserweight title... Truly appreciate the continued interest, my friend... Many thanks!

Nice wins with Great Gama and Ed Lewis. Will Ed Lewis have a title reign like Macho Man?

Nice wins with Great Gama and Ed Lewis. Will Ed Lewis have a title reign like Macho Man? Strangler Ed is a strong champion, but he's gotta long way to go before he's in a position to threaten the record setting Reign of Macho Madness... Always appreciate the great feedback, brotha... Many thanks!
