Sheri losing was tremendous (granted I don't have Burke yet as I just ordered the Women expansion sets) and kind surprising in my humble opinion. Brody added to the Race/Bockwinkle bout is going to be wild!!! How many chairs are going to be flung? How much will actually be fought in the ring? How many times will Bridy bark out "husk" while holding out his right hand? I await the answers my friend! As you will soon discover (when you receive those newly ordered cards), Mildred Burke is capable of consistently beating any opponent... She is THAT DAMN GOOD! Always great to have you in the audience, my friend... Dig the enthusiasm!

LEGENDARY CHRONICLES WRESTLING
Crown Journey Tour (card #81) 02.Aug.22 Alltech Arena, Lexington, KY
ALEXIS SMIRNOFF def. Kenny Jay via pinfall at 1:04. - Smirnoff finished Jay with a jumping stomp. -- Tokens: n/a
Jerry Brisco vs. Baron von Raschke (w/ Larry Zbyszko) resulted in a no contest. - An instant after this contest had begun, Randy Savage made a surprise appearance, jumping Zbyszko and tossing him into the ring. A wild brawl erupted and the referee was forced to toss out the match. Feeling the need to protect his younger brother, Jack Brisco rushed the ring and confronted Savage. Playing the role of peacekeeper, Jerry pointed out that Savage had saved Jack from a beatdown at the hands of Baron and Zbyszko not long ago. Jack was not happy with the reminder.
RAY STEVENS def. Jim Brunzell via pinfall at 10:43. - Stevens finished Brunzell with a BOMBS AWAY. -- Tokens: Stevens 3 - Brunzell 3 - The previous encounter between these two men ended in disappointing fashion when Brunzell was disqualified due to outside interference by The Crusher. Both men delivered plenty of high impact offense in this fast paced rematch.
ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER, IRON SHEIK & NIKOLAI VOLKOFF (w/ Rock Riddle) def. The Crusher, Butch Miller & Luke Williams via DQ at 9:14. - Crusher was disqualified for smashing Volkoff with a blatant chairshot. -- Tokens: Abdullah 1, Sheik 1 - Crusher 1, Miller 4, Williams 1 - After Sheik & Volkoff lost a count-out decision to the Sheepherders on a recent card, Riddle demanded that his clients be granted a rematch. Abdullah and Crusher were added to the mix, making it nearly impossible for the referee to maintain order. When Sheik & Volkoff took out Miller with an illegal double team, Crusher took matters into his own hands.
LCW Universal Cruiserweight Championship Match ADRIAN STREET def. Danny Hodge via DQ at 6:25. - Hodge was disqualified when he put his hands on the referee. -- Tokens: n/a - Realizing he was not going to beat the champion with clean tactics, Street took the fight out to the floor and tried to run Hodge into the rails. Hodge reversed the momentum, ramming Street into a corner post. The referee tried to move the action back into the ring, but emotions were running high and Hodge pushed him aside in order to continue his assault. Danny Hodge retained the LCW Universal Cruiserweight Championship due to a technical decision.
OX BAKER def. Jack Brisco via pinfall at 4:28. - Baker finished Brisco with a HEART PUNCH. -- Tokens: Brisco 2 - Brisco seemed entirely off his game, allowing Baker to continue his hot streak. The crippling blow seriously injured Brisco and he had to be removed on a stretcher. <Brisco injured for 3 cards.> - When Jerry Brisco went to check on his brother's condition, J.J. Dillon pulled him aside. Dillon reassured Jerry that his Cavaliers would handle this particular vendetta.
MASKED SUPERSTAR & STAN HANSEN def. Bob Roop & Dick Hutton (w/ J.J. Dillon) via submission at 16:23. - Superstar finished Roop with a COBRA HOLD. -- Tokens: Roop 3, Hutton 2 - With their shot against Don Muraco & Jimmy Snuka for the LCW Universal Tag Team Championship scheduled to take place on the next card, Superstar & Hansen relied on strong teamwork to keep Dillon's Cavaliers on the defensive.
No Holds Barred Match LARRY ZBYSZKO (w/ Baron von Raschke) def. Randy Savage via pinfall at 9:07. - Zbyszko finished Savage with a PILEDRIVER. -- Tokens: Zbyszko 2 - Savage 1 - Savage was firing on all cylinders in this highly anticipated grudge match and nearly claimed the win after leaping off the apron and smashing Zbyszko across the back with the timekeeper's bell. Interference by Baron played a key role in drastically altering the course of this volatile exchange.

It was a show.......not a show I'd like, but always enjoy the shows even when I hate basically every result.

It was a show.......not a show I'd like, but always enjoy the shows even when I hate basically every result. I have to admit that card has forced me to adjust my booking strategy for a number of major players - Especially Danny Hodge and the Brisco boys... Not a major deal, but a minor headache... LOL! Even though you didn't enjoy the majority of the outcomes, thank you for always taking the time to check 'em out, my friend... Much appreciated!

Great write up! I have to agree with Troy that not exactly the winners I would want but....hey! The dice decide brutha! Yeah, like I said in my reply to TTX - lots of shuffling going on after the results of that last card... I guess the main event was really disappointing as well... But, I'm hoping the Macho Man can gain some glory in his upcoming rematches against the Baron... OHHH YEAH! Totally appreciate the great feedback, my friend... Many thanks!
